i just went there 3 times, and about to go again this weekend. Lunch can't be beat for 24.95 and late night on weekdays. This place imo is better than neko.

Haven't been to Vegas for 4yrs, might have a trip later this year. Used to go to Makino whenever I am out there, which is more like a todai, decent for the price.
I wonder how this one compare to that?

Salmon roe has become so expensive that my local japanese restaurants started delisting them. I wish I had that type of sushi place near me.
Interesting to see you go to a place I've been a lot, the quality here has gone down fast in the last few months. It's pretty nasty but the reviews haven't caught up.
The super white tuna is actually Escolar, a fish that isn’t tuna at all and gives many stomach problems, even eating small amounts of it.
Just sharing my personal opinion. Escolar”White Tuna” taste mild, tender and doesn’t upset my stomach. With that being said eat with caution and enjoy your bounty!
While you're right, I have never had an upset stomach or any issues eating escolar. That being said, its meh, not that flavorful anyways.

Super white tuna is escolar in English. Abura sokomutsu or abura bouzu in Japanese. It is illegal to serve it in Japan, because it can cause intestinal distress and diarrhea in some people as the oils in its body are ester based, like a wax, making them indigestible. Because of this I don't recommend it if you are unsure of how it will affect you. However, if you ate it and escaped the symptoms, you're probably fine.
A bottle of Pepto Bismo will take care of any stomach problem.

Basically Spring Moutain Road. Loads of strip malls. cleaner and free parking compared to most big city traditional Chinatowns.

If done correctly, than yes. You’re supposed to eat it as served but in America we do what we want.

Super white tuna is really not tuna, it’s a fish (escolar) that is banned in other countries. It can cause stomach aches and is toxic.

White tuna isnt Tuna. Biggest scam ever. The type of fish is called Walu and they pawn it off as tuna. If you eat more than a few ounces you will get the toilet squirts 🤙
Personally, I have never had any problems with it even after eating like 15 sashimi pieces of it.
