    It’s also non feminine. Yes I know that is an old fashioned ideal, but still it’s assumed that women are neat and clean their places well. As is excited talking, and a whole host of other ADHD flaws. It’s something I can consciously challenge and reframe, so as to feel mentally better. But the shame and self disappointment is pervasive, maybe automatic. Or at least, it’s unconscious the feelings of shame and anger etc.

    Everything about this is me I have ADHD the medication that I'm on isn't helping me as well as past medications have worked

      You might consider speaking to your prescribing provider about adjusting either the medication or the dosage to see if there is a better option to help support you.
