"Prime" your core with a routine that activates all layers of the pelvic floor, and integrates the surrounding hip and core muscles. This deep core workout can help prevent accidental bladder leakage when done regularly (5 times/week is a great starting place)! If you have anterior wall or posterior wall prolapse, consider doing the isolated pelvic floor exercises lying down or with your hips elevated on a pillow or yoga block.

After watching a lot of your videos and some others, I know I have weak hip flexors and glutes contributing to my bladder leakage and weak pelvic floor. I had no idea all those muscles were connected. So glad I found you Dr.Bri ❤ doing your exercises every day and I’ve noticed a difference in my sex life and bladder leakage already!! Bless you

I didn’t know weak hip flexors could cause leakage until just now. Dang that explains a lot.

Aging is not for whimps. I felt bubbles on one using pillow. I was on exercise ball. Then could not lift my foot. When you showed in more detail how to turn to position oneself I saw improvement. I'll be back on a reg for this one. I want prevention. Thank you Bri!

Thank you so much for such a great, clear video. Really helpful especially as there is so much emphasis on needing to tighten the pelvic floor muscles when actually they may already be tight. I am definitely going to incorporate this routine into my life.

This workout is **pelvic floor aware** meaning that specific cues are given for breathing and technique. That being said, we can't guarantee that it will be appropriate for your needs. EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT and will tolerate exercises differently. Listen to your body and stop or modify if anything feels uncomfortable for your particular core/pelvic floor needs. Talk to your local pelvic floor physical therapist for individualized medical advice! In the meantime, feel free to check Dr. Bri’s pregnancy playlist. bit.ly/fempregnancy ~ Vibrant Support
