SteelbeastsCavalry What pisses me off is how Craig had that crappy set for 10 years and then James Corden got a better set than Colbert when they both took over. Why couldn't Craig get a decent set without a leaky roof?
Curtis T Honestly, I think the reason they added all that extra fluff for Corden because they had to make it as interesting as possible because Craig Ferguson had a lot of fans. CBS probably didn't want to lose the audience so they added a lot of bells and whistles to Corden's show in order to keep interest in the show after Ferguson left. I don't know if that's true but that's just my own speculation.
Leaky roof was in the old studio, then if they improved the set Craig wouldn't be able to make fun of it as much as he did. The charm of the show was that it was supposed to feel crappy, but be good
It is a great show theme, but he owes Madness a few quid like Diidy to Sting. That said, Craig was the last show standing. Wish they shut it all down across the board after him! These new wankers more than suck.....
By far my favourite Late Night theme song ever. I still watch episodes and compilations on TH-cam. Craig was at his best when riffing with Josh (Geoff) or when hanging with his actual friends on the show. Billy Connolly Kristen Bell Mila Kunis Larry King Any episode with those folks was gold, because of the genuine connections. Also, his full hour with Desmond Tutu was one of the most amazing and joyful things you'll ever see.
It's funny...now that I've read that, all I can now think of is how very Jeff Lynne this theme song is. Lyrics...rhythm and chord progression...whomever wrote this definitely appears to someone with same sensibility as Lynne and the boys of ELO :)
And according to Sir Paul McCartney ELO`s Mr Blue Sky was partly based on a song taken from the Beatles Sgt. Pepper`s Lonely Heart`s Club Band Album as well.
Being a little kid I remember staying up late with basic tv and I would watch him. Funny and entertaining even as a child. I remember his theme song most , so catchy. He really was underrated
I got to be in the audience of a recorded show last night. It was pretty damn epic. I've never been so entertained in all of my life. I love this show. :)
Best intro EVER!!! God I love this man! He was the best chat show host EVER!!! I don’t think his show will ever be topped! I wish he would’ve stayed on FOREVER!!!
I love this song! I'll definitely miss Craig in late night TV!! I've watched his show for ten years so it'll be sad to see him go! I'll follow his fall 2015 talk show though and I already follow Celebrity Name Game just because he hosts it. Craig is hilarous and very talented!
Hopefully it'll happen because I want to watch it too. Maybe he will eventually go back to late night TV, here's to hoping. Whatever he chooses to do I wish him the best of luck. If it makes him happy, than I'm happy.
@@coolcrabcakes1287 Dave got too one-sided politically later on, went from entertaining to annoying. Carson undisputed King of Late Night, Ferguson was the irreverent crown prince who turned the format on it's head. Both are gone from late night and the ship has been scuttled.

i just started watching Craig last year and i absolutely love his show I'm going to miss him when he leaves. I stay up and watch David Letterman and him every night. Going to miss Letterman next year too. Letterman and Ferguson definitely the best two on late night television
I'm so glad to have run across this full version again. I remember finding it on a site that had a bunch of TV themes. Then both the site and my drive went belly up. Thank You very much for posting it.
Craig Ferguson. ... you rock! Lmao at the comments. ..I agree with almost all of them. ... yes. .. it's a catchy tune... happy. .. makes you want to dance and sing with him. Crazy crazy Craig. ...u go dude. .
I just saved a copy of this. So glad to finally have it. I -will- be doing a cover of it in the future, hopefully going to send it to Craig at some point.
For me, James Cordon or whatever his name is wouldn't suck so much if he still kept this theme song and geoff. Craig will always be the legend, and James will always be that other guy who puts his hand up for everything and anything without thinking things through.
Oh, yes, that is definitely Craig. He's not only singing, but he wrote the song as well. The reason you may be confused is that he's not using his real accent --- he's singing it in an English sorta David Bowie voice. The tricky scoundrel.

Damn I miss watching the late late show with Craig , hell when my dad was in the hospital for a bit I made sure I would sit by his bed an watch Craig every night ... James Cordon just isn't funny to me at all ! My old man won't even watch him ! lol
"Tomorrow's just your future yesterday". I'll always remember that.
RIP Late Late Show. New guy can not fill those shoes. Cheers Craig!

That New guy did, actually.
@@sillygoose635 did he though?

@@CompleteMuffin I think it was part of it, but just based on the number of skits as compared to Corden, Craig's budget seem a lot smaller
Simply put, Craig is the absolute best.
Do folks realize Craig also wrote this song? So talented
He also played in a punk band with Peter Capaldi called The Dreamboys. You can find a few of their songs on here.
He wrote it, does the lead vocals, and the majority of drums. He’s very talented. 👍
It is a great show theme, but he owes Madness a few quid like Diidy to Sting.

Craig himself would probably say that they couldn't afford to have anyone else do the vocals. haha I love this man
True but why would they when Craig's such a good singer 😂
for some reason this song reminds me a little of Mr. Blue Sky by ELO, I love it. gonna miss Craig
Hahaha, it's so strange, but now that i think about it, somehow yes
Yes! It's a great Power Pop song in my opinion.

God Bless Craig Ferguson and his antics
This is easily the best opening music to any late night show ever, but I think your 2 hour loop might be a tiny bit excessive.
It's really addicting though!
It often just makes me happy listening to it. Not many TV Theme shows can do that.
Yeah, but it is NOT a 2 hour loop
Zippy the Brain best opening music to anything ever
Is so good that i have to found it and put it in my i-pod for hear it over and over till my ears have enough!
I think this would be a smashing anthem for staying up late, just replace "TV" with "music".
