@@poopfart65 Cops are generally called if things get out of hand. Usually it's campus officers that are their patrolling and making sure things don't get out of hand. We have the same thing happen on my university campus at ASU where cops are called to stand watch if anything gets out of hand and sadly, students have tried to fight, only to get pushed back and told they can't touch him due to the first amendment. So while everyone else hates these guys, they are entitled to freedom of speech and protest. So the best thing to do is to ignore them or if you can, complain to the higher ups at the campus to control protesters.
This is the way to handle a situation like this.. most people just scream and get angry and that doesnt lead anywhere, it just creates more hate.

As an older non-religious person sometimes I become bitter with the intolerance portrayed by many. I grew up Christian. I actually read the Bible, and I know that Jesus spent his time with the outcasts of society - prostitutes, immigrants, the diseased and the oppressed. So many people have lost the message of love.
I think maybe the younger generation did read their Bibles and don't just accept the blind hate that spews out everywhere across America. Maybe things aren't entirely hopeless.

I’m gay. I used to go to my local church every Sunday. Until they told me that when I wore a shirt and pants instead of a dress that I was disrespecting the Lord. They were usually pretty homophobic, under the radar.. I still believe in God, but no longer go to church.

In the bible, when a crowd was about to stone an adulterous woman to death, Jesus came forward and told the crowd that he who was without sin may throw the first stone. No one in that crowd was able because everyone there was a sinner. We are all sinners who have no right to judge anyone else. The only one who is without sin is Jesus Christ, and he refused to condemn the woman.
Jesus taught us that the most important commandment is to love the Lord God above all else, and the second most important is to love our neighbors as ourselves.
The saying goes: "Love the sinner, hate the sin"
Now I believe homosexuality is not a sin, but in the end, I'm just a human. God will give final judgment. The most we can do is spread love. All laws of God can be followed if we simply love. Have a nice day : )

One is where he creates everything just by saying it and one is where he breathes the life into us. It portrays both sides of him, his divinity, and his familiarity. I was born into a Christian family with my grandfather being the preacher but I also was born liking the Same sex which honestly I have only told close friends and people online where I can have something to hide behind..I have cried thinking I am going to hell just because I can't control who I feel attracted to..watching this made me cry and I always watch this video when I feel alone and scared..so whoever that was singing.Thank you for helping me through a tough time

Half the new testament was written by paul, and sexual sin is one of the worst and most common sins. Its different than all the other sins because its sin against your own body. They think that it means homosexuality is a sin but let me give you some background on the book of Leviticus: that book in the Bible is more or less a set of laws given to the people of ancient isreal. The purpose of these laws was to keep the isrealites set apart from the nation's that surrounded them and with good reason. The surrounding nation's practiced idol worship and God didn't want his people adapting any of the peagon practices and traditions. Fo example of those laws forbidded the Isrealites from cutting their hair on the sides of their head. These laws were written because God didn't want any of the customs that went along with idol worship. I am a Christian and guess what I'm GAY. SOLO ™ actually it never says anything in the bible about gay people. The "man shall not lie with man" is a miss translation and it actually said "man shall not lie with boy" referring to sleeping with kids, so God doesn't hate gay people

Yeah, I agree with Zeke. Even if He did hate the sin, is it still right to treat the "sinner" with such violence? I've came across a lot of priests (growing up Catholic myself), and one mentioned that you cannot achieve anything (such as sharing faith or whatever the case) by treating other "sinners" like monsters. Granted, a lot of people hated him, but he is so right. Haha.
