Its not a 24 h painting challenge. We are witnessing a social experiment of two grown men slowly drifting into madness the longer they stay awake. Share the box boys.
You should do a video like this where you dont set an arbitrary timeline for the painting. I would love to see how you do just painting to your liking!
Right, so Lukas did a 24 hour painting challenge and Emil ... converted and painted some stuff during a 24 hour period. Box obviously goes to the only one that did the challenge!
Except Lukas didn't paint more than half of what he was supposed to do for the challenge. I love his banner, it's absolutely amazing, but Emil was not only able to paint most of his stuff, he also was able to convert and make at least 3 of them look amazing and unique, also his use of color was amazing when Lukas has a pretty simple color scheme of mainly black with some yellow and reds
You both were all over the place on this one, but notably never stopped hobbying or being creative the entire time. It was honestly one of my favorite videos of yours!
Lukas's models look amazing and he gets my vote, both for the amazing banner work and the fact he managed to stay on target the true impossible goal of mini painters everywhere lol
Wow, that army reveal at 18:09 was really cool. Your paint jobs served the models on a table really, really well. I love it when the vibrant colors sort of make the individual model pop, while also creating this greater army cohesion. Speaking of - wow, just taking a second to admire the sculptors for keeping not only model composition in mind, but the composition of many models put together like that. All the demon wings, all the spears. Very cool
Well it's really hard to compare such vastly different things. Maybe you should get a second box and decide in a 24h marathon who paints it better.😅 I really like those videos.
Gotta admit Lucas efforts were absolutely amazing! The colours pop where they need to and just look so sweet.... but my vote goes to Emil, the work that goes into conversions and including the drying times which really slow you down... those conversions were nice and the effort that went into the painting!
I love Emil's conversions, and gotta give props for the work done on all that different stuff. But the one who has more of an army and stuck to his guns is Lukas, so my vote goes to him.
I LOVED the quiz and gym intermission! It makes a huge difference in your mental health and focus to get some laughter in and some sweat in as well! Emil's army looks amazing, but looking at what was painted during this challenge... I have to go with my boy Lukas.
Lucas wins this one with the amazing saturation of Be'lakor's wings! Could you share how you made that incredible orange fade???? Congrats on your new box! Emil, your conversions were really out of this world and impressive!
This is probably the funniest, most real video I've seen you guys put out. I'd love to see that Quiz in its entirety hahaha. Honestly I think Emil's conversions, and painted backlog barely takes the cake for me.
I always find these 24h challenges amazing, my biggest enemy is my lack of initiative when it comes to painting miniatures. Thanks to your videos I decided to paint the whole Zombicide Black plage box and yesterday I finished it. So thanks for being a source of inspiration.
Well Emil wins the amount of hobby done award. Lukas wins the keeping to the brief award. Over all winner... think it a draw and another round is needed.
Excellent job to both. Lukas wins by a hair. Video editor is also a winner here. Fantastic job all. Would be great to see them 100 percent done in a follow up video
Going with Emil on this one. Well done gents, working solidly for 24 hours is not easy or pleasant especially in those last few hours when your body is screaming for sleep
Both guys did amazing job on those models but I just love conversions and kitbashes so my vote goes to Emil. Skeletons and aztecs are my two favourite themes so combining them is perfection
Quality from Lukas is brilliant but i also love the colours Lukas has picked, everything looks amazing. Emil conversions are awesome and love the colour scheme of his armies as well, but i think Lukas wins.
Lukas' freehand put it over the top for me. It was close, though. I think you guys should just share the box and do a 24 hour challenge on the box as a duo project.
i'm new to the hobby, you really pulled me into painting with your videos but i was wondering do you have any suggestions for like.. which miniature a new person should choose, along with which colors and how you paint it? would love to copy it step by step
The editing on this was awesome. I don't love all of Lukas' paint job, but that freehand banner would win anything. Emil didn't seem to do a 24 hour painting challenge so definitely lost. Would love to see those kitbashed minis painted up
Emil understood the assignment, he ignored the assignment, and he still completed more miniatures in 24 hours than I complete in 6 months. So I think I've gotta give my vote to him.
Very cool! Those wings have inspired me to finally paint my dragon that has been collecting dust for far over a year after I primed it!!! So thanks for that!
The bloodletters look amazing. At first when I heard the scheme I thought he was just being lazy but it looks amazing. The conversions are very cool. I love the Seraphon astrolith bearer. My vote is that you buy two boxes and give one to each of you.
it has got to be Lukas his colour scheme is incredible and that freehand banner is god tier, but Emil's conversions look awesome i love the way he has managed to combine tomb kings with lizardmen
You are both amazing at what you do I love watching and learning from you both. Conversions, painting tutorials, style and the way you interact with one another is great fun to watch. Please keep it up.
You guys seemed to have quite a fun time, loved the banter on each other. The editing made the experience even better! Perhaps it's the first time I noticed but Lukas Potter scar and the buff makes him a total chad lol
Can't believe Emil managed to do all that stuff in just 24 hours. He surely get's my vote. Lukas's psinting is sick. Sadly he was unable to finish more before this harsh deadline.
Lukas actually did the challenge, and that colorscheme is really nice, so hes the winner in my book :) The stuff Emil converted and partially painted looks nice too though
I say Emil's Nagash wins by itself but then you see Lukas' free hand banner and Belakor and ...well... IT's A TIE! Split the box! Awesome video gents, a lot of fun to watch!
Love it. I'm in awe of the work you get done. Emil got some sick looking painting done. Lucas's orange paint scheme is so vibrant, it almost makes the grey look like primer on some models, I'm sure it looks better irl. Prize goes to Lucas for the big boy guns pump though.
I vote for Emil because he had an amazing paint scheme, amazing conversions, and painted most of his challenging, not taking more than half of his miniatures out of the challenging like Lukas did. But Lukas's banner was emaculant, even if the rest of his colors were pretty simple he did good
Just wanted to say the channel is looking great, A+ content and just beautiful painting. You really make me try harder and try new things, I'm a painter with one working eye and no depth of field lol, who just lives to paint/ create and 3d print in any spare time I have. I'm just so glad I have this kind of help and inspiration , thank you :)
You guys should split the Heresy box in half, then do the next face-off challenge where you compete in painting your halves of the box. Love the goofball humor, so much fun to watch :]
Lukas stick to his demons all the way with that free hand banner is sweet Emil dedication to paint all of ( not the original plan ) minis, manage to squeeze 2 different factions and 2 stand alone minis Hard to choose, gotta go with Emil's
I really like what Emil did, but I have to give this one to Lucas. He committed to that army, and went full hog on it. Didn't give up and move onto his backlog halfway. Gotta respect and reward the commitment.
i want to watch a video of you guys finishing these up because those minis are some of the coolest i've ever seen. Do i want to buy warhammer now? yes. Can i afford it? not even a little.
The quiz section with Lukas's "I will look like a knight in shining armour...and this Tw*t..." had me absolutely dying :D I think on this one I will give it to Emil, his conversions were bonkers, and the Nagash conversion was spectacular. Loved the Bloodletters and will be looking forward to the Be'lakor from Lukas.
The banner is amazing! I laughed so hard though when I saw the lightning bolt on Lukas’ forehead. The conversions are epic, Emil, and that truly is a lot of work you got through, but I think my vote goes to Lukas.
Oooft that banner pushed Lucas over the edge for the win but both of you knocked it out of the park with what you achieved in the timescale - great work and great video as usual
Lukas definitely followed the assignment better even though I don't love his finished product. I have a feeling the tomb kings are going to be absolutely amazing when they're done though.
It's between sticking to the mission brief or just getting things done. But for a 24hr endurance challenge, to me, it has to be determined by what you accomplished and Emil just got more work done in the end.
On one hand, the freehand banner from Lukas is sick. On the other hand, it really only looks like half of all of the minis are painted since the legs are just black. Gotta go to Emil for this one

Hey squidmar can you do tyranids please
@@ghostXD00 I'm pretty sure i would be able to do it! :)
Ok ok!!!!!😃😃😃🤟🤟🤟
In the video I love your rick and morty shirt
@@SquidmarMiniatures omg please do i just started them
and i would like a guide maybe😮
Its not a 24 h painting challenge. We are witnessing a social experiment of two grown men slowly drifting into madness the longer they stay awake. Share the box boys.
That freehand banner image is worth 300K views alone and still this is such a funny video from you guys. Never change
We did have a lot of fun making it hahaha
@@SquidmarMiniatures that banner is something i'd throw on a monitor, would look at it while listening to Lacrimosa
This one is hard. Gotta love Emil's chaotic energy, but that freehand banner from Lukas and his sticking to his plan earns my vote.
💔
@@SquidmarMiniatures my vote goes for you Emil don't cry
@@ShuTheIdiot haha thanks
Lukas went hard in this challenge! Great to see his personality really shine through! Loved that Harry Potter Bolt!
Have to side with Emil on this one. The conversions look incredible, and so much painting got done! Can't wait to see the finished models, from both!
The freehand banner is simply outstanding, but I have to give the vote to Emil for overall variety and details. Both of you are amazing!
You should do a video like this where you dont set an arbitrary timeline for the painting. I would love to see how you do just painting to your liking!
The Khorne stuff is super cool but I have to give it to Emil. It looks like he got a lot more done in 24hrs. Very jealous of those conversions!
Right, so Lukas did a 24 hour painting challenge and Emil ... converted and painted some stuff during a 24 hour period. Box obviously goes to the only one that did the challenge!
look at the intro again
Can't paint it if it's not been converted yet.
Also, the Harry Potter scar made me snort out loud during my lunch break at work 😅
the amount of fun you're having transfers through the screen! And as always great results and stunning minis both of you, keep it up!
Lukas's models look amazing and he gets my vote, both for the amazing banner work and the fact he managed to stay on target the true impossible goal of mini painters everywhere lol
I love how these 24hr marathon challenges are a staple of Warhammer painting videos now, it's a weird combo but such a fun one to watch.
SPLIT the box, and try a 24 hour challenge again painting it for the first 22 hours, and the last 2 hours play a game (while SUPER exhausted).
And look at where we are now, tomb kings… being released again!
Can’t wait 😊
Wow, that army reveal at 18:09 was really cool. Your paint jobs served the models on a table really, really well. I love it when the vibrant colors sort of make the individual model pop, while also creating this greater army cohesion.
Speaking of - wow, just taking a second to admire the sculptors for keeping not only model composition in mind, but the composition of many models put together like that. All the demon wings, all the spears. Very cool
Need to go with Emil on this one for the amount painted, but that freehand banner was incredible. Love watching your videos.
This has got to be the greatest Warhammer channel on TH-cam
Well it's really hard to compare such vastly different things. Maybe you should get a second box and decide in a 24h marathon who paints it better.😅 I really like those videos.
Yep 24 hour marathon on who can paint the best Horus Heresy boxset :) Then you could auction it off for charity :)
This ftw
Gotta admit Lucas efforts were absolutely amazing! The colours pop where they need to and just look so sweet.... but my vote goes to Emil, the work that goes into conversions and including the drying times which really slow you down... those conversions were nice and the effort that went into the painting!
Swole Lucas was equally unexpected as well as friggin hilarious! I couldn’t stop laughing throughout that segment 🙌🏻😂🙌🏻
I love Emil's conversions, and gotta give props for the work done on all that different stuff. But the one who has more of an army and stuck to his guns is Lukas, so my vote goes to him.
This is the most chaotic video you’ve done in a long time, and I am all for it 😂
I LOVED the quiz and gym intermission! It makes a huge difference in your mental health and focus to get some laughter in and some sweat in as well! Emil's army looks amazing, but looking at what was painted during this challenge... I have to go with my boy Lukas.
I wouldnt even be able to do belakor in 24 hours.
That Khorne army paint scheme and banner deserves the win. Mind you, those skink conversions look fantastic.
You guys are madmen :)
I'll vote for both of you ! Share the box and make another challenge with your 30k space marines as opponents !!!
Lukas needs to win this one, awesome freehand and great vibrant colours!
Lukas did a kickass paint job. That banner was a thing of beauty
That banner looks unreal however... the amount of painting done by emil is outstanding in 24hrs give yourself a pat on the back man Emil wins from me
This is such a fun video, competition aside, it's clearly just a group of friends fooling around and clearly showcasing their excellent talents!
Going with Emil on this one. Well done gents, working solidly for 24 hours is not easy or pleasant especially in those last few hours when your body is screaming for sleep
LUCAS's Paint job has given me a few ideas to paint a new Deamon that I have been setting on for some time. Great work both of you
Both guys did amazing job on those models but I just love conversions and kitbashes so my vote goes to Emil. Skeletons and aztecs are my two favourite themes so combining them is perfection
Quality from Lukas is brilliant but i also love the colours Lukas has picked, everything looks amazing. Emil conversions are awesome and love the colour scheme of his armies as well, but i think Lukas wins.
Lukas all day those swords and wings look sick! And his forehand banner is top tier painting
You know you're doing what you love when the prize for painting is more painting
Lukas' freehand put it over the top for me. It was close, though.
I think you guys should just share the box and do a 24 hour challenge on the box as a duo project.
I really love the color scheme on Lucas' deamons, but have to go with Emil for the ammount done in 24h, and resulting conversions!
Tomb kings into seraphon is genius. Very cool stuff. My vote is for the Squidman.
i'm new to the hobby, you really pulled me into painting with your videos but i was wondering do you have any suggestions for like.. which miniature a new person should choose, along with which colors and how you paint it? would love to copy it step by step
Check out the video we did last week maybe ;)
The editing on this was awesome.
I don't love all of Lukas' paint job, but that freehand banner would win anything.
Emil didn't seem to do a 24 hour painting challenge so definitely lost. Would love to see those kitbashed minis painted up
Emil understood the assignment, he ignored the assignment, and he still completed more miniatures in 24 hours than I complete in 6 months. So I think I've gotta give my vote to him.
That throne alone is amazing. Good job. Pretty incredible.
The two armies are BEAUTIFUL but this time, my vote needs to go to Emil. Thanks for the content, it's really good!
Lucas definitely wins. Like he actually painted what he was challenged to paint, and they look very cool
Did he though? 🤣
Tomb Kings stayed up 24 hours to destroy popular youtuber
True story
Very cool! Those wings have inspired me to finally paint my dragon that has been collecting dust for far over a year after I primed it!!! So thanks for that!
I love the yellow as opposed to the red for the bloodletters and Belakor. That was really slick.
I really like this bromance mentor relationship you guys habe going in. Its ver wholesome to watch!
The bloodletters look amazing. At first when I heard the scheme I thought he was just being lazy but it looks amazing. The conversions are very cool. I love the Seraphon astrolith bearer. My vote is that you buy two boxes and give one to each of you.

That freehand banner is insane, Lukas has got this one for sure. Loved the chaotic energy guys
You guys seemed to have quite a fun time, loved the banter on each other. The editing made the experience even better!
Perhaps it's the first time I noticed but Lukas Potter scar and the buff makes him a total chad lol
I love Lukas's work, those colours really pop out.
I'd give it to Emil here I think he just accomplished so much and I respect the concept of switching to whatever keeps you motivated.
I'm constantly amazed by the stunning detail you achieve WITHOUT MAGNIFICATION. You must have the eyesight of jet fighters.
Emil winner for the madness of conversion,Lucas love your color sheme too..
Bravo friends, give you more time ,like 72hours,no need to rush ..
Can't believe Emil managed to do all that stuff in just 24 hours. He surely get's my vote.
Lukas's psinting is sick. Sadly he was unable to finish more before this harsh deadline.
Lukas actually did the challenge, and that colorscheme is really nice, so hes the winner in my book :)

Prize goes to Lucas for the big boy guns pump though.
I would consider it a Tie, you both did amazing! Lukas with that banner and Emil with the kitbashing! Love your work and content!
Emil's definatly got this one for all the crazy Chaotic creativeness! Fantastic video again.
I vote for Emil because he had an amazing paint scheme, amazing conversions, and painted most of his challenging, not taking more than half of his miniatures out of the challenging like Lukas did. But Lukas's banner was emaculant, even if the rest of his colors were pretty simple he did good
Lukas for the win, his paint job and banner are masterful
Lucas won it hands down! Free handing that banner and finishing early? Yep! He's got my vote
Lukas is such a great addition to the channel, seriously. Emil, give him a raise.
Just wanted to say the channel is looking great, A+ content and just beautiful painting. You really make me try harder and try new things, I'm a painter with one working eye and no depth of field lol, who just lives to paint/ create and 3d print in any spare time I have. Lukas stick to his demons all the way with that free hand banner is sweet

Hard to choose, gotta go with Emil's
I really like what Emil did, but I have to give this one to Lucas. He committed to that army, and went full hog on it. Didn't give up and move onto his backlog halfway. Gotta respect and reward the commitment.
i want to watch a video of you guys finishing these up because those minis are some of the coolest i've ever seen. Do i want to buy warhammer now? yes. Can i afford it? not even a little.
Emil got this one, I think Lukas should have used his first Belakor scheme for his army
The quiz section with Lukas's "I will look like a knight in shining armour...and this Tw*t..." had me absolutely dying :D
I think on this one I will give it to Emil, his conversions were bonkers, and the Nagash conversion was spectacular. Loved the Bloodletters and will be looking forward to the Be'lakor from Lukas.
Lukas absolutely murdered that challenge. He gets my vote.
2:18 idk if anyone has mentioned this, but the shot of the camera screen is fantastic and a really nice touch
It hurts me watching you destroy minis that will never get a reprint, but you are happy and it turned out amazing, so good job 😊
Amil and Lukas both sets of miniatures are awesome but the Bloodletters with their banner tipped it for me. Lukas you deserve the box set
Lukas definitely followed the assignment better even though I don't love his finished product. I have a feeling the tomb kings are going to be absolutely amazing when they're done though.
Lukas definitely wins in my eyes but I love what Emil put together. Very cool stuff. I definitely want to see that Belakor done
That banner by Lukas was fire, got to give it to him but this entire video was chaotic brilliance.
Great video! As much as I love Emil's work here, Lukas wins it for me. Loving the khorne scheme!
Now we need round 2 where you lads finish what you started, I want to see Belakor and Nagash 100% done!
The conversions look amazing, but gotta vote for Harry Potter... err I mean Lukas. That freehand banner is lovely.
I feel betrayed. my heart is broken.
It's between sticking to the mission brief or just getting things done. But for a 24hr endurance challenge, to me, it has to be determined by what you accomplished and Emil just got more work done in the end.
Definitely a vote for Lukas! That Belakor is looking amazing now
On one hand, the freehand banner from Lukas is sick. On the other hand, it really only looks like half of all of the minis are painted since the legs are just black.
Gotta go to Emil for this one
Lucas for the win. Those demons just pop so much.
That banner looks soo good!! Amazing job! But my vote goes to Emil for the amount of work done in 24h
