@Mister Majestic Yeah a lot of models in this game are more detailed. There are some better overall looking scenes in SM2 but lots of things individually, look a lot nicer here. Animations are more fluid in the second game though, and at least the Gamecube and Xbox versions had some nice lighting and other effects that weren't present in the first.

This was incredible! Brought back tons of memories. You even talked about the UFO Easter egg! YES! This game gets even crazier with the things that could’ve been: There was a multiplayer build in the game that got cut during development There was going to be a level where you save people from a burning building (Much like in the movie) but it got cut due to the September 11th attacks The game’s files suggest there was a planned “Character gallery” where Spider-Man gives a cheesy description of all the characters in the game including Aunt May (She’s only seen in a photograph once) The E3 Build of the game had a different game over screen which shows Jameson throwing your failure on the front page of the Daily Bugle headline Betty Brant never appears in this game but storyboard suggest she was supposed to be in the same “Kraven/Jameson cutscene” Spider-Man having web shooters were in a early cut of the movie which is why I believe the blue gauge depletes when he uses a web I know this is a lot but I just love these games to death! They hold a special place in my heart and I’m so glad someone is giving the games justice! Thank you for this wonderful video!
Thank you for sharing those details, I didn’t know about those!!! A multiplayer mode is really interesting, although I can’t imagine it would’ve been good lol
I always liked when Kraven legitimately laughed at Spider-Man’s Siegfried and Roy chirp. The best interpretations of Kraven aren’t as a straight villain, but rather someone who views Spider-Man as a rival or ultimate prey.
I’m from Russia and got this game on my sixth birthday in 2002 from my dad. It was the first game that I had truly owned and played any video game by myself. I was absolutely fascinated with the game, because graphics looked sooo good, and the music is very dramatic and fits Danny Elfman’s music so well! But the boss fights and stealth missions were very difficult for me at my age. The funny thing is that this game also caused my first bit of troubleshooting! You see, in Russia in 2002 there were almost no official releases of video games. I believe that Spider-Man 1 The Game was never officially released. But dad bought me a pirated version with the russian translation built in. And it had a huge problem - after finishing the Vulture’ Tower level the game would 100% always crash and there was no way to progress any further. I was essentially stuck! Man, I remember crying of frustration hahaha Me and my dad decided take a look at the game files and this was the first time I even learned the concept of files and file directories. Eventually we found additional files that would patch the game to run russian subtitles, and we deleted them. That would also cause save files to get erased, so this would mean that I’d have to start the game over again with the original english language. So that was also my first experience with the english language hahaha But this time I could progress through the Tower level and complete the game on all difficulties afterwards. Overall, I still have fond memories and love this game. Considering that the developers had only 18 months and only a few script reading sessions that they had to essentially memorize in their head, I think the game turned out to be a fantastic experience. If only they didn’t screw up with the PC-version of Spider-Man 2 (that was my first video game related disappointment, but it’s a story for another time…)
That’s so interesting but such an unfortunate struggle just to finish the game. That’s frustrating but I’m glad you were able to beat it! Your dad also sounds awesome for going to such lengths to let play it!
i remember playing this when i was like 5, i couldn't even get beyond the chrysler building (begining building) because i didn't know how to shoot a web lol. But sometimes i could and after that i forgot how to. Well it's childhood lol.
@@fynnthefox9078 also in Spider-Man 2 after beating rhino and webbing him upside down: “sorry to leave you hanging, Rhino, but I don’t want to be accused of poaching.” Then he grabs Rhino’s sharp horn: “I think the police should be able to handle you at this point”
@@Albino_Basilisk his delivery of that line wasn’t good tho. But Tobey maguire’s voice acting in these games made it seem like he didn’t want to put much effort into it.
I think the common complaint is how he doesn’t make ANY jokes at all which isn’t the case, rather he rarely has quips but in the movie games they’re common
Such a great trip down memory lane. 100% agree that this game is worth it just to simply experience the Harry-Green Goblin playable character. It's features like this which will always place this game near the top when I rate my favorite spidey games.
Used to love this game as a kid! Just an FYI, in the part where you're going down the tunnel towards Shocker you're supposed to free aim web zip to each section to avoid him!
or just super flip jump forward three times then make a WEB DOME as cover then do it all over again for 4x then finally web zip towards shocker when he's near enough, ZERO DAMAGE. 🤣
I wanna say that the cutscenes and lighting in the former and levels themselves still make the game look beautiful in places, especially when Spider-Man is in Norman's office. A lot of cool creativity went into this game. The music is phenomenal too.
Interesting tidbit is that Peter’s main combos and the web shield are taken directly from the Neversoft Spider-Man games, animations and all. Not just inspired, but completely lifted from them. It’s a really interesting thought to me
When I played against shocker I used the web zip ability and when I was younger it glitched and it latched onto him so I didn't even have to go through the tunnels and it automatically made me get to him almost immediately lmao
There actually is a dodge ability in this game, you need to play with the "enhanced" controls and then hold a direction on the d-pad and press jump. (like using the web attacks) This allows you to perform directional dodge jumps olls. They're a bit tricky to effectively insert into standard combat gameplay, but they work really well in certain boss fights like with Shocker, and Green Goblin. While Directional jumps are just plain fun to use in the Shocker fight, they really shine in the Goblin fight, as you can interrupt most of Goblins combos by dodging mid combo regardless of whether you're being hit by the combo or not. This also makes it easier to avoid Goblins grab attack, and makes it easier to be more aggressive with melee in general as opposed to relying solely on web attacks. There are also directional punchs and kicks, they're quite neat too. (Not very powerful, but they add more depth to the combat system)
This is my favorite depiction of Shocker from all the games and movies that have had him. Michael Beattie's voice just fits shocker and his look so well and his tough ass thug lines.
I remember the boss fight against Vulture soo well. During my first playthrough as a kid I had the soundtrack of Star Wars Episode 3 and I remember I would play „Duel of Fates“ while fighting against the Vulture on the skyscraper. Little 6-year old me thought that it was so epic that I played it over and over again. Good times.
For a 2002 game, the graphics featured here are amazing. Hell, I think they aged better than Spider-Man 2. Also Scorpion's design is suspiciously similar to his design from the PS1 Game, it's possible they got far enough into development for the PS1 port they had a Scorpion model and incorporated it here.
As a kid this and the PS1 game were my first introductions to Scorpion, so I was a bit confused when I saw the green version in comics and the cartoon, which I didn't like as much
Hard agree with the graphics. I think part of that is due to the character's faces. In the first game, most reoccurring characters wear some sort of mask while in the sequel quite a few wear nothing ( like Doc Ock). Just my hypothesis through.
@@liamschermer7901 I think it has more to do with the second game being open world so they had to dial down the graphics somewhat to keep the performance smooth
Majority of PS2 games from 2001-2002 had better graphics than their succesors. I can name a few other game series other than Spider-Man, like Jak and Daxter>Jak 2 and 3, GTA 3 and VC>SA and LCS, WWE SYM>HCTP. The older games felt more 3D. It probably cost more or something.
@@alissa6 All those games have one thing in common, their sequels were much bigger in scale whilst being on the same platform as their predecessors so graphics had to suffer somewhat because the technology would crumble under the weight of the increased scale of the game if the graphical fidelity was exactly the same as the previous games which were much smaller and had less content overall
i miss some aspects of dedication and passion in these games that we’ll probably never gonna get anytime soon in the future the fact that you can PLAY as the green goblin with his own mechanics and movement system just shows how much they cared, they didn’t HAVE to do it, but it’s nice that they did anyway
42:16 technically was meant for everyone to play, kids especially. I mostly played that game when it came out on the PS2 and he wanted you to take a break that’s why he said go outside and play. Basically the game was telling us like it’s a story like how it began. I like it the fact that he wanted you to take a break and go outside and get some fresh air that was the kind of thing to do back in the days in 2000s
I actually first heard this kind of thing in the SpongeBob movie game. The end cutscene ends with the French Narrator saying “Now go outside and get some Sun. You look awfully pale”. Lol must’ve been use a lot
It used to be that kids spent most of their time playing outside with other kids in their neighborhood, riding bikes, playing sports and games, exploring the world. Now spending all of your time indoors playing video games, staring at smart phones or tablets, and watching streamed video is just normal.
I remember 16:08 of the shocker mission being very difficult as a young kid however, my 7 year old brain kicked in when I was in school and realized that if you use "Web Dome" you couldn't get hurt from shocker's blast attacks and since you get blue spiders to replenish your webs made the encounter much easier
I think it was this game that made me love Willem Defoe’s Goblin laugh so much. I remember being so young that I had to rely on the cheat codes to get through the game lol
This is genuinely an amazing gift to me this holiday season. I love this game and will go on record saying this is my favorite movie video game. Something about how the hits land, the natural inclusion of the other villains, and it all just feels…spectacular
The reason Spider-Man has a web metre is for two reasons: 1. The 2000 Spider-Man game used it. 2. Originally Peter would have used web shooters, but they scrapped it later on.
Getting to Shocker is made significantly easier because there’s actually a dedicated web zip mechanic, I can’t remember the controls but it’s definitely explained in the tutorial section of the main menu
Yeah I just kept zipping on walls instead of the openings when I tried that, so I was getting blasted either way. It totally could just be me being uncoordinated though lol
@@alwaysnerdyretros There is a manual aimer that lets you point a spider icon at exactly where you want to web zip to. It makes that section so much easier.
53:09 Fun fact this bowling alley is in Spider-Man 2. I didn’t know it was in this game which would explain why it’s so detailed. Although there aren’t any activities to act on as far as I’m aware of. It’s just a building you can enter labeled in green around the bottom of the map under Central Park
@@alwaysnerdyretros I just double checked it’s actually one of the red marked map areas it’s the only bowling ally in the game and it makes me wonder if they were planning on putting some Minnie game there

I actually still have this game at my parents house. I went through it again a few years ago when I had become a much more skilled gamer than I used to be…. But I never in my life knew you could play as the green goblin
You should definitely give it another play through as goblin! There’s a pretty easy way to use cheats to get him immediately. I found it when googling the cheats for the game
In the shocker level with the tunnels, you're supposed to aim and web zip to each of the safe areas. PS: also with scorpion, the reason the flamethrower hurts him so much is probably because the DPS is tied into how many frames are being run. The emulator you're using is running the game at a higher fps than it was meant to be so it kinda makes some things in the game run a little weird.
Fun fact about some of the music. A lot of the orchestral stuff is actually from an old sample library, east west symphonic adventures. Specifically, scorpions boss theme is just made of multiple of these loops chained together. The creepy piano that plays can be heard across a crap ton of media during the 90s and early 2000s.
I love this game it literally walked so Spider-Man 2 could run so much nostalgia in this one from the cutscenes and the voice acting even looks better than 2 and 3 in some ways. Love these retrospectives you go deep into the games not many do and show a bunch of cool stuff I never knew!
Great video as always! The refilling your webs mechanic could also be left overs from the original movie script, since Tobey almost had web shooters. You can even spot them in a trailer, as well as in the film after Spider-Man sets MJ down on that random building (after the parade attack).
I always thought when it was shown when he sets MJ down, that it wasn't a web "shooter" but more of a tube so his web could make it through his costume, like water through a garden hose
@@pyroblade452 a pretty good theory, however that’s the only scene in the film where he has those web shooters, and it’s also not present in the suits from the 2nd and 3rd movie
You know what I’m gonna say. Great video! One of my favorite Spider-Man games, getting to play as the green goblin blew my mind as a kid. The creativity and extra content put into this game made it special even among its era. Looking forward to Edge of Time!
Fantastic job, man. I had no idea about the MJ “controversy”. And I never went back to play as Goblin. Thanks for all your hard work and in-depth research.
I never knew they took MJ cheat out of later releases either. I have decent memories of doing MJ runs despite playing as Goblin 99% of the time. Still have the disc, just haven't had space to set up my PS2 in years.
24:20 he does return in the 3rd game, but I think that's a very different take on him. Regarding the web cartridges, the original idea was to have them in the film. Tobey is actually wearing them in two scenes.
I’m really impressed by how well those shitty early-2000s pre rendered cutscenes capture the feeling of not just the camerawork, but the aesthetic and sound of Sam Raimi’s movies. They genuinely do fit really well, even more so than the (in-engine AND pre rendered) cutscenes in the game for 2.
Still to this day, this is one of my all time favourite spider-man games. I've played it since release and still never bored of it. The addition of the green goblin was amazing- something that no other spiderman game has done and left me wanting.
This is so odd, this was uploaded 2 days ago, literally the day I found a working copy, reinstalled and replayed this game after almost 13 years. Like the stars somehow lined up. Nice review dude, this game was one of the few that made up my childhood, I always get excited seeing people talk about it
For the more difficult sections of the game, there’s a strategy you can use entailing web-zipping in specified directions by using the R3, L3 and R1 buttons. First, you go into a free look-style mode by pressing R3, where you’ll notice a small red spider reticle. Second, you move the R3 button around to a certain spot you can web-zip to, during which it will change from red to green. Last, when you’ve moved the reticle to a point you want to zip to, press R1 and away you go. This works well for the “Showdown with Shocker” and parts of the “Chemical Chaos” levels.
I'll never forget the first time I played the Oscorp stealth missions. They scared the crap out of me. Nowadays, I don't have any problem with them, and I would even screw around on them. Great video overall. This is a Spider-Man game that truly doesn't get the attention it deserves. Like you said, the Green Goblin would probably be the biggest selling point in terms of what makes the game unique.
I absolutely love Spider-Man on the PS1 to the point where I literally bought it on the Dreamcast and N64 as well and to this day it's still my absolute favorite Spider-Man game, its sequel was not as good but was still enjoyable as well. I'm guessing they knew that the movie was in production with the Green Goblin as the villain because he's not featured in the first or second game despite being Spider-Man's arch-nemesis. However because the Spider-Man movie game is essentially just a more polished version of the PS1 games in terms of gameplay I always looked at it as an unofficial third entry to that series since we finally got the Green Goblin in a 3D Spider-Man game with that same style of Gameplay as the previous two. I've always loved the Spider-Man games and all the ones from Spider-Man 2000 up to Spider-Man 2 (2004) will always hold a special Nostalgic place in my heart.
46:15 Another one of the reasons is probably because this game is based on a earlier verison of the movie's script in which originally Peter had web shooters, and it even made its way into some trailers and some "blink and you miss it" moments in the final film.
I grew up with this, and eventually Shattered Dimensions, and trust me, this game is leagues ahead of Shattered Dimensions. Shattered Dimensions looks pretty boring anyway, once the flair wears off.
During the Razors Edge level, instead of fighting the razor bats, try to find a low building, and battle the first wave on your way there. Once you only have a couple left, land on the rooftop and lock onto the last ones and destroy them. When the next wave spawns in, it will lock on automatically. Shoot advanced impact web at it and it will kill that wave of them in one hit
46:04 I think Treyarch went this route because early in the films production, Sam was originally going to use web shooters but ultimately instead to go with organic webbing.
This and a scooby do game we’re my first ever games for the Xbox when I got it for my birthday. I remember staying stuck in the oscorp level for the longest time until I finally beat it and moved on to pass the game. I had no idea the kraven the hunter level was an extra level for the Xbox version only!
I played this game quite a bit when I was young. When I heard you could play as the Green Goblin I figured it was just a skin and ignored it for a while, but once I tried it out I played the game multiple times over, had well over double the playtime that I did as Spiderman and never went back to him. Green Goblin was perfect to me
16:15 i don't know if it wasn't in early versions, but in this section there is a zip mechanic, you could zip to the other corners without having to swing your way to it, that's what i remembered doing ^^ it was easier and faster
I remember having this as a kid and replaying the first two levels and tutorial over and over. Also remember being terrified of the stealth mission and the giant weapon.
Fun fact: The voice actor for Vulture is Dwight Shultz, the same voice actor who played Mung Daal from the Chowder cartoon and Dr. Animo from the Ben 10 series. He was also captain Howling Mad Murdock from the 90's A team TV show.
I loved this game! Its really cool hearing Josh Keaton do spiderman lines (as the green goblin) prior to him actually voicing spiderman in spectacular spiderman!
I love that you did this forgotten game! I have a vivid memory of staying home with my older brother in maybe like 05 or 06 playing this game with him and him making us burntish blueberry pancakes 😭. This video took me back so thanks
You have a lot more tolerance than I do. That vulture lair level drove me nuts, and I can only imagine how frustrated I would be with those stealth levels. My personal recommendation for this game is the same as X2: Wolverine's Revenge on the same consoles: Just enter the god mode cheat codes, play the silly bonus content, watch the cutscenes, and skip the levels you don't like.
X2 kinda sucks but it does feel rewarding when you beat the levels legitimately. Magneto without cheats is a worthy challenge, like Wolverine fighting Magneto in real life.
I remember playing this game a lot in my childhood. Moreover, I had an Xbox version with Kraven, so when replayed this game on PC my question was: “Where the hell is Kraven?”. And I didn’t use the Internet at that time. It feels like Treyarch saw Spider Man 2000, because the combat system is familiar, but they had to do this game as an adaptation for the movie. Therefore I feel they didn’t have enough time to polish the game (sometimes it was extremely difficult, especially with bombs, going up the tower and stealth missions) and make more own ideas. But I still like this game. It’s not one of the best SM games and not one of the worst (in my opinion, of course). Thanks a lot for making me remember this game after a long time and congratulations on SM No Way Home, I hope you saw it, ‘cause I did and liked it!)

You can also use the Punch Button or Kick Button to do directional Punches/Kicks like elbowing an Enemy behind You or doing a Kick to the side. Animations are more fluid in the second game though, and at least the Gamecube and Xbox versions had some nice lighting and other effects that weren't present in the first.
Glad I'm not the only one lol
Spidey’s costume looks slicker in this game compared to the sequel. The web designs on his costume are darker in this one.
@@lesterbronson2385 Yes very true, I think the details held on on this model the best. Art direction in general really. SM3s washy look took away from the advancements made from SM1&2
@Mister Majestic exactly
This was incredible! Brought back tons of memories. You even talked about the UFO Easter egg! YES!
This game gets even crazier with the things that could’ve been:
There was a multiplayer build in the game that got cut during development
There was going to be a level where you save people from a burning building (Much like in the movie) but it got cut due to the September 11th attacks
The game’s files suggest there was a planned “Character gallery” where Spider-Man gives a cheesy description of all the characters in the game including Aunt May (She’s only seen in a photograph once)
The E3 Build of the game had a different game over screen which shows Jameson throwing your failure on the front page of the Daily Bugle headline
Betty Brant never appears in this game but storyboard suggest she was supposed to be in the same “Kraven/Jameson cutscene”
Spider-Man having web shooters were in a early cut of the movie which is why I believe the blue gauge depletes when he uses a web
I know this is a lot but I just love these games to death! They hold a special place in my heart and I’m so glad someone is giving the games justice! Thank you for this wonderful video!
Thank you for sharing those details, I didn’t know about those!!! A multiplayer mode is really interesting, although I can’t imagine it would’ve been good lol
At least that explains the Web Shooters thing. It's so funny to learn new things about a Movie 20 years later.
I guess technically, multiplayer mode still shows up in the game via "Pinhead Bowling" but that's a bit of a stretch to say
I Love it when you say “though” tho
This was super interesting. Thanks for sharing!
Man, I remember crying of frustration hahaha
Me and my dad decided take a look at the game files and this was the first time I even learned the concept of files and file directories. Eventually we found additional files that would patch the game to run russian subtitles, and we deleted them.
That would also cause save files to get erased, so this would mean that I’d have to start the game over again with the original english language. So that was also my first experience with the english language hahaha
But this time I could progress through the Tower level and complete the game on all difficulties afterwards.
Your dad sounds like the coolest
Dang I wonder who went through all the work to translate the game lol

For anyone who thinks Tobey doesn't make enough jokes in the trilogy, his jokes in the games are pretty great
Yessss!
Also, Spider-Man 2: "Here's your change!"
@@fynnthefox9078 also in Spider-Man 2 after beating rhino and webbing him upside down: “sorry to leave you hanging, Rhino, but I don’t want to be accused of poaching.”
Then he grabs Rhino’s sharp horn:
“I think the police should be able to handle you at this point”
@@Albino_Basilisk his delivery of that line wasn’t good tho. But Tobey maguire’s voice acting in these games made it seem like he didn’t want to put much effort into it.
I think the common complaint is how he doesn’t make ANY jokes at all which isn’t the case, rather he rarely has quips but in the movie games they’re common
"what's wrong quentin? Something wrong with your laser? I heard there are pills you can take for that"

The goblin Inclusion was so cool. That would be a 19.99 DLC these days
I wanna say that the cutscenes and lighting in the former and levels themselves still make the game look beautiful in places, especially when Spider-Man is in Norman's office. A lot of cool creativity went into this game. The music is phenomenal too.

So fucking true man . I am played it on PC and PS 2 . Wish I had the XBox version too.
Interesting tidbit is that Peter’s main combos and the web shield are taken directly from the Neversoft Spider-Man games, animations and all. Not just inspired, but completely lifted from them. It’s a really interesting thought to me
It looks pretty solid still sorta fun
Even in Insomniac's Spidey game, they threw in a couple of the classic moves as a reference to these ones.
They were probably given the engine similar to the way Treyarch gave the Spider-Man 3 engine to Shaba to make web of shadows
When I played against shocker I used the web zip ability and when I was younger it glitched and it latched onto him so I didn't even have to go through the tunnels and it automatically made me get to him almost immediately lmao
Oh that’s cool! I bet there are speed runners who use that glitch too lol
I remember I use to do that on my gamecube. That and defeating Vulture easily by webbing him while in the air.
There actually is a dodge ability in this game, you need to play with the "enhanced" controls and then hold a direction on the d-pad and press jump. (like using the web attacks) This allows you to perform directional dodge jumps
olls.
Michael Beattie's voice just fits shocker and his look so well and his tough ass thug lines.
i like that he's talking shit to spider-man on his level instead of just being an idiot .
Facts I agree
@@alissa6 All those games have one thing in common, their sequels were much bigger in scale whilst being on the same platform as their predecessors so graphics had to suffer somewhat because the technology would crumble under the weight of the increased scale of the game if the graphical fidelity was exactly the same as the previous games which were much smaller and had less content overall
i miss some aspects of dedication and passion in these games that we’ll probably never gonna get anytime soon in the future
the fact that you can PLAY as the green goblin with his own mechanics and movement system just shows how much they cared, they didn’t HAVE to do it, but it’s nice that they did anyway

This is genuinely an amazing gift to me this holiday season. I love this game and will go on record saying this is my favorite movie video game. Something about how the hits land, the natural inclusion of the other villains, and it all just feels…spectacular
The reason Spider-Man has a web metre is for two reasons:

You could also use web domes as get-out-of-jail cards against Shocker's blasts for any mistakes made mid-zip.
Can we all just appreciate Willem Defoe's awesome voice work, dudes a masterclass 👏
Lmao that was the best part and all the cheat codes
The best way to get through the shocker subway part, is to use web dome before his blast hits you. And just keep running straight.
That's what I did.
Josh Kenton’s line with shocker sounds like it was ripped right out of spectacular Spider-Man!
The oscorp levels were my favorite as a kid and I replayed them over and over again
It got me into stealth games (mainly the sly cooper series)
Oh interesting! If that was in the original script that Treyarch read, you’re probably right
I always thought when it was shown when he sets MJ down, that it wasn't a web "shooter" but more of a tube so his web could make it through his costume, like water through a garden hose
@@pyroblade452 a pretty good theory, however that’s the only scene in the film where he has those web shooters, and it’s also not present in the suits from the 2nd and 3rd movie

Thank you!
You know what I’m gonna say. Great video! One of my favorite Spider-Man games, getting to play as the green goblin blew my mind as a kid. The creativity and extra content put into this game made it special even among its era. Looking forward to Edge of Time!
Thank you!!! I had the same reaction to play as goblin as a kid too. Total amazement!
I love that all games from the 2000's had an intro set to ps1 demo disc music.
Nice review dude, this game was one of the few that made up my childhood, I always get excited seeing people talk about it
That’s just the algorithm overlords knowing your every move👀👀👀
Keep the Spider-Man game videos coming out I love them
Definitely! Edge of Time is next :)
46:15 Another one of the reasons is probably because this game is based on a earlier verison of the movie's script in which originally Peter had web shooters, and it even made its way into some trailers and some "blink and you miss it" moments in the final film.
I really appreciate the retrospective series, brings back good memories. Keep up the good work!
Thank you! I’ll keep them coming
34:41 I always found the Green Goblin mask eyes flashing in this cutscene cool.
Man growing up on shattered demensions and looking at all these old spiderman games I really see how far we have come
I grew up with this, and eventually Shattered Dimensions, and trust me, this game is leagues ahead of Shattered Dimensions. Shattered Dimensions looks pretty boring anyway, once the flair wears off.
the music for this game is honestly vastly underrated. So many good epic tunes
Josh Keaton also played Spider-Man in the tv series the spectacular Spider-Man
This game reminds me of my childhood. I remember being in awe of the graphical upgrade from Spiderman on PS1 to the PS2. Such a huge difference.
Usually I just used web domes
46:04 I think Treyarch went this route because early in the films production, Sam was originally going to use web shooters but ultimately instead to go with organic webbing.
It's amazing that at the end of the game, Tobey tells you to go touch grass.
Playing as Goblin was such a cool thing playing when I was 12. As far as I remember this was not advertised, so it was soooo cool to find
This and a scooby do game we’re my first ever games for the Xbox when I got it for my birthday. I remember staying stuck in the oscorp level for the longest time until I finally beat it and moved on to pass the game.
This review was amazing. I love how in depth you go. This game was my childhood, my first ever PS2 game and I've loved Spider-Man ever since!

Yeah, I can see that, considering you just pelted an innocent man with lead and then blew him up to smithereens.
I literally laughed out loud at this part.
