I tried watching breaking bad, didn't do it for for me. However The Sopranos hooked me from the first episode... I don't even skip the intro. My humble opinion, The Sopranos is one of the best shows I've ever seen.

What a tv series! I watched The Sopranos when I was younger with my father. What I most appreciated about this series was its ability to convey a philosophical message, that is, you can have all the money and power you want, but you can not buy happiness. Even a powerful man like Tony Soprano, who apparently seemed to have everything, needed the prozac to feel free. Also I am Neapolitan, and another thing that I loved in this series is how they described the sense of family that we Neapolitans have. Thank you James Gandolfini, I am doubly honored that you had origins of my parts. Riposa in pace, viva i Soprano e viva Napoli.

I'm going to say this. Game of Thrones is currently the hit HBO show. I do like it, but... The Sopranos will always have a spot in my heart for the best show and theme.

I finally got around to watching the entire series on Amazon video. Truly one of the best shows i have seen, other than breaking bad. I never once had the urge to skip the intro, it was that damn good.

Thanks for allowing me the pleasure of listening to one of my favorite shows theme songs and may I say there will never be another James Gandolfini (May he R.I.P.) It is so hard to realize he has left us approximately 9 months ago. He was one hell of a guy, so different than he portrayed (my gentle giant) !
