As a diehard Souls fan. I would love to see a fully claymation take on the Souls games. You could do literally anything with it. Bonfires could be hands that come out of the ground to re-sculpt you. Fog walls could be cling wrap. Weapons based on pottery tools. Souls could be called clay bits or clay chunks. Upgrade materials could be hardened clay shards. Instead of a bloodstain you could use a clay splatter or a smudge. Messages could be fingerprints like the ones left on clay when you work on it. Magic could be pebbles and fire. Etc etc etc
If you do end up making it a full game, it would be super cool if pieces of clay fell off the knight and would stay in the arena until you healed which would attract them back to you.
Hey dude, just wanna say this is an insanely impressive project and I would love to see an updated or maybe even full version, the second boss is already giving me flashbacks of Melania Clay of Miquella (:
Imagine if it was a souls game with story where the main goal is to get the kiln(how you bake clay) "Oh Clay Knight, Searching for the kiln's flame to become the Ceramic King!"
DUDE! I LOVE THIS! The clay-motion look is practically made for a soulslike (I especially love the main knight design)! I think you could maybe go full-on "link's awakening mode", that would be the dream - less of a plastic-y look! The music is also AMAZING! Definitely scratches that Blodborne itch for me! This is of course still in need of refinement and some polishing, but this is definitely an uncut gem in my eyes! Coop would be legendary in this game, I imagine! I would LOVE a full or further-developed version of this, I´d certainly pay for it!

You have creativity and talent! This is a frustrating combination in most people, because things end up being slower than they want, but your patients and attention to detail is very refreshing.
Looks great, I´d definitely play a full version of this! As for the "Exchange" theme: Since your characters are clay models, this could maybe also have an impact on the gameplay. Imagine if instead of leveling up via points, you can choose from the clay body parts of defeated bosses and literally exchange them with your own, boostin certain stats or giving special moves and abilities depending on which body part you choose. Having to choose from different options also gives great replay value to your game since your build can differ greatly as you accumulate more and more powered up parts with each boss. That would be amazing to see!
i would LOVE to see a full clay knight game with multiple weapons and bosses, i would also like to point out the music lacks alot of personality but this is so impressive for a one month solo project completely modeled and music made all by one dude props 2 u man
@@DecimusCaesar As a composer myself this kind of feedback isn't that helpful if you don't expand on what you mean because those terms on their own don't really help. "individuality" isn't really a term associated with music and only works in the context of there being more music in the game for it to feel like its own individual. Also "consistency" music a lot of time can be made to be off kilter on purpose, you don't want your music to consistently sound the same throughout the whole track lol (which is actuall worse because it makes the loop feel tiring to listen to).
