It's one of the first movies I remember seeing. Though it was on VHS.
That stealth level is where we boys became men 😂😂 💯
The Oscorp levels are the most fun when you get good at them.
The one thing that I wasn't crazy about was how you basically stop fighting goons after you defeat Shocker. From that point on, it's pretty much just supervillains and robots.
One of my favorite things about this game was playing thru the campaign as Green Goblin and the plot of the game becomes different with almost everyone having exclusive voice lines if you play as GG. I can recall even now the scene of Shocker telling his boys not to worry because they're in the sewers now and GG can't fly around on his glider.
The goofy voice acting is great. I love the voice lines the thugs say.

This game is the best Spider-Man game in terms of bonus content. Levels were slightly randomized making each play through different, costumes & playable characters that changed the narrative of the game. Wish more games were like this.
The first time I got to play as the goblin in this game blew my mind
My favorite thing about the game is the boss fights and the cheat codes.

I got this game and a PS2 for my birthday when I was 5 or 6 in 2005 / 2006 with some boxing video game

I have the Xbox version of this game, so I have played the Kraven levels. They're decent enough. The first level, Kraven's Test requires you to dodge much of the traps Kraven has set, and Kraven himself as he tries to snipe you. The boss battle with Kraven is interesting as well, as he will drink a potion every so often to make him invincible, requiring you to keep your distance until the potion wears off. Both levels involve Spidey being poisoned, which is another obstacle to overcome.

If you look closely at this game and the PS1 games ( based on the animated series ) that came out 2 years prior, you'll notice that most of animations assets and gameplay style is same ! Even camera mangement. But it is just updated a bit.
Because the PSX games defined so well how a Spider-Man game should behavior, they needed to do a licensed game for the movie that plays the same so it would be for sure a sucessfull game !
That's not why they reused the animations from the PS1 game lol. They had a very limited time frame to make the movie game, and reusing the swinging and the combat (while adding some combos) controls and animation was the easiest way to keep the game on schedule.

thid game aged well and i stil move it
the cheat codes, the levels, the soundtracks, the voice acting
it aged well better than SM 3 the game
and it didn't even had an open world system
the new green goblin mod
the bowling level is one of my favorite activities in this game
the soundtracks that plays in this level is amazing
i just don't understand why the kraken levels weren't one the ps2 version

@@LoneWolfXP ah. 🙂 well you sort of hands sneak preview, as this first movie game *in terms of the gameplay style* was more based on those ps1 games *which those were loosely based on the 1994 animated series 🙂 but overall good review, I enjoy this game, as for the gba version, it's okay*
