Witch kind of 3D printer do you need for the files from the Witchsong? Gat 0 clue about + just started with painting by watching your vids now for a while and took a risk to start.
Theres a highschooler at my local game shop that trounces all of us twice his age. We had a speed contest and he finished 2nd and took almost 4 hours less time than everyone else there. We keep hyping him up as much we can can to encourage him to keep going.
Video idea. You both get three models painted by painters. You do not tell or show each other what you're having done. From who, or how much it is. Once you both recieve the models, you give them to each other. Your task is then to put them in the order of what you think cost least to most. And guess how much each one cost. You can make it a competition
E100 Child labour, high value for money! E200 not worth it imho E140 way better, maybe rebase lol E500 Amazing but I wouldn't pay 500 for it. Emil - Really nice!!! Lukas - deffo worth a piece of toast when he is sleeping under the stairs.
I love the paintjobs. All pro painters for sure. Also nice idea of involving the teamspirit in the competition. Have you ever thought about "you teaching random dudes painting for a day and than see how they got better"- competition?
I actually really rate the Night Goblins. While they are muted I think the painter did a great job in making them look like they are in a gloomy environment, and their up-close details are amazing!
Lucas is both excellent at painting and super hard working - there are so many times we see him saving the video by working overtime to produce beautiful work
All of these were absolutely fantastic. The 17 year old and the golden demon painter were some of my favourites but I don't think I could ever be as good as Amy of these.
My least favourite was the golden demon winner's one - it just didn't look as coherent as the rest although I'm sure close up they're all immaculate. Favourite was probably Lukas's skaven, although really hard to choose to between them. Fantastic work from everyone.
Thanks for the feedback is very interesting. I also think is per interesting the topic about what each person think is more "important": smoothness, volumetry, coherence, etc. And i think that debate is part of the beauty of this hobby 😊
I agree, especially when you consider they were more expensive than all the others combined. Though TBF giving someone Khorne miniatures and stipulating "glowing green" sounds like setting them up for failure.
For 500 Euros I was expecting more... like the bases alone are not on par with the 100 Euros job, still excellent but not what I was expecting for a 500 Euros paint job. :P
Nah the 500e is the proper price! the one 100e is just way too cheap! He probably put atleast +20h work into it so thats a super shitty compensation for your time like 5e/h...
some of these i feel come down to paint style. squidmar guys seem to prefer more extreme lighting paint jobs. i personally love the subtle take of colors, it feels more natural. all great work from all though
My favorite would have been the Storm cast. They are silky smooth and for 100 eur, they were a steal ! Did your staff know which warbands you guys painted ?? 😜😜 Great paint jobs overall :)
I’m calling it now the one that was made by a 17 year old is going to become a golden deamon winner and I wouldn’t be surprised if he wins 1st out of everyone
Lucas had a great paint job, but I also thought the minis were the most dynamic and impressive! Maybe that affected the decision making… also, that 17 year old!! I don’t believe it. Amazing paint skills.
Wish you had a larger audience vote, that said, I just love these videos, and I love that you painted some minies too. Nice twist to the fiver theme videos.
Whaaaat, but I really, really loved the goblins! They were like... My favorites! I guess maybe the paintjob looked better on camera than in person? But the metals on the goblins was really cool... booooooo for the 99 points. Deserved more
me ,as someone who only painted like two necron warriors at all, can see the upgrade in skill but i think the upgrade in price is something i could not agree. I think that Jonas Michael is the biggest winner with thatn attention he now got
Ibai is my personal favorite because I love the way he did the bones and skin, but Lucas is my second favorite from all the ones shown. Ibai and Lucas, like you said Emil, kinda have the same style which I really like!
I felt like the golden demon was one of the weaker ones they looked great but the green didn't blend in the red, it just kinda felt like it sat on one side the mini well the red sat on the other, it didnt feel like a green glow on red armor, it felt like half red half green plates of armor, but my favorite would have to be those eldar models or the scaven color palette chooses on those were fantastic. 😚👌
Great video…Love what you guys do. Any chance of painting tutorials in the future?? Would really like to listen and watch Lucas’s process for painting. Take care.
This was a fun competition. I think my fav was Lukas's rats and my least fav was the goblins(very dull and muted from a distance). Are there more pictures of the paint jobs posted somewhere?
I know it's a lot of money, even if considering the level of the job done, it's actually not expensive. Anyway, to show that way the results and analysis of all this is a pleasure, because of variations, creative and individual choices.
Always good to see painted minis. Where is the Titan Diorama? I’m excited to see it. I think it’s almost done. I hope it’s going well. I’m sure you will be glad when it’s done.
Man I have to say my favourite was the goblins. All were really impressive tho! Really enjoyed this video and would like to see more like it - peace ✌️

“How much does he cost?” “Yes.” I am lol already. I’d be curious to see a vid on how painters who have good portfolios but know nothing about Warhammer do (unless you’ve already done that? I should go look).
EPIC MINIS. $1 A MONTH. SERIOUSLY. www.myminifactory.com/users/WitchsongMiniatures
Quick question! did the fiverr artists knew it was you, or was it secret shopper style?
Witch kind of 3D printer do you need for the files from the Witchsong? Gat 0 clue about + just started with painting by watching your vids now for a while and took a risk to start.
@@ImLuckyPunk a resin 3d printer would be the right kind for printing minis like Witchsong.
@@TheRyanMeredith ahh thanks. Now I dont have that or never thouched 3D printing. Soo I guess its kinda no good to sub to witchsongs
What is that tune at the end?
That kid is 17 and can give most of the painters a run for their money. Crazy...
😮
A run for it? That kid can take my money. The jewel alone was better than half of what I can do. His technique and skill level is incredible
@@musicismandatory I agree, he kicks ass, if he continues to paint by the time he reaches 30 he is gonna be crazy good

@@Raistling good time for a refresh
I thought Lucas had a stunning paint job, so good
Yes! The best imho!
E100 Child labour, high value for money!

E500 Amazing but I wouldn't pay 500 for it.
Emil - Really nice!!!
Lukas - deffo worth a piece of toast when he is sleeping under the stairs.
Wow the skin/fur on those Skaven is just gorgeous!
(I also really liked the goblins, not as moody as the rest but very stylised and well executed)
I love the paintjobs. All pro painters for sure. Also nice idea of involving the teamspirit in the competition. Have you ever thought about "you teaching random dudes painting for a day and than see how they got better"- competition?
This is an awesome idea, would love to see it. Also good because they can decide what’s the best “bang for buck” techniques to teach.
Would love this video!! Could also probably pick alot of techniques up from that!
I'll 2nd... 3rd... 4th... er... 49th this suggestion; what a great idea.
This is a really good idea for sure !!
I actually really rate the Night Goblins. While they are muted I think the painter did a great job in making them look like they are in a gloomy environment, and their up-close details are amazing!
The violet/purple of their robes looks so rich and soft; like velvet.
They did a great job but a few more hours giving the robes and squids some highlights would of been awesome.
Same they are my favorite, they also showcase what the faction represents the most IMO. Love how everyone thinks so differently tho
Agreed. The rusty spots were great additions that definitely took some time to add in
Yeahhh theyre rad af

That Shadeborn warband has to be my favorite. The colors are just so nice.
I really like the green glow themed ones! It is really nice to see similary themed models from different painters, really highligts different styles.
those khorny lads looked amazing i love how decisive they look and the face and arm on the big guys was just perfection, love these fiver videos
Love the Skaven. Great mix of muted and popping bright colours 😊
“Move outa the way old man”
-Lukas 2023
1:50 is this a Mark Rober's tune?
You guys are tough critics, I was utterly humbled by all of those paint jobs.
The gesture of Lukas in 12:28 about the 17 years old guy...
My least favourite was the golden demon winner's one - it just didn't look as coherent as the rest although I'm sure close up they're all immaculate. Favourite was probably Lukas's skaven, although really hard to choose to between them. Fantastic work from everyone.
I really didn't like how he alternated which half was ghostly.

Yup same. By far my least favorite tbh. The others were all ones id want to own but id actually pass on those lol

6:50 only thought apart from being amazed is i think he could have made the green brighter to get a glowing effect
I’m commenting so that Lucas can have food for this week.

Skaven is my favorite race, excellent paint job
Skaven, with glowing green? That's a good pick, warp stone anyone? :D
I friken love this series!!! ❤
Banger after banger… the sheer talent of these painters is astounding. My favorite has to be the Skaven… you can’t go wrong with the rad rats
so very cool! all these style. all the artists. Loved it!
Keen to see more on this project at some point! Looks good Jon.

I can tell how much effort went into this. Kudos!
Love the videos and the quality of those warbands was amazing!
Show the minis just a few seconds longer if you can please.. :).. they look amazing and the vid is fantastic !!
For the theme being "glowing green" i was surprised how muted most of the grees were. They all looked fantastic, just not how I expected.
The rats have such dynamic poses. Awesome!

Great concept, as Always! Your paintjobs dude are super cool
That rat pack is nuts. I need to get those asap.
I'm going to have to give it my all to make them look 1/2 as good as these ones.
I like it when Lukas buys expensive things! I think he should do so every week.
excellent conceit, really fun seeing how vastly different people interpret a commission. That 17 year old? Woo Boy!
This is my favorite thing y'all do!
Emils warband were my favourite, but they were all great as usual

its got to pop i like all of them ....all got own way to paint. the 500 was best
These dudes are about to have an avalanche of business
Day Lucas goes all out is the day he is the golden demon winner.

he did well didnt he!
Wow, all so amazing.
Those Rats were amazing 😮❤
These fiverr videos are the best!
Very interesting to see! I think my favourites were the dark elves. (if that was even what they are?)

I think the apprentice is out doing the master more and more…..WTG Lucas
some really nice minis ... damn , great video!

Jonas's was my favorite of the Fiverr painters, but Emil painted my favorite warband and did it perfectly, so I gotta give it to him.
