- 👑👑 I'm in the midst of releasing my dream miniature brush as well as some wonderfully sculpted miniature busts. I went on Fiverr again, asking miniature painters to paint my Warhammer figures in a creative way. This time I sent out one mini from Zarbags Gitz to all of the painters. Funny enough, after I had started the production of the video - Fiverr - reached out asking if I wanted to make a video sponsored by them. My favorite aswell! Like the contrast between a light cloak and all the mud. And cool blue effect :).
It was so exciting haha, I arrived from the office, picked the package, painted it, put it in a package again, sent it back to you haha, still tried to make it look like he was becoming part of the underworld.
his eye now sees through the dark, he doesn't know but he doesn't need arrows anymore... for he is part of the underworld now
Note on the twoelbows mini: I love the cuts on the arms! Those cuts are exactly where you'd get hurt if you didn't know how to properly use a bow. Very cool!
Oh no, it's Brushlicker again! I'm feeling half-traumatized by these videos because I can't but help imagine Brushlicker as a mischievous gnome-like entity going around people's houses and licking all their brushes :(
I just love how a lot of the colors pop on those minis. Each one's got a different style, but they all look great.

@@Hades13 nah man, gotta flip your mindset around. I used to get frustrated my work wasn't as good as other people but then I learned some very important lessons.
1) its okay to suck at your hobby. If you focus on the fact you're doing it because you enjoy it, rather than for the finished result, you still have a good time.
2) these guys have been painting for years. I have improved dramatically over the last 8 years since I got into the hobby, just imagine what I can do in another 8

I will keep painting because I like it and I like the game (I am more a gamer than a painter).
But I started in junior high school. Now it's about 14 or 15 years that I am painting miniatures, and I didn't get too far. I have never been good in art at school, and also been color blind doesn't help, lol
Does this mean the fiver thing will be a series? Why not!! Love it

Devpaints knocked it out of the park by showing the glow of the mushroom on the clothes, face and arm. It is something far beyond the others.
do this again but ask all the painters to put the model on a diorama base to tell a story instead

The fact that they still are a cohesive warband when placed together is awesome, it blows my mind.
These are all great and is going to be a very unique but awesome warband. But that useable squig with diorama is amazing, my favourite
the cave squig that green glow the way he done the green hue, but across the board they were all amazing
Every of those paintjobs has something going for it.
The yellow robe and his pallish skin are grizly, the blue one draws the eye, the fanatic and chef look crazy. Props for the two part diorama that allows to keep playing with the mini.

I think what I enjoy about this best is hearing a prompt and seeing how different people respond to it. I’d love more videos like that! Maybe even show us the unpainted mini first and give us a moment to pause and think about what we’d do. Thanks!
I find it very cool how even though there are different styles used and concepts they all Fit together as a cohesive unit.

The more likes and comments the more his video gets recommend, the more his video gets recommend means more people watch and that leads to more money, he definitely made more than 1000€ minimum on this video. He not doing this for free you know, he wouldn't post videos much or even atall if he wasn't being payed for this.

All artist did a great job with the painting! I really like this type of videos and its the last one the one which brought me to your channel.
I barely have any experience painting, as i only could do a few figures when i was 14. Sadly, it costs so much both the figures and the paint that i just can't afford it. Meanwhile, i'll enjoy this videos and the job others do!
You should have a paint off series. Where painters send you stuff and people can vote for a winner. Maybe even a paint off tournament :D
My favorite was definitely the squig in the cave. The lighting on the face working off of the set piece was what really made it click

Idk why I'm just obsessed with box-opening vids, ESPECIALLY when the content inside is some artwork :D it's like Christmas but instead of getting a manufactured toy, you get to open a gorgeous, creative, one of a kind creation

These are absolutely beautiful and it is amazing to think they did this with such little time. Each one was creative and had its own highlight.
Devpaints was my favorite because I'm a sucker for the bright colors and the scenario-based painting. The way the robe had mud on the backside but also the blueish tint on the front from the environment was spectacular.
Frederick with the rule breaking is always pleasing. Creative=making your own rules! And he absolutely nailed it.
The last one had beautiful colors and I loved the scratch/worn effects on the robe, a technique I'm still trying to learn. The weathering on the ball was gorgeous!
I can't scroll up to see the name but the figure with the purple net, I enjoyed that. A great example of how creativity and skill collide to make a great figure.
Congrats to all involved! I certainly learned a few new things as a painter as far as color matching, techniques that can be used, and how creativity beats standard aesthetics. Loved this video and hope to see more soon.

This is a sweet video, but I think part of what makes the Fiverr videos like yours in the past or from Davie504 cool is that the artists don't always know they are going to be in a video, so I guess it makes it more "real" or genuine.
Either way like I said this is still a cool, video loved seeing the different interpretations on the paint jobs.
Exactly my thoughts too. Artists put more effort into it when they know they're in a video. Part of the fun is seeing what you get for the price... and if you're paying $50 and he knows hes in a video... the artist is NOT painting a $50 miniature lol
@Johnnie Walker It's all about pay per hour. How much would be acceptable pay for you, in your daily job? I would not lift a brush for less than 30$ an hour, painting for strangers.

First, it was the specific instructions, now it's based on their creativity, there are loads of directions that a hypothetical third instalment could go in.
They're all very amazing models with their crazy colour schemes.

I love these fiverr videos, regardless of topic basically. The sole reason why I found myself procrastinating with watching miniature painting videos - even though I haven’t painted any during the last 2 decades pretty much. Keep it up though, it’s fun content!

They were all cool, but the one in the cave is my favorite for creativity. You have a playable piece, with his own shelf display...with a couple of black light LEDs, and some strategically placed glow powder you would have yourself a real treasure there. Make it battery powered so you can take it with you to play. Good job for all of them though.
