i have no words to describe how happy i am , haha.
i was struggling for weeks, never mind few months if i recall and man it was such a pain in the ass, i couldn't sit on chair for few minutes, i couldn't tilt my head down, i couldn't look left nor right,
and yesterday, i tried the sleeping method, it did feel uncomfortable, and little pain? while i was laying down, but i slept like a baby, when i woke up, the pain was drastically reduced.
my sincere thankyou , i feel at peace.

I had a bad experience with this orthopedic pillow. The problem was that you need to sleep on the thin side during sleep on the back and for sleeping on the side you need the thick side of pillow. And I sleep in different position during the night. When I was using this pillow for a years, instead fof feel refreshed I woke up with neck pain very often. And didn't understand why because all chiropractors recommends it for good health as you. When I tried to common thin pillow its feels so much better for spine and neck. I don't have so much headache anymore neither neck pain. So I think this pillow is too high for normal position and oposite put your head up as well like a thick pillow. Roll pillow seems better.

Hi Jon, sleeping on my back with no pillow just a thin towel roll under my neck has been a great help for relief from the bone spurs in my neck, also a fairly flat pillow under the towel roll. I had two cushions under my knees and pillows at each side for my arms. I’ve had four night in a row now without the nerve pain going down my arms. Thank you, you are doing great work with these videos and they are very appreciated!😊

Great video! Do you have any recommendations for specific pillow brands? I've tried a towel under my neck, and I've tried a pillow under my knees, but gave up on both because the neck towel caused the blood to rush to my head, and after about 30 mins, my legs would go numb from the knee pillow. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but knowing what kind of pillows I should get might help. Thanks so much!

However the numbness has my back pain along with shoulder. I have had numbnes in my right side of face that would last the whole day unless i take meds. Or rest on my cervical pillow which helps to release that numbness.

Thank you for this video. I have this problem and in addition I have a previous injury to my rotator cuff on the same side. So no side sleep at all because the lying on the unaffected side immediately makes the right side go numb, dead asleep. Lying on my back very long and the left side of my neck causes numbness in my ear, top of head, and face. My bed is very cushiony so most times I don't use a pillow at all. I have been doing heavy lifting and labor jobs for 25 years so I think it's all catching up with me.

You also might need to address cervical hypermobility which causes Instability. So many many physicians know little to nothing about this. I was diagnosed by my Orthopedic doctor. In this case sleeping well, even though beyond wonderful, most likely wont allow this to heal. This is from my experience and 5 years of research.

@@drjonsaunders thanks for citing your older video. It's best, in my view, to bring up Cervical Instability for every video like the one in 'How to Sleep.' It's been an absolute nightmare in me getting from a pain scale of 9 out of 10 to a 2-5 out of Ten, daily. I had to resort to Reddit forums to lead me to any real qualitative help. Cervical problems that cause pinch nerves and/or arteries is what I was and still am experiencing. Reddit lead me Cymbalta and Dry Needling which got this pain down to the lower levels. Nothing and I mean nothing else has helped. Chiropractic Biophysics folk have helped a little bit but no other Chiropractic Methodology has worked at all. I mean Zero and I've been to a ton of chiropractors including the chiropractor orthogonal! You mentioned prolotherapy. I've had, in the last three weeks, Prolotherapy with PRP in my Cervical Facets in an attempt to strengthen the joints to reduce the excessive motion. Evidently it can be 6 months to a year for resolution if at all. Also may need a second round which I may get which is very expensive. Only reason why I am posting is just for public awareness and health of others.

I have neck arthritis, I have a pinched nerve for the last two years somewhere in my neck. I had a x-ray done two years ago, and it said I had bone spurs, I had something with the facet joints, and narrowing of the disc space and mild degenerative disease. I’ve been dealing with this for that long. I’m wondering if having issues like this can cause these few things? Sharp head pains in one spot that come and go almost on a daily basis just above my right temple in my scalp. A weird tingling type numbness sensation on the right side of my face near my mouth, which makes my beard hair feel prickly, that comes and goes as well on a near deli basisand lightheadedness? Afraid to go to a doctor because I’m afraid that they’re going to find something seriously wrong. It’s gotten to the point where I need to see a neck specialist, or a spine specialist and I will be doing that in a month. Thank you for any input.

I bought one of those pillows about a year ago and it caused shooting pain down both my arms. I can’t have anything touching the area between the base of my head and my neck or it exacerbates the pain so when I see this trying to put the pillow on my neck, I don’t understand because I can’t do that. Desperate for some relief on steroids getting a second MRI is now I think the disk is definitely herniated bulging. The nerve pain is everywhere it’s debilitating.

I feel relief in my neck, if I lay down on the side and the affected side of my neck (left) is up. However, I cannot find position for my left arm, in which it would not hurt. The pain in the arm eventually becomes so bad, I have to give up and lay on my back again. But I can´t fall asleep laying on my back, so I have been sleeping really badly lately.

Ive tried the rounded pillow, even though i tend to sleep on my stomach, (habit i picked up 50 years ago after having babies.) i start in right position, but end up on my stomach, and dont ask me where my head ends up😂 will try your method, but heres hoping.....

    Question! 😊
I’m seeing my chiropractor for a pinched nerve in the brachial plexus.
However, it is definitely coming from a massive knot at the top of my right shoulder, which has been there for a very long time, and progressively got worse, into this.
It feels like concrete when trying to release it.
Will a massage therapist be able to get the job done?

Hello doc, plss i beg don't ignore this msg.. I'm in great depression due to my neck condition it has been started from lockdown and now it's been 4 years.. I got a pinched nerve in neck initially the pain and everything was in neck but now there's only burning sensation in neck but every tingling, numbness and weakness in my hand even to my small finger.. I'm only 18 year old and took an x ray scan and the doc told there's no problem but i didnt take mri.. My vit D, B levels are also good.. I'm hopeless sir could u pls tell me how to get rid of it.. I have seen your videos about pinched nerve stretches with our hand but when i do it i get a shooting pain throughout the hand and the source region(neck)when i stretch my hands so should i continue doing it although i feel pain anyway i feel relieved after doing those stretches so it's better to continue right??.. Lockdown days i used to watch phone in a bad posture that caused me this chronic condition.. And it's not going away.. I get intermittent weakness tingling every day especially when i hold even small objects like phone.. I sleep on my stomach but wake up with no problem but when i sleep on side i woke up with numb hands same in back sleeping as i unconsciously shift my position and put hand in a stressed position.. Is stomach sleeping so bad although it isn't causing me any problem in the morning.. My neck is kinda stretched when i stomach sleep but have no pain in morning.. When this condition started my neck makes cracking sounds while stretching it was unusual for me before.. I am doing pushups to strengthen the area.. Anyother exercise or videos or anything to suggest doc(I am correcting my posture) I'm desperate this is affecting my daily life😭.. Is this permanent and is surgery the only resort? Because internet says like that as my condition is for 4years. Pls help
