    So I took a year off thanks to Kobe 19 .. and they took down all the rims as well.. they put chains on the gates and set a curfew.. year later I have access to the gym.. and it literally took 2 weeks of just following what this man has to say to get back to a regular 37in vert every jump.. thanks Tyler your the goat

    Omg thank you! I was always trying to push myself as hard as possible but it kept getting lower, stagnant. My max was being able to touch my ceiling and after it I couldn’t do it again. After practicing for 15 minutes I can already touch my ceiling twice. This really lifted me up from the barrier I thought I had reached. Will try to improve!

    You train with intent, but you have to free your mind to perform. Great video, my man. Subscribed.

    I appreciate all you give away for free.. so today I am buying you technique program. I know how to train fro vertical jump and speed. I've been jumping so wrong for so long... It's going to take alot of practice to perfect my technique. Highest I've gotten is around 39-41inches hopefully with this correction and post cut I'll hit my goal of 40-45inches post Achilles tendon injury.

    Great job coach! I only just found your channel recently through a friend and we have been watching your videos and I have to say you explain things really nice and easy to understand. So once thanks for videos and great job.

    Fantastic videos! You should watch Yossiana Pressley from Baylor Vb- she's incredibly fast and her break step is SHARP and POWERFUL!

    So the best way to work on jump mechanics is just to go out and jump while actively thinking about ingraining these tips so that we make muscle memory?

    • @jumpguyty
      @jumpguyty  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yes, but also being okay with working elements of the complete jump independently of each other. Ie. Removing the approach to work on the last couple contacts will build efficiency there, ultimately helping with the overall jump!

    TY! What would you say to the voice in my head that says, “Yeah, ok, so you can jump really high with excellent intent, but good luck doing all this and then hitting a volleyball!”
    Seems like once you introduce the ball, it’s hard to coordinate both jumping and the swing.

      Practice my friend. At the end of the day it's a timing game, so the better feel you have for the way the ball moves combined with a consistent (that's the key), consistent jump, connection comes down to mastering the second half of the equation. Swinging. Like anything else worthy of admiration in this world...it takes time and a shit ton of passion! Good luck!

    Appreciate the content, but all your videos are way too wordy lack conciseness. Additionally you never max jump in your videos , which would be useful for us to see it all together
