    Instant relief, no JOKE. I have never had a pinched nerve before. Young twenty's and a Latin dancer. I have been inactive as of late, mixed with extra stress, poor sleep, and lower water intake-- I developed this very painful tension. I can no longer be dipped while dancing I FEAR because of the pain. While I'm a relatively flexible person, it's taken an intense toll on me and daily life. I attempted to dip myself today and I felt I immediately injured myself and came directly to TH-cam to find help videos.

    I had numbness in my tip of my pinky finger and was researching that I could go back to neck pain, and I had a neck injury earlier in the week that I’ve been trying to stretch out so it made sense to me that my neck was probably the cause of the numbness. Doing these exercises, the numbness went away while doing the exercises. I noticed as well that I did not have a lot of flexibility in the neck where I can’t fully get into each pose. So this tells me this is likely the problem. I also felt localized pain in the neck where I could feel that I don’t have my full range of motion available. Thank you so much for making this video because I think working on my posture and keeping my neck and upper spine flexible will resolve my numbness pain and create space for any pinched nerve

      @mwj5368 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@alexwilliams147 Hi Alex! I sleep like you, upright as presently the more pressure to my upper back the worse the pain gets. For me it's my left arm going from my neck vertebra and about 4 inches down my left shoulder. I am left handed if that's a reason. I relieve the pain with a neck pad/collar I bought at a drug store. With collar on I lean just my head way over away from my left shoulder where the pressure of my pad kind of cantilevers the weight of my head and I cause a slight traction. All I know is that relieves the pain. I do know my disk has degenerated, rated "severe", at the bottom-most C6/C7 vertebra and I think it's also the C4/C5 vertebra disk too. I also have stenosis or narrowing of the nerve pathways laterally out my spine thus effecting my left arm nerves. That has been for many years and with PT exercises of the past and Tai Chi I eliminated the pain, only I got lazy and didn't do the exercises for 2 or 3 months, returned a few days ago too zealously and wow, a lot of pain. Really though it was amazing at first today doing these exercises and an hour later feeling much better. I took a nap for 1.5 hrs and it all came back. I sleep upright on my couch with a set of $200 of four cushions I bought a few months ago that you can arrange in various ways. I sleep upright yet partially reclined and not sure if that's a good idea or not. Hope I helped. Are you doing the exercises? Have the worked for you?

Shooting pain down my arm has thankfully almost disappeared.

      I am a person who believes in science and all the information we have points towards human beings evolving without the help of some super being.
      My idea of Jesus is a man who today would be called a cupt leader who had brainwashed people into believing he was the son of God. His followers then stole the body from the tomb and then Chinese whispers began about seeing him around and he is alive.
      We can not believe a book that was wrote by man then amended again by man, humans beings have used the name of God to kill millions of people of in history to control people. Once it was Gods not God they choose to use against people and one God for each thing so they had all the basis covered but then Christianity became so popular they decided to to adopt this as their way to control. The church were in power for decades in the times of kings like king Henry and so on and they were so cruel they even invented the torture of purification.
      So please keep this mad man called jesus out of our normal lives as we know now better but sadly thus cult has grown so far even after the cult leader has been dead for 1000s of years people still believe lol.

I respect all religions because they teaches us how to behave with others souls. But some people very emotional about their religious they disrespect others religious I believe only language is different but they teaches us same how to make our self truthful. This is so helpful and it does work. Thank you so much !! Quick question - should we do these exercises only if when we have pinched nerve or can we also do it daily to prevent it from happening again. Please let me know.

    Thanks Jared, pretty sure I have a pinched nerve in my neck which causes pain to run down my left arm, but after these exercises I felt so much relief and less pain. Going to start doing them daily. Keep doing what you're doing, you've helped hundreds of thousands of people.

      Same here. I went to the er just to be sure and they did bloods and testing on my heart said it was great and I have a pinched nerve. I’ve been dealing with this for 2 months now since picking up my daughter.

    Complained to MD re shoulder-> arm pain and they said “oh”. Month later, it’s the entire arm to wrist. Just tried these exercises and I’m astounded. One round and I feel movement toward relief?! Going to keep going and check out your other videos re posture. Definitely want to prevent this once better. Much gratitude 💜

    Just found your exercises this morning as I was looking for some to do that will alleviate occipital nerve pain. It’s SO hard to sleep at night! These stretching exercises feel really good, but will they help my occipital pain?
    Thanks so much!

      It might be due to your bed being too soft, Have you tried an orthopaedic mattress? They’re firm and soooo good for your back

    I want to thank you for the great explanation on the nerves of the neck. I have adopted the exercises you describe in this video for the last 3 days and the very uncomfortable pain in those vertebra has almost disappeared. The wall exercise has been a breakthrough for me in getting rid of this type of pain. Again, thank you very much.
