I'm surprised this didn't get any air time. Decouple it from the concept of a late night TV show and it still works. This song can actually stand alone, which surprises me because I didn't know Craig could write music or sing.
They should make a song this awesome for getting up in the morning. It could be about apologizing for keeping us up, but would also tell us to watch again for the next late late show!

Debbie Fleming James isn't horrible but he's no Craig Ferguson, He brought something other people didn't bring to Late Night, his show wasn't like any other Late Night Talk Show, and I miss it so much, I rewatch it often on TH-cam cause they have a shit ton of episodes archived
Craig was on Colbert 2nite & he was just so Craig. Only a bit of underlying tension for the path that might otherwise have been taken post-Letterman. Those 10 years of the dancing horse, slapping the camera, & Geoff, such a man, Geoff---it was all increasingly neat strange fun. Probly ran its course; how much longer could it have been neat & strange? still miss it though. This song epitomized.
Singing voices are weird things - Craig was in a punk band so I think it's just how he learnt how to sing back in the day. I think it's just his way of enunciating the words - he's always sounded very Bowie-esque when singing (see also his Rocky Horror performance from Halloween 2011)
