Just got covid days before my first ivf egg fresh transfer... Felt devastated... Had to put a hold on that... Only had 3 eggs too... So don't know what to expect. Wish you all the best, Hellynn.
I am back your channel again. So sorry that you caught covid. but don't be too harsh on yourself. You are doing so so well. All that you feel is valid and needed. it is unavoidable to feel what you feel while on a tough journey. There is one thing I think how would I be stronger when things hit me. And I think about the classic quote ' it is not the destination, it is the journey' ( like can I enjoy the journey to reach the destination) do that with IVF. My partner thinks I am crazy cos what we want is the destination!. But I still thinking about it cos I know that my journey will not be easy and I want to be strong when the path is rough. .I wish you many healthy eggs that go through the embryo stage next round. I will come round. Sending you light and love Hellynn. On a side note I feel less lonely and inspired every time I watch your video. Perhaps it is your modesty and your way of talking. It is quite personal and calming. It made me think of doing a channel about my journey too
You are absolutely right! There was a moment when that saying really hit home. I knew it intellectually but I think I didn't really get it until after my 5th retrieval. This moment will never come again. I have to be in the now. Thank you so much for coming back! You should totally share your story too, I would definitely come and check it out. Wishing you lots of happiness today. ❤
Mydear, don't blame yourself you have done your best. Am going through a similar situation but have decided to use a donor egg. It wasn't an easy decision but I had to go through that. Am in the process right now
Thank you for your kindness❤ I am happy for you that you've made the decision that is right for you and will bring you your baby. Sending you love and prayers for this next step in your journey.
Thank you so much. You will get through it all. And always remember you are the most important person in all of these. So your happiness and mental health matters most. Lots of love from this end
I just got Covid on my 7th day of Stimulation and my cycle was cancelled. How many weeks did you take to recover from COVID before going into your next round
Hi 👋 I did get the vaccine a couple of months before starting my first cycle of IVF. It had been about 6 months after when I caught it! My hospital tells me it’s fine to get vaccines and it won’t affect IVF.
@@hellynn_j Price is right! Do the prices u mentioned include medication? Do the clinics offer treatment to women who want to be single mothers by choice ie: donor sperm? S. Korea might be my next stop. Thank you for your reply.
@@crystalbee9706 Yes, including meds! This is one area I found Korea to be so outdated.. they require women to be married for IVF (maybe not for foreigners though.. but they def don’t have donor sperm available so you would probably have to source your own and ship to korea) They’re so modern with everything else except for their strange, conservative laws. Heard they are working on changing that now.
@@hellynn_j Oh no. Unfortunately, most countries have the same conservative laws as S. Korea re; IVF being for married people only which sux coz S. Korea has a reputation for high standards and excellence. Do a lot of the locals speak English in S. Korea? Can you recommend a good IVF clinic for me? Thank you for your reply.
@@crystalbee9706 Yes, a lot of locals speak a basic level of English. My clinic is the OG of fertility clinics and has an international department and several branches. If you can DM me on Instagram @hellynn I'm traveling right now but will share a list of foreigner friendly fertility clinics once I get back to Korea next week!

Some cycles are canceled when you get covid, but mostly when you are super sick with a fever and when closer to the retrieval!
Good luck for fifth round
Thank you😊
Hi Hellyn, did you continue doing the estrogen pills for IVF cycles 5-7?
No. I had to take estrogen in between 5/6 bc I had spotting issues due to low hormones but other than that, nope!
Thnk u for sharing your story
Thank you for listening to my story ❤
I just got Covid on my 7th day of Stimulation and my cycle was cancelled. How many weeks did you take to recover from COVID before going into your next round
It took me a couple of weeks to recover and start stims. Luckily I was on a month break from stims when I found out I was sick!
❤
Did you have the covid vaccines?
Did they recommend any boosters?

2 of my friends died after the covid jabs 😢.
New sub here. How much is an IVF cycle in S. Korea?
Hi there, nice to meet you here! For foreigners without insurance it's between $3K to 8K per cycle depending on which clinic.

Manuka Honey might help?
I'll look into this, thanks! I was taking royal jelly for a while in the beginning.
@@hellynn_jWhat did the total jelly do for you.
I’m currently taking it.
@@TheGistPartner hmm not sure, it was too sweet for me so I stopped taking it - i only took it for a couple months in the beginning.
