In this video, Adam teaches you how to stop hitting it fat. The #1 reason why you are hitting it fat is because you have an early release in tandem with a slide in the downswing. Adam goes over how the Hip Bump will cure the slide since it maintains pressure on the lead leg while allowing a full turn to the top of the swing.

These videos aren’t a quick fix, they explain a system that works together. Slowly after binging these videos like my favorite Netflix show, the system is taking root. I’m seeing massive improvements simply from watching his interactions with his students. Best golf content on TH-cam by far.

I need more clarification on the bump. You say bump forward but when I watch it looks like your backside is going backward. I have watched this several times. What is the weight distribution after the bump? I love your videos and you are certainly the best of the best in instruction.

I’ve paid my subscription and subscribe to Adam’s site, and have decided he’s my
Man!!! I’m not watching other instructors as mixed messages/inconsistent processes makes progress more difficult….the
Words spoken on all Adam’s videos are very precise, consistent, hands down the best out there I feel, he speaks of his dad and I think between them they’ve perfected their process over 30/40 years! Thx again Adam and team!

The way he presents these lessons is super easy to follow and replicate. I’ve been working on a few of the drills over the last month in my hitting net, and it has paid dividends. I played a few holes after work yesterday, and I was hitting a nice little fade with consistent distance instead of alternating between a right right push or an overcooked hook.

Great lesson. Brace and post, sync hands with body and don’t sit back, get over the ball, makes it easier to cover through impact.
I played today at Archerfield in Scotland, shot 86 in the wind. Losing so much to the left as body stalling and hands stuck behind. Time to hit the range

Great video as usual Adam! Very intuitive instruction as always. Was wondering if you had any videos/advice for someone who occasionally fats it because my upper body/head drops too much in transition/downswing, meaning although I have shifted weight to my left the low point is still behind the ball. Looking for that feel to fix it that you usually are able to explain so well. Would appreciate any feed back 😊

Eliminating the lateral movement basically cured most of my missed shots. One thing I'm still not certain of is how much movement in my lead knee is ok. Sometimes when I'm really trying to focus on getting my hips moving thru the backswing during some practice swings, the lead knee will bend inward towards my trail knee and I've been told to avoid that. When I try to keep it still, it feels a bit awkward and restricted.

Hip bump forward can be confusing to viewers because it sounds like 12 o'clock towards the target however I think the hip bump is meant to be pointed towards 10 oclock. Completely different.

If Adam says this is what you do , take it to the bank , if it’s not working his instruction isn’t wrong your not interpreting his instruction or applying it correctly, without exception there is no one better, the acid test being he can demonstrate to perfection any shot or drill he is advocating to his students.
