Yes, especially if you changed driving patterns from primarily long to short where the vehicle does get up to full operating temperature for extended periods. Great question.
@@protipsplusI have a question. I am thinking about getting a 2016 crv or 2006 crv. What certain mileage do you have to keep checking to fix or clean the pcv?
@@honeyofoats5619 Unless your engine is using a high volume of oil (>1 quart between oil changes), every 30K should be O.K. If the valve gets stuck in the open position, excessive crankcase gases and small amounts of oil will be vented through the throttle body. This results in increased oil consumption. We have two CRVs in the family. They just keep going and going. Great Question.
The thin red plastic tube that's on a can of WD-40 can attach to your can of fluid to clean the little ports with a good blast! Just sayin'. Thanks for this video.❤
Well made video. It happens to know how that flow channel it works from the crankcase vacuum hose true PCV valve and intake manifold exit?
I don't have access to that diagram. Maybe a Honda dealer can provide it.
Thanks ,awesome video ,very well explained .👍
@sunilmohandas3869 You're very welcome. Thank you for the comment. Please share with friends and followers. Happy holidays.
Amazing video!!! Much blessings 🙏🙏🔥🔥🔥♥️🚙
At what mileage should this be done?
PCV valves are recommended from 35,000 -60,000 miles.
@@protipsplus Thanks. If the bolt is lost, Honda only sells them in packs of 10.
Can this cause oil consumption....all of a sudden
