History shows that hundreds f years ago, lobsters were so vastly abundant and so easily caught that t was the food for the common man.
In fact it was so abundant and cheap that even the slaves and indentured workers protested to have it cut down to be served to them no more than twice per week.

I like how the chef explained each item on the buffet. Most others only tell you about what they like. You can tell you are really enjoying yourself.
But look at the eyes of that 'poor' lobster for the 'lucky' winner. He looked grumpy.
All-you-can-eat lobsters for $65 are a good deal. The chef Jessica did an excellent job giving a buffet tour. I've seen many buffet videos, and this one is well presented. Great video!

Actually in this scenario ,it's not as good as you think. These warm water/spiny tails wholesale for about $3.00 each. People mix up Maine Lobsters ,with the other varietals . The Wynn charges $125. per person for their buffet with Maine Lobster..Same goes for basic Atlantic salmon.While it's all good ,it's not the Seafood you think it is
$65 is not that expensive for all of the choices and whole lobsters! This was such a great tour of the buffet. Thank you Steve! If I'm ever able to get to Las Vegas I am going to the AYCE for sure.

I stood in line at 11am to purchase the lobster meal tickets. After purchasing the meal tickets, you come back and stand in line again at 2pm to enter. I believe they only allow 200 people to purchase the meal tickets, so get there early.

I mean it makes sense. They are the head of the kitchen and likely had to approve every single dish before they made it onto the menu and served to the guests.

Only $65? Wow! We are sooooo going to this buffet! Even if it cost $100 per person, the food look so amazing!
Best part is this buffet is inexpensive…$35 during the week (no lobster) and $65 is the most expensive for the lobster buffet.

At that price, I'd feel good about not just loading up on the lobster. The Mediterranean section looked wonderful. Now I'm not saying there wouldn't be a few lobsters/tails on my plate each trip, but I'd certainly have other things as well.

@davelight2220 Yep growing up in Vegas we had every relative on the planet come visit and make us take them all over the strip and endless buffets. I can barely even look at buffets after that but them filling 50 plates with rice, pasta, cheep dry pizza and God knows what else instead of the legit items drove me crazy! 😅

I grew up eating lobster and crab dipped in butter that had a few drops of Franks Red Hot Sauce so I can imagine the spicy butter WAS the way to go! 😋
HUMONGOUS props!! I have been trying to find a good AYCE lobster buffet in Vegas and at California Native tribal casinos for forever and a day. 👍🏾👍🏾
I will need to try this lobster AYCE buffet in Vegas the next time I visit. I went to the one in Redondo Beach last year after watching your videos, and had a good experience. However, after a few months, the restaurant stopped offering AYCE lobster because they said they were losing money on it. At least with Vegas, the casinos subsidize the cost of the buffets with all the gambling revenue.
No subsidies any longer. You pay the price that they profit on. Subsidized "low priced' high quality foodstuffs are HISTORY. I used toi go to Binions at midnight for the 10 oz NY, complete meal with baked, tossed sals and bread/butter. That was $2 and subsidized by the casino play. Now we get to smoke pot and eat up as well!
For that price and the quality of the lobster (both whole and tail), I'd eat there. Top sirloin cooked med. rare is a bonus. All the other foods too look good. Free parking too. Great video.
Based on this video recommendation, we’re going there my next Wednesday off! let’s see if they treat us like rockstar eaters 😜

No way I'm reading lobster in Vegas. Go to Maine. It's beautiful in the summer and you cannot beat the lobster. Order it on the water and the lobster was literally crawling around the ocean floor that morning. Nothing compares
I get my lobsters right from the boats in season. Huge difference in taste and chew when fresh and cooked in the seawater they came out of!
I know what I'm going to pick first when I go to this buffet. Lobster and snow crab legs.

Was here yesterday. Enjoyed the lobsters but by the time I got there although almost gone got some Lechon Kawali. So good.

I gamble twice a week and the Palms is one day and the others are the second day. I sit very close to the buffet and never went in. I was born and raised on an island and fresh seafood is the 'bare' minimum. This is the third video of this kind I have watched and they all scream, come on in! So, my upcoming plans will be the crab buffet first. I assume it is Alaskan King crab and I have had my share of Maine lobster in my chef life. Thanks for a great review!

Brain juice ! It makes you happy. Used to eat five pounds of crawfish at a crack and suck out all that brain juice. It tastes great, and something in there...just makes you happy.
used to visit Vegas regular in the late 90's and 2000's - love the Seafood buffet at the Rio - no lobster, but a much better selection of seafood. and about 1000 different deserts. But may have to try this one, if ever back in Vegas. Just miss the cheap food you used to get.

RIO is over and done. The hotel had legionaires disease in 2019 and the crowd left and never returned. I was there recently, what a shame.

There used to be a AYCE seafood buffet in my town that served fried softshell crabs. I think I drove them out of business.

I was there last February and yes, it's very hard to find a buffet that serves lobsters all you can eat. it seems the Palms is the only place that serves it for now. and $65 is a very good price especially for lobsters. you go to Bachannel and it cost like almost $100 but they don't serve lobsters at that buffet. now, I have to say, the food was very good. however, I like the lobsters that are opened. not the one that we have to peel open the lobster. the peel open one kinda tastes a bit like rubber. but the opened one, was cooked perfectly. I had several of those lobsters and has few other stuff too. and as for desserts, a lot of people gathered to get geletin ice cream. it was incredibly delicous. when I return to Vegas, I would love to go to the Palms for buffet again. however, they only served lobsters one day a week. but if you go, it's worth it. enjoy!!

That would be impossible for me to decide what I was going to have to pass up on eating because I couldn't handle all that food. I would have to go there for lunch AND dinner just so I could try as many things as possible.

Have you been to the Saffron buffet at the Atlantis hotel in Dubai? If you're in Dubai definitely go there, it's legit the best buffet I've ever been to, I think you can call it the perfect buffet. Tuesday is the seafood night, all you can eat lobster cooked the way you want it, jumbo fresh red prawns, super good oysters on the half shell, Japanese sushi chefs making sushi all night (not your normal 'buffet' sushi) etc.

Good buffet, but I had a bad experience on my last visit.
Me and my wife arrived there at brunch time,and when it flipped to dinner the extremely unprofessional and rude manager called Jamie aggressively yanked the plates out of our hands because brunch was over, nobody warned us beforehand that we couldn't stay after brunch,and when we asked for an explanation of why she was doing that,since she literally out of nowhere started taking the food out of our hands,she started being extremely rude and started yelling telling us to leave,never in my life have I ever experienced something so ridiculous and childish and unprofessional in establishment, the problem wasn't that we couldn't stay after brunch,but the fact that nobody warned us and the way that the manager behaved, we left there feeling totally humiliated and disappointed, even the waiters seemed to be in shock because of Jamie's extreme and unnecessary reaction, I just really hope that she pays the consequences of her actions and that this never happens with anybody else!
Vegas can be a social hell-hole. Had the misfortune to have to go to hospital for a minor accident and the staff was some of the rudest, uptight staff I have ever seen, especially in a hospital. Because a woman's visit was over, they then told her she was not allowed to hang out in the waiting room. Now she was in a wheelchair, and it was very cold outside as it gets around 11pm. Even though they were shoving her out, they were also trying to take the blanket she had, as it "was hospital property". I don't think they actually did, but they were mocking her as if they would, in retaliation for her complaining about being shoved out to the cold.
Most buffet lobsters are overcooked, so it's tough.... tell me, are they as good as you say????

I was there two weeks ago. We went on Thursday (crab night). We waited in line for about 45 minutes to be seated. I asked the hostess what it was like on lobster night, and she said the wait is usually about 4 hours, and that people start lining up around 2 PM. Sorry, I'm not waiting in line for four hours.
