Each country has different 'personal exemptions' on their taxes and many many more different tax credits...all different by country. No way Thailand is going to be able to scrutinize if tax was paid for each expat's home country. And historical taxes too - I made money years ago and the after tax value from successive previous years is what I'm bringing into Thailand each year - are they going to scrutinize my historical tax returns? no, they won't.
Even the Top Thailand Tax Experts don't know what is happening, its all hear say at the moment, it will be BIG NEWS when the results come out. Ill wait till then to look at what is happening.

Sad to hear a Firefighter had to endure those nasty situations Les.
Towards the end of my 30 years it became the norm sadly. We had violence to staff forms we filled out when this happened at various incidents, nothing got done and we stopped filling the forms in. The Officers in charge patted themselves on the back as the number of complaints went down. They thought they had fixed it doing nothing but telling us to be more tolerant with the youths at every incident, avoid confrontation retreat if felt threatened. I assume it has only got worse. @@RetiredandLivingthedream I Flew as Cabin Crew for 40 years Les. We got Police Breakaway training in the last 8 years, as air rage became more prevalent.

Thanks for your kind words, I herd this for many years from many of my friends, exactly as you say but sadly I think it will snow in Thailand 1st. I tried was patient and waited and waited but they never were willing to talk. The door is always open but life goes on. 🙏🙏

Les, you're a prime example of how a husband/father can get the piss beaten out of him, and yet still rise above it all....sad that your ex and daughters still blame you for where they are in life..."choices have consequences".
Hi and thanks for your comment, I was always blamed for everything, my kids blamed me for their mum being poor even though she had 300 pounds a month more than me with no Debts and she only had to work 16 hrs a week to claim benefits and still they complained it was all my fault. I could go on and on but it is water under the bridge now. Life goes on. Thanks for taking time to comment.🙏
How do you deal with the heat? Does it make you want to move?
The Heat is ok I would sooner sit Infront of a fan all day than sit in the cold with the heating on. My Electric bill this month is 15 pounds It is hot and sweaty for 3 months of the year, it is cold in the UK for 9 months of the year. Give me the heat anytime.
The United States is a mess now too. Costs, violence, politics and racism has made it unbearable for me. Looking for Thailand for my retirement in a few years.
It would appear the wealthy country's are all having the same issues as you describe. Thailand is a wise move. Best wishes.

I need some consultation. first question before we go any further do I need a travel visa to enter Thailand or they allow me 30 days without a travel visa ,then in Thailand, consultation needed whether it’s you or recommended people be willing to pay for legal service paperwork within reason by professionals only recommended services from trusted youTuber as yourself who am I trust to be real people you understand what I mean. You can enter Thailand with a 30 day exemption visa then extend it for another 30 days, ( unless you live in a Country Thailand needs a visa on entry ) most country's are 30 exempt.
