I’ve called multiple AD’s in Ontario. I will call, wait three or so months, call again and it’s the same story every time. Never any watches in stock. No dj36’s only ones with diamonds, no explorers, subs etc.
Consider the previous model 36mm blue datejust (ref 116234) with jubilee bracelet and fluted bezel as the dial looks far better (to me). Better yet, take a look at the previous generation 36mm blue datejust with the smooth bezel and oyster bracelet (ref 116200) as it is perfect for every day or formal functions and very reasonably priced in the grey market...
Buddy, Yorkville is the worst location to go to. Try Collingwood, London or Windsor. The GTA is empty. Or let me know if you'd like me to inquire about this piece from an out-of-province AD with whom I have a decent relationship and they take deposits.

You have been out of the watch scene for a bit. You can't buy any Rolex 36mm+ at the AD anymore unless you have a good relationship there. They probably can take an order for 36mm though
Well after 5 years of collecting Hamilton and Steinhart, today my wife surprised me with my grail for our 21st anniversary. A Seamaster Aqua-terra chronometer with all the bells & whistles, the caliber 9605, in blue no less. Just yesterday I was completely content and satisfied with my modest collection of ETA tool watches, THEN THIS. It feels great but overwhelming, I mean where do I go from here? 😅 😆 😁 😂 😄 🤣 Cheers from Miami

Real men dont care about what size fits them best & what others say, however Id have to say unless you have humongous forearms 36mm is the perfect, most classy & timeless size for the average man
