Wynn for sure….been to Vegas about 20 times and ate at just about every buffet on the strip and off.The M used to have a Friday night Seafood Buffet with all the wine or beer you can drink….we were there for almost 3 hours. We do like the Crepes at Paris …not a buffet but oh so good…..we get one savory and one dessert and share ….with a glass of wine.

Personal note on Wicked Spoon. Went there in March. Don't know if they were already taken over by MGM by then. We chose this over other buffet options because there was no stated "time limit" on their website or on the reservation. They absolutely did have a time limit however, and our server was hovering around our table waiting for the final minute to tick off. It was pretty unsettling, made even worse by the relatively lackluster size of the crab legs. It quite literally became a race against the clock for what ended up being not a lot of crab. So be warned. I see a lot of google references still saying they don't have a time limit, but they most definitely do. Or at least, they did in March.

It's too bad after Covid a lot of casinos didn't bring back the buffets. The Station Casinos had some of the best affordable buffets but unfortunately they no longer have them. We still go to Southpoint and Rampart as their buffets are very good and affordable. We no longer go to the strip buffets as they are either not good or too pricey. One of our favorite buffets if you have a car is in Mesquite at the Virgin River casino. Their dinner buffets are in the $20 range with Tuesday being our favorite which is steak night.

Great info! I ate at Luxor and Wynn during the same Vegas trip last year and totally agree with your rankings. I was actually pretty shocked at how bad Luxor was, and I'm not very picky about buffets (I used to eat at the old $5 Sahara buffet many, many years ago). On the flip side, I was totally blown away by Wynn. Now I don't want to go anywhere else for a buffet!

It was a true pleasure meeting you by coincidence this past weekend at Evel Pie this past Sunday!!
We planned our trip from all we learned from your videos. We were in Vegas for 4 days and thanks to you we saved a lot of money with your tips and even learned how to play slot machines, hotel rewards, etc. We played slots, had a great time and broke even. We played $400 which we had set aside as play money and expected to lose it all. We ended up with $442 at the end but enjoyed all the time playing (my wife and I took turns hitting the button), so fun!
Best buffet I have ever eaten at --> The Wicked Spoon buffet!! Wow.
Bumping into you and your hubby at the Evel Pie pizzeria was the icing on the cake!! What a mega coincidence!
Thank you for all you do!

LOVED this list. South Point's crab legs are served window style so no need to crack open. The wait for Caesar's sucks, especially when you've made a reservation. We don't eat at Bellagio anymore because I swear it's food poisoning ground zero. We love The Buffet at Wynn too! So happy Palms introduced reservations for crab and lobster night.

We have been to Vegas a couple of times and will be returning here in a few weeks. Before we have gone in the past I would always watch all the videos to catch up on who has the best deal for lunch and breakfast or the best new restaurants or such. Everyone always recommends the Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace and it is consistently ranked in the top two or three on every list out there. We went weather in 2022, specifically the week of thanksgiving. Surprisingly we were able just to walk right in there was no waiting list for lunch on the day we were there. It was almost $300 for my wife 7 year old child and myself. After eating our first plate my wife looked at me and said she felt like we were at a pretty Golden corral. I wholeheartedly concurred. The food was okay, but there was nothing that we ate that we would deem as special or significantly better than almost anywhere else we have tried. The Asian section was almost sad in comparison to the mid-range restaurants open in Chinatown or even some of the Korean places just off strip. The seafood was decent but nothing special. The only section that we thought was above the average restaurant that costs less than half the price was the desert table. My wife and daughter abandoned trying to eat off of the food side and just hit the desserts. Maybe because it's in Vegas and there's different standards, but even comparing the buffet at Caesars to mid-range places in Cincinnati, Columbus, Miami and Atlanta the buffet at Caesars fallsway short and costs twice the price. I know everybody has their opinion and that's mine.

Few people know that the sushi in nearly every buffet in town is made by the same people who operate the Osaka Japanese Bistro on Sahara. They have a massive complex next to the restaurant where they construct hundreds of thousands of rolls a week.
Established in 1967, it was the first Japanese restaurant in Las Vegas. Osaka was honored by Japan’s largest weekly magazine, the Asahi Shukan, as one of the 50 best Japanese Restaurants in the world.

Last year when I ate brunch there, most food was cold, many areas of the buffet were empty and they had no fruit and the most basic pastries. I've never seen a brunch buffet without fruit before. Two cold and sad looking pancakes were in a bowl and no one wanted them. When I went up for my 2nd plate 20 minutes or so later, those same 2 pancakes were still the only ones available.

At SouthPoint buffet, if you want to save the most get a free players card first from the players club as it gives a discount at the buffet. Then for dinner on Monday-Thursday arrive a little before 3:45pm and line is very short, prices change from lunch to dinner prices at 4pm. So you can get a prime rib dinner buffet for a lunch price. Also they close the buffet on Fridays after lunch ( maybe 2:30-3pm?) and people start lining up for the dinner seafood buffet 2 hours early, sometimes this line can be crazy long, and is usually at least very long.

Tiny crab legs, awful Asian section, and has gone downhill since MGM took over. They replaced the upscale liquor at the slots with horrible, cheap liquor. As someone who doesn't eat seafood the Bacchanal just didn't have value for me. And while there were several items I enjoyed there were just as many I didn't (such as the overdone avocado toast). Wicked Spoon is where it's at for me! I still need to try the Wynn buffet.

OMG I remember when Bellagio was the epitome of an Indulgence. There were rooms upon rooms with different themes of food and there was no way to get it all. So sad to see it's declined, but at least I have the memories. Aria also had a really good buffet. It tasted like the food was made to order and not mass-produced for a buffet. The dishes were all very nuanced crafted with care. Too bad it's gone. Speaking of downtown I always loved the Golden Nugget Buffet it was very satisfying. And thank God Main Street Station is still there it is definitely a treat either for breakfast or dinner.

I haven't eaten at Circus Circus in 30 years, BUT I will say that back then, the draw was never the food, but the price. It wasn't terribly expensive, and the food - while not great - was edible and there was plenty of it. Best of all, it was good for the kids in the group. It almost feels like it's in its own category and needs a big asterisk here. Definitely in agreement with Wynn being spectacular though.

We were at South Point buffet just a couple weeks ago and it did not warrant being #4 on this list. If it's been a while since you've visited, you'll need to go again. The food was cold, not fresh, not good at all. We didn't even get up for seconds... it was just that bad. Thankfully, nothing made us sick. It just wasn't good. Maybe it was an "off" day, but it was not good.
Wynn definitely earns the #1 spot. AYCE is very good as well, but the lobster was a bit rubbery.
