- For the rehearsals for Devil May Cry 3, the Just Cause team shot this Previz or Video StoryBoard to give the actors a chance to rehearse and the Producers to see how the scene will play out. Different versions were shot and later the Producers and Director chose which parts they liked.

It's that evil, confident slow drawl he does combined with those one liners, and harsh battle screams he does. Great voice, great character. I even based an OC on him in my weeaboo days.

In an interview they said there was supposed to be a transformation between arkham and jester but it was to difficult to animate
@@00kills42 glad they didn’t and went with the artistic choice instead. The swapping in and out within the blink of an eye is amazing, idk it resembles something about trickery so much more accurately.

Yes and no. Yes, you get to play the pretend part a lot, but a lot of it is study/research for characters and attention to detail for the role and memorising lines, which sounds boring and adulty.

In case of Devil May Cry, all three actors of the main cast both have exceptional voice acting and are stuntman/martial arts experts

It's because the devs needed to see how certain clothes behaved for certain scenes to animate them well.
@@szymonidesomco4974 People can ironically love something that they think sucks but makes for good entertainment. For example, the famous "FUCK YOUUUUUUU" scene from DmC. Many fans feel this encapsulates why it was not a good reboot for Devil May Cry, and until recently possibly killed the series, but it's also ironically loved as a meme for how ridiculous it is especially after an actor said the dialogue was "Shakespearean".
They actually wear it so capcom can capture the trenchcoat movement for the cutscenes more accurately

Honestly I really like Dan's voice. He is way too cool, and it fits Vergil so well! And of course others did Excellent job as well! I love you all so much.
I think they chose well. many villains have deep, dark voices while Vergil's stands out from the crowd.
I like the fact they didn't just get those Bayonet guns but instead cheaply made a duck tape blade using a PVC pipe.

Adam D Clerk's Jester/Arkham performance was absolutely impeccable.
I'd wish for more of this character in the appropriate crossover titles.
Such a missed opportunity.

Something about the VA themselves doing these performances is so cool. Dan has been known for his work as the Quantum Ranger and Ruben does a lot of Mocap stunt work for games like RE:2 Remake.
Rueben did stunt work for power rangers as well actually.
He was also chris Redfield's reference actor for RE 5.
This is great. I was smiling like a dumbass all the way through.
My favorite parts were Stephanie/Lady doing a flip (man, she didn't even drop that gun), and the voice shift of Adam changing from Jester to Arkham

Why did that dialogue didn't get into the game? It fitted perfectly to both Vergil's vision on humans and how Dante embraced his humanity differently from how he did after his character arc completed at the end of the game. It would have been amazing to watch this interaction after Vergil's second fight on the finished game, what a shame :( (PS: Love your work, Reuben).
The beginning looks like Highlander but sure does sound like Berserk.

What i love about this is that in the game, they're supposed to be a bunch of dorky teens fighting each other, but here it actually looks like professionals shooting a scene out of an action movie.

Usually I hate behind-the-scenes kind of stuff. I feel like it “ruins the magic”, you know? But this was just awesome. When it zoomed in on Dan and he opened his mouth and suddenly I was hearing Vergil’s catchphrases, for just a split second I was like “WTF? What is this witchcraft?” Lol... good times. Goes to show that being a VA is a *lot* more complicated than some might think. And mad respect to Reuben for standing up against the hate mob trying to destroy Vic.

man, this scene was something incredible to see, as a big fan brasilian and lover of the incredible DMC saga, it would be something incredible to see this scene in a future "reboot" of DMC (something that probably will never happen since the HD Collection version came out ) but the way CAPCOM has already rebooted Resident Evil using photorealism and intends to bring new ones like RE VII and RE 4 again with other graphics, it would be really cool to see DMC 3 with the same aspects of 5 one day and with scenes of perfect fights like this that were deleted
