Called tonight and had fish and chips .It was very nice not the best I have had but for the price paid it was .Ate with my fingers and there was hardly any grease .I would deffo go again unlike most Blackpool chippies
Before retirement I worked as a support worker for autistic adults. This was their favourite Friday lunch visit(and mine). Julie would bend over backwards for us and she knew all their names. Never rushed us , always a warm welcome Top chippy!

Been coming to Tower Fisheries… for the past 18 years… the food is great and the owners are very polite and friendly… wouldn’t go anywhere else… This is my 2nd home… Would Recommend to anybody!

Our kids (2,4 and 7 years old) loved the thumbnail part and I think Stephen is the best at doing them out of all your guests.

Here's one for you, my neighbours son who works for Eon in the UK has now been provided with the latest EV van, swapped from his Diesel van.
With the Diesel van he filled up just once a week at a cost of £100 and went about his company business. With the EV van, 80 mile range, he now has to charge 3 times per week at a cost of £60 per charge, you do the maths. Not only does he have to charge 3 times per week, Eon allow him to finish work one hour early to get to the charging outlet loosing Eon over 3 hours of his service time but the EV takes up to 2 hours to charge, therefore he is now allowed to book one hour of overtime per charge to the company. Remember this is just one person working for Eon, there must be hundreds like him.
They stand on one leg because they lose half as much body heat exposing both legs to the elements.

As someone who is looking for not only the best but also the cheapest fish and chipshops in the town of blackpool i find this video most informative! And also your comment about seagulls although generalised and not relative to all seagulls is also good advice
A breathe of fresh air, (see what I did there lol), this video after watching your St David’s to Leeds video and the stresses and tribulations of driving an EV long distance. 4:35 hey that’s Wildside’s line lol😄. In all seriousness those fish & chips looked divine along with the mushy peas and curry sauce. I hear so many good things about Tower Fisheries and many other TH-camrs have all said the same. Great to see the MacMaster in my home town 😁According to the local newspaper "Blackpool Evening Gazette", Tower Fisheries are the 10th best in Blackpool (as of 20th Aug 2021, so it may well be different now). They did look tasty though.
Had heard about this place but never tried it. Its definitely getting a visit on my next trip.

Yep agree , been to Tower fisheries last season .It's only a few miles up t'road from me Blackpool. Btw I think you must have been on the beach at Morecambe bay as t's notorious for quicksand that area. Great Vlog mate.

Where did the haddock suddenly appear from? No mention on any of the menus, and meal deals specified cod. Prices generally half what we pay in East Sussex. Fantastic value.

It must be 25 or more years since I last went to Blackpool. But I do remember having fish and chips in Harry Ramsdens and thought it was a fantastic meal. I also remember that the fish was that big, the chips and peas were brought on a separate plate.
At the beginning of the video, I have the answer to your question. 'Why do Seagulls always stand on one leg?' Well, if they didn't, they would fall over🤣🤣🤣

Directly behind Tower Fisheries is my favourite cafe in Blackpool, The Rite Bite. Do a lovely fry up and it’s cheap compared to where I live down South.
That food looked lovely. I always tip my curry sauce over my chips. Got to be curry sauce with fish. Definitely a fish and chip butty as well.

That did look really good value. When I'm in Blackpool I usually go to Bentleys, which is on Bond Street just behind the pleasure beach, they are the best I've found but do cost more. Next time, I'll try Tower fisheries.
