One thing I have always wondered about with these videoes of the Enterprise B finding the hulk of the original Enterprise and that is when they engaged a tractor beam on the ship why wasn't it mentioned that they should have done a structural scan of the ship first before locking a tractor beam on her I mean with the condition she was in with all that hull damage wouldn't they want to make sure the Enterprise would be able to hold up to being towed like that I mean if I was the captain of the Enterprise B that would be the first order of business to make sure the ship was structurally stable for towing before engaging my ships tractor beam to make absolutely sure the sheering stresses didn't rip the ship apart.
Overall, a very fitting tribute and wish fullfillment for the most beautiful ship in Starfleet. Your love for Trek and the original Enterprise certainly is plain to see, and thank you for remembering Peter Kirk exists! That said, there are areas that could be improved in the video. The most egregious is the wooden, lifeless voice acting. There was no emotion, no passion conveyed. No love for the restored ship in their actions and voices. The animation was slow and clunky. I wasn't sure if people were actually speaking or if we were dealing with voiceovers instead. Still, given your apparent resourses, this was well done. Perhaps given more experience and a better computer setup, you could address the weaknesses in this video. But it is always a beautiful thing to see a ship repaired, manned, and brought to life. Even if it's just to go to her final berth. Kudos, sir.
My only complaint. The voices on this sounded wooden. Great to see the Enterprise rescuing the Enterprise. "All i ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by." Captain James T. Kirk.
That was touching and truly a well deserved ending even if it didn't happen in the movies or following series. Hardest thing to witness next to Spock's death scene. Would love it if in any upcoming series that they did find and give Her a proper decommissioning. To the creator of this, I thank you for making this and giving and giving the Enterprise the homecoming and retirement that was truly deserved. 👍👍
Interesting alternative history of trek, even though Kirk's nephew was never mentioned to be of star fleet, and harroman stayed in command after Kirk's death and sulus daughter took command eventually. Background chi looks great but I will say the characters are like PS1/PS2 Quality it doesn't Mach with the background cgi but I still enjoy this video
It's interesting that the Primary Hull should explode first, followed by the destination of the secondary hull. Although the automaton system is down, followed by the main computer, the engineering backup had just enough control to save The Enterprise and bounce it off the atmosphere of the Genesis Planet and back into space.
Great concept and original thinking! I’ve built several Enterprise refit models over the years. It’s always been my favorite version of the ship. Well done!
Great morning video. Regardless of the negative comments from those who could NOT have produced an improved version, this was very nice. The love of the series and the premise behind it show. Thank you, sir. Great job.
This is a very good work, amazing story, I am glad you take your time to do this piece of art. Please accept my suggestions for a new remake of the video, because it really deserves it: - Hands can be in a more natural position. - Animations can be faster (they walk in slow motion, you can record yourself walking and count the frames of the steps to animate in the same speed). - Heads are small in most of the characters, you can make it bigger. - Most scenes does not have proper illumination, they lack of shadows and natural lighting. Please consider to use global illumination. - Some materials need to be improved, everything looks like a Sony PS2 videogame. Before start a new remake, you can learn to improve your skills. I know is not easy, but, take your time and get better. Again, thank you for making this wonderful piece of art.
🖖😎👍Very cool and very nicely well done and very well executed in every detail way shape and form possibly provided in every format and a very wonderful story line indeed and loved that the Galileo shuttle got her original number 7 back and the crew personnel were a little on the stiff side in their movement's though with very broad shoulders and all the female personnel were all very well indowed in like the double D parameters, Any ways all and all very great job and a wonderful spectacular production indeed!,👌.
The mutinous Enterprise computer disobeyed its final order to self-destruct! There's a reason Starfleet ships have that feature - so that their technology doesn't get captured by the wrong hands and reverse engineered. Luckily Enterprise-B got to it before another faction did, or there could have been serious consequences for the Federation.
Love the video - and I mean LOVE IT. A fitting tribute indeed. The only thing lacking was the voices - Hearing the real actors in there was a major relief - but you did what you could, so I can't fault you.
I always say that menial graphics and a bit of cheesy graphics mean NOTHING when you got a good writer and a great story to tell. This was a lot fun to watch. My STO ship (on my 2 favorite characters) is an Excelsior Class (Original) and an NX class. (Archers Enterprise). I like that I got to see the inside of my home ship. Excelsior is a great ship. Love the Enterpruse B.
I particularly like the first sequence where the autodestruct fails to complete and the ship manages to save itself from total destruction. It's actually plausible. Not really a stretch at all and it even explains why the ship didn't blow up completely when logically it should have. It isn't canon of course. But it could be. It wouldn't be hard at all for some future Trek show to take that idea and make it canon. Is it likely? Maybe not, but then who would have ever thought we'd see the resurrected Enterprise D going into battle again? Shows that anything is possible.
Am I the only one that noticed the Stardate places us Mid to Late 2371, and not 2295? Also Scotty was lost on The Jenolin in 2294. There is no way he could be here in 2295. Terrific high-school-level production.
My thoughts too.
I was about to take these old bones to bed, when this popped up in my feed. Well done!
Superbly done with love.
This version was awesome
Amazing job with producing this 👍👏👏👏 . Thank you
Overall, a very fitting tribute and wish fullfillment for the most beautiful ship in Starfleet.
Kirk.
Ive been looking forward to seeing this and i can def say i am impressed :) well done bud :)
Excellent and welcome back
That was touching and truly a well deserved ending even if it didn't happen in the movies or following series. Hardest thing to witness next to Spock's death scene. Would love it if in any upcoming series that they did find and give Her a proper decommissioning. To the creator of this, I thank you for making this and giving and giving the Enterprise the homecoming and retirement that was truly deserved. 👍👍
If anyone ever attacked that station, they'd have one heck of a fight on their hands.
Masterfully done. This was great
I had thought Sulu's daughter was supposed to take over as captain of B. Still this is a good remake
Demora was practically out of the Academy at the time.
Interesting alternative history of trek, even though Kirk's nephew was never mentioned to be of star fleet, and harroman stayed in command after Kirk's death and sulus daughter took command eventually. Background chi looks great but I will say the characters are like PS1/PS2 Quality it doesn't Mach with the background cgi but I still enjoy this video
the og Enterprise lives on. nice
👍 for the concept and smile on my face
Wow! That was a lot of work. Great job!
I recall the first one of these and this is so much more-well done
Yes wee done what would been kind of cool is showing the space shuttle enterprise in museum as well
I for one loved it.. Thank you !!!!❤
It's interesting that the Primary Hull should explode first, followed by the destination of the secondary hull.
Well done!
Very nicely done! It's good to see her back in operation.
I noticed you are using music from "Star Trek: Generations" for the background music. Fitting. 😊
Great morning video. Regardless of the negative comments from those who could NOT have produced an improved version, this was very nice. The love of the series and the premise behind it show. Thank you, sir. Great job.
I really enjoyed this!!!!! Thank you!
This was fun to watch! Well done! I enjoyed it very much! I love this era of Trek
wow. SO many references to the series in this one. love it. excellent work
That was an awesome fan made video. I loved it. Very awesome.
Good to see that they decided to follow on from the events of generations and the event of kirk been drawn in to the nexus
Wow all I can say is job well done.
So the future is bright. Everyone, and I mean everyone got some banging funbags!
This is a very good work, amazing story, I am glad you take your time to do this piece of art. Please accept my suggestions for a new remake of the video, because it really deserves it:
- Hands can be in a more natural position.
Also, the dialogue sounds a bit uneven.
LOL, You noticed it too . The women were very endowed. Everyone had huge shoulder pads like Romulans.
Pretty cool. Actually hit emotions well.
Fun thing, we have no idea what’s inside the main hold of the fleet museum.
An updated Ares Class Starship. My goodness me!
The only thing lacking was the voices - Hearing the real actors in there was a major relief - but you did what you could, so I can't fault you.
this is better than current trek.
I Like this ending as she resting with her mother and her child as her grandchild carry on the Enterprise name.
Thank you I enjoyed this very much
I don't think this is corny, you done amazing work here, keep it up.
the animation was really good here, the characters feel a bit stiff though, but thats just the animation style and AI voices.
Anything IS possible, this is Star Trek after all. Beloved ST characters don't always stay dead.
Yes, dear friend, as Captain (later ambassador)S'chn T'gai Spock quite aptly said it, there are always possibilities.
Is this a movie or video game its exteremly well done, keep up the great work.
Am I the only one that noticed the Stardate places us Mid to Late 2371, and not 2295? Also Scotty was lost on The Jenolin in 2294. There is no way he could be here in 2295. What chronology are you using for your story? Star Trek: Chronology places the destruction of the Enterprise at 2285. At any rate, thank you for taking the time to make this.
