      @alexi8661 gallery is self sealing, so it can be sprayed directly over unfinished wood. But I primed my doors because they were previously painted.

    After watching the video, this is basically the next generation handheld sprayer.. I have the Ultimate MX from Sherwin Williams that sprays hot solvents and it comes with a 210 and 514 FFLP

    • @Brian_the_repair_guy
      @Brian_the_repair_guy  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      After getting and reviewing more literature from Graco, the QuickShot will spray the same materials as the MX Handheld units. So their is no difference in the products that can be applied.
      The QuickShot also comes with 2 tips.
      The hand held portion of the gun foe the QuickShot is much smaller than the HandHelds and allows easier access into smaller more confined areas without the cup, battery and larger housing obstructing or hitting the substrate.
      The smaller gun on the QuickShot reduces fatigue.
      The QuickShot uses all of it pump power to move the material to the gun. The HandHeld units have to use the pump to siphon as well as move the material to the gun. This will cause the pump to wear faster.

      The 390 is meant for larger jobs and requires much more paint to prime the machine than the QuickShot.
      The QuickShot and the 390 are meant for 2 different work environments.

    These units, in my opinion, are transitional tools. If your a painter and your looking at these tools and considering buying them it’s likely time for you as a tradesman to expand your knowledge. Perhaps forget these and look into kremlin sprayers and air over liquid units. Theses units, again in my opinion having bought and used two different versions, are more work and less conveniente then just setting up your airless. Cheers from 30 year painter.

    • @Brian_the_repair_guy

      HVLP will give a great finish, I prefer the Titan Capspray over the Graco line of HVLP.
      This QuickShot will allow a polyurethane to be sprayed with no thinning, so you will have quicker application at a higher build. They both have their advantages, but using an oil base urethane with allow time for the product to layout before dry and this will make a better sheen with either machine.
      I personally would not hesitate using the QuickShot for urethane with the proper Fine Finish tip
