The main problem I have is that they didn't explain everything and DIDN'T fully close the time loop. They've changed history in doing what they did. Namely, that the people of Solum don't hate the Federation anymore, and Ilthuran has no reason to go back in time, become The Diviner, and search for the Protostar... which in turn means that Gwyndala was never born! She's still a paradox. Still... this could all be explained if we get a season 3. For now though, it seems like they just completely ignored all of that (even though it was basically the entire focus of season 1), just so they could wrap everything up in a neat little bow, and tie it in with the Picard series. I would've much preferred a cliffhanger that raised these points though.
I have only minor things I disliked about season 2. Wes eyes are weirdly to bright. Will Weathon has standard brown eyes, yet here he has hazel colored eyes. Makes him creepy. Also the mouth movement of the Doctor, Chakotay and Wesley are asynchron during their dialogues. ...Well, ant that was all I have to nag about the second season. Aside from that, is one of the best time jump stories in ST. And I really enjoyed Zero. And I adored how they made Wil Crusher being FINALLY a badass and not a young smartypants.
Love how they tied in the Picard series
Wesley looks dressed to lead his own gang of space brigands.

It would've been great if the Crusher's reunion were live-action.
Animation is just as good as live action. It's another form of storytelling

I was still saying "Shut up Wesley!" and "Dammit Wesley! Can't you do anything right?" more than I thought necessary...
