It costs a good chunk of money, but it was sooooo good. I couldn't eat as much as I thought I would haha but even at their price, I feel like it's very worth it.
The staff and kitchen was probably SO EXCITED to have you there, knowing your intention was to actually enjoy each dish and appreciate the quality, the process, and the food that they probably don’t get to prepare very often. Probably start living there since you can repeat back all of the menu that they offered😂
I am a Malaysian, and I didn't even know a restaurant like this exists. Gonna try it out. The food looks amazing. Your video is great as usual. Thanks for the context.
Hi 👋🏽 new subscriber here!!! I’d like to say that you are incredible for resisting eating that whole box of uni by itself! I would have ate all the uni in the first 15mins.
Uncle Jimmy is like most lactose intolerant people when it comes to his seafood allergy... This place looked amazing even at the price range. I've watched videos of mediocre places and their bill comes out to $300, and it's not even all you can eat. It is really cool that you get to watch so many dishes being prepared and it all looks so fresh!
People that say that this isn't worth it due to low cost of living in the area aren't considering that it doesn't make importing luxury ingredients any cheaper
Wow I would LOVE to try this feast to see if I like other types of items. Right now for Seafood I only like Lobster and Shrimp cocktail. It would be so fun to see if I like other things but at the top quality wise. I'm just afraid I either wouldn't like any of it or I'd want to keep going back.
It's a good price, it goes to show how expensive it is for restaurants to run at "big cities" eg. Rent, staff etc. As really the ingredients only a fraction of the cost running a restaurant. Staffing and rent is the biggest contributor to cost of food when eating out. If say London, if cost of staff or rent are same as Malaysia, food would be 1/3 of the price.
That was nice 👍🏼. But you should go to Brasil and try the Buffet at Marius Seafood in Rio De Janeiro back in the days used to be internationally renowned
I'm sure for that price, they imported everything from Japan so it should be good. You are so close to Thailand. If you get the chance to go to Bangkok, Honmono Sushi has a similar all you can eat that you ordered from the menu around the same price all ingredient imported from Japan. I had them when I was in Bangkok a year ago.
People drop 5 figures at a night out in America and just get upcharged for it all + tip and that was some 5 star dining for $200, definitely worth it 👌
That's anywhere. You can spend money like water in most modern cities around the world. I'm from Shanghai, and I know there are high end places that will cost 5 figures easily.
I am from and live in Canada and I can attest to the quality of our seafood on both coasts. the lobster in the east and the salmon in the west is impossible to beat.
Super cheap for the price but I think the place needs to look like a very fine dining restaurant, now you see fridge in the background and plain white walls and curtain. I think if they spend $10-30K on the place, it will look awesome and they can charge $300 instead of $225.
What always is shocking about watching these high end restaurants around the world is how much bang for your buck it is in comparison to expensive US cities (NYC, bay area, LA, seattle, las vegas, etc.) The good thing about being from these cities is that everywhere else is “cheap” 😂
$200 is well worth . there's restaurants in FLORIDA that'll share $699 for 1/3 of you got
