Wow! I am so happy for you! Congratulations on your pregnancy! 🎉🎉🎉 I will hold you in my thoughts for a healthy pregnancy and birth🥰 Thanks for the inspiration today.
@crystalbee9706 I got pregnant naturally with the help of injections (menopur) . I also advise you to take folic acid 3 months before u want to get pregnant, but ask ur doctor
14:35 WOW congrats on your embryos! 👏 May I ask why you personally don’t want to test all of your embryos before attempting to transfer them - especially being age 40 and having day 4 embryos or any embryos at lower level grading? Just curious since I know there’s pros & cons for it either way. Praying for your success! 🙏
Best of luck with th transfer! I'm sure at least one will be successful 🤗 I'm turning 43 this year, and been single for 6 years now, so I have decided to do IVF with donor sperm. I have very low ovarian reserve also, my AMH is 0.07, and unfortunately I won't be able to have several rounds of IVF because of the cost. So I'm praying for a miracle to happen and have one healthy embryo.
Thank YOU for sharing! Us low AMH gals have to stick together and share info… and thank you for your super sweet compliment! Im not sure about looks but definitely have the maturity of someone in their 20s😝💕
@@hellynn_j I'm 39 now. Doing well. I also went through lot of iui and ivf but didn't get any results. Then I switched to herbal medicines then my amh and egg quality increased. Few months later we got pregnant. I was taking ayurveda medicines from agada ayurveda in kochi, kerala
Keep in mind that amh does not indicate your total egg reserves. It indicates the amount of eggs that are maturing each month. There is no way to tell what your total dormant egg reserves are. Amh is new and very misunderstood it means that a woman has fewer follicles that mature to eggs each month (not always a bad thing when trying naturally since only one egg can drop per month and the rest die off! It can also mean that you are losing less eggs per month)
@@emilykay7495 Hi! Is that so? My doctors told me that I have a shorter runway bc it indicates my low reserve, as AMH goes down as your egg reserve goes down. If there are studies to prove otherwise that would be exciting news😊
Thanks for sharing your journey, I can empathize with you much. I had a miscarriage 3 years ago at 31 and it was such a deep loss. We didn’t use any contraception but didn’t get pregnant again. Found out my AMH was very low for my age (2.6 for 33yo, ultrasound show 0-2 follicles only) and was advised to try IVF straight away knowing the chance is low. Miraculously, I found out I was pregnant 1wk after the test result, and now counting down to holding our rainbow baby in 2-3 wk time, thank God! I credit my success story similar to what you shared, a change of diet and lifestyle. Eat a variety of food, including organ meat, bone broth, salmon and fatty fish, red meat, focusing on quality (grass fed, cage free or wild caught), go cold turkey on caffeine and very little on alcohol, go for sunshine to get more vitamin D, it’s so critical to regulate all our hormones! And yes, no plastic especially on hot food, no perfume etc. Surprisingly or not, these are living principles for good health, and fertility is a byproduct of that! You can check out these 2 books that are so impactful in my journey: Deep Nutrition by Catherine Shanahan and It starts with the egg by Rebecca Fett. All the best for those who are trying!
Thank you so much for sharing. I'm in the same situation my AMH is very low I'm 36 now. You're so lucky to have a husband to support you. I'm on my own at the moment but so concerned about having a little one one day. I found it very hard to go through the whole process on my own. I wish you all the best keep us updated and you're absolutely Gorgeous 🥰
Hey there! Thank you for your kind words. You are very brave and I hope everything works out in your favor... it WILL!! Sending lots of good energy your way❤❤❤
Hellynn thank you for sharing and helping so many. Please remember that emotional blocks, neuroplasticity and intuition or the 'spiritual' connection or knowing that you have with your baby are ALL parts of the journey. All pieces of the puzzle, including the IVF process! May you babies come SOOOOON!!! XXXX Love and support
Idk if this is helpful at all but I'm 38 with an amh of 6.34ng/ml and I've still been trying to conceive my 3rd child for almost 5 years in April. Amh is only one part of the picture for sure. I wish you so much success!
Thank you for sharing! Yes, you're absolutely right ... AMH is only one small part of it. You have a high AMH - do you have PCOS? I have a lot of friends with the opposite problem as me also... please let me know where you are in your journey! I'll be cheering you on.
@@hellynn_j oh you're so welcome! I am very blessed and thankful to have had two children and I don't take that for granted at all, I know you are wanting your first child and learning from watching your circumstances, I am praying for you so much that you receive this blessing.❤️ if God doesn't bless me again, I cannot complain. I basically have unexplained secondary infertility. I've had multiple chemical pregnancies (around 10-15) and a couple of ectopic pregnancies...They were diagnosed as "pregnancies of unknown location" bc nothing was ever visualized on ultrasound. My hcg levels went up, down, then up again, which is a major sign of an ectopic....I did methotrexate injections to terminate bc of the danger of rupturing fallopian tube. I was also heavily bleeding and hcg wasnt near high enough to be a viable pregnancy based on dates...that was in 2022. But trying since 2019. Anywho, I've done RPL testing, HSG, hysteroscopy, endometrial biopsy, and finally a laparoscopy. Nothing has been found except an elevated bcl6 biomarker on the Receptivadx test, which is associated with silent endometriosis in 2022. I had a lap at the end of last year bc of that test result and the lap came back negative for endometriosis, so back at square one. My doctor is saying it's AMA(egg quality) issues, but that doesn't explain why so many losses when I was younger. The chemical pregnancies started between my first and second children at 29 years old, and then continued after my second child, way before 35. I haven't pursued ivf. My RE say that ivf can't help recurrent pregnancy loss, only infertility. I will be following you on your journey and will add you to my prayer list. 🥰 eta: forgot to say no the doctor hasn't diagnosed me as having pcos, rather "pco" which is basically polycystic ovaries/ many follicles but without the "syndrome". My AFC is 27+, but I ovulate on my own every cycle and always have. I guess i was born with an abnormally high number of eggs, but it seems that a lot of them are cracked perhaps 😅. (Gotta laugh to keep from crying). 🤗
@@classicredwine hi, I thought I replied to @hellynn_j but youtube must have tossed my comment 🫤. I don't have pcos. I ovulate every cycle and my testosterone is normal. I have also had two kids already. My doctor said I am PCO, which means I just have a lot of follicles, but not PCOS, I don't get cysts from lack of ovulation....my afc is 27+. I think it's rare, but some women are born with mlre egg reserve than others. Think of the women who have babies at 50....those are probably women like me....but clearly I still have fertility issues 😟 not related to egg reserve.
Thanks for sharing with us with your latest update. I followed your journey from the very beginning till now. It’s good to hear that you have 7 embryos. Hopefully everything go well with your transfer. We left messages to each other in your other video. Not sure if u remember me or not. Sadly, I have a miscarriage lately and now under recovery. I got pregnant after 6 months I found out I only have 0.1 AMH. I was all over the moon. However, the baby was now gone and I felt very devastated. I told myself I must carrying on and don’t give up on this journey. I just wanna encourage other women that there’s always hope.
Hey you! Yes of course I remember, from the very first video. I'm so sorry to hear about your MC.. it's one of the hardest things to go through, but just know you are not alone. What helped me through my MC was not thinking about fertility for a while and going on a vacation. I started to just focus on making myself happy in the present moment rather than about getting pregnant,, and that space helped me to heal so I could move forward with IVF later. I am praying for your healing and peace of mind. Sending you SO MUCH LOVE. ❤❤❤❤❤

Good luck on the embryos! I hear pomegranate juice and prenatals should help. Also basic stuff like extra sleep can help prepare for embryo transfer. I’m going through the same process. I wish us both luck! 😊
I’m so crazy - I went further back on your channel to November 2023 and I see where you posted, “IVF and Genetic Testing (#PGT-A) - Should you test your embryos?” and that video answered my question for you. I think I am currently PGT testing my 6 embryos because, at age 41, I have had 6 miscarriages with the last one being a Complete Molar, so I am just too scared to put an embryo in me that doesn’t get a decent embryonic grading as well as PGT test as Euploid / normal. Praying I can find one sooner rather than later - this is such a difficult and emotional journey. ❤ 🙏🏻
This is a really tough journey for sure. I totally understand why you are getting your embryos tested. I may consider doing that if I have to in the future. Good luck to you, I hope we both become mothers very soon ❤

Thank you for sharing your experiences.❤ I can relate very well to what you are going through. We have been trying since 2019. And I have been through 4 IVF attempts without success unfortunately. I will be 39 this summer, and I have been told that I have few eggs left, in addition, my egg quality is poor. It is incredibly tough to go through this, you feel very alone, so it helps to hear about others who are in the same situation. ❤ I have started to make dietary changes and take supplements. So I hope that it can help the egg quality. I wish you the best of luck and hope your baby dream comes true soon 🙏

I had similar stories. I wasn't sure if I want a baby. not because I don't like them, but because I'm not confident I can get pregnant due to my age as well as I have other hormonal issue. Haven’t retested my AMH since the first one, which was lower for my age and my AFC was 7 :/ … then through 4 rounds of egg retrieval this past year which still is unreal and failed transfer recently, so maybe a few more embryo banking before I pursue another transfer. But also not to lightly say that a failed transfer and the whole process, I am still grieving and managing the anxiety with support groups and therapy. Learning a lot and finding safe spaces to acknowledge emotions. Hope we all find our peace and bundle of joy (in any capacity). It’s also been a life changing experience - I got in touch with a registered dietician (it was covered by insurance!), got rid of all the plastic including utensils, glass or stainless steel, all my products to minimize endocrine disrupters, plenty supplements (also did NAD+). Sleep was my biggest change. More as possible.

Hi Hellynn! I'm so thrilled for you as you've hope on this journey 🙏. Same age and AMH profile as you. Can you share what your FSH was? My FSH fluctuates but recently increased to 33. I've now changed jobs and hoping with adequate self care and acupuncture, it drops. What have you been doing to keep yours down? I plan to start IVF end of Feb. Thank you and I pray your transfer is successful🙏🙌
Hi! So nice to meet someone with the same profile as me. My FSH last I checked had gone down to 10. I'm not sure what I did to bring mine down, but I'll share everything I did... Moderate exercise, the Mediterranean diet, meditation, acupuncture, eastern medicine (a potent medicine derived from deer antler) for a couple of months prior to starting IVF. I have heard wheat grass is also supposed to help bring it down, so you should do some research on it! Honestly, I think the biggest thing is managing stress because my best cycle was when I didn't do any of the other stuff but was just stress-free and happy. You are in my thoughts and prayers, please let me know how it goes! 🙏💞
@@hellynn_jthanks for the response. I needed to make a change to my stress levels and so have changed my job. Hello Princess. you look very young. You look my age, 32 years old. I am currently undergoing IVF and my AMH is 0.96 ng/ml. I hope to God it works for me. I have faith that you will have a beautiful girl like me. I am not pregnant yet nor have my eggs been removed, I am at the beginning but I say it by faith ❤️❤️❤️🙌🏻❤️😃😇
Interesting story and so brave of you to be able to do 7 egg retrievals! Did you test your blood always on the same day of your cycle? You will get the best results on day 1-3 of your cycle. My first AMH result was when I was 32 and it was 0,06. This blood was taken on day 18 (so couple of days after ovulation). I was shocked and so devastated. 5 months later I got my AMH tested on day 2 of my cycle and my AMH was 0,34. I would say that it is more trustworthy to test on the same moment and at the same lab. Good luck with your transfer!
Thanks for sharing! Our AMH was the same at one point. Yes, I always got tested on the second day of my cycle, around the same time of day too. It’s very common for AMH to go up and down, for sure! Just a little harder after 35, I think. Are you going through IVF right now?
It’s normal for it to vary by all these amounts all the time. It’s just a measure of what your next couple of months are looking like because it measures the proteins given off by the early follicles.
Few points 1) Asian women loose their egg reserve early. 38 yr Caucasian woman is comparable to 35yr Asian woman. If you are Asian woman above 35 consult Fertility specialist earliest 2) Aneuploidies which causes miscarriages are 80% in women above 42yrs. Around 40yrs 60-70% . Major cause of IVF failure and miscarriage around 40yrs is your age. And wasting time and more egg reserve in trying to naturally conceive or avoiding Fertility treatment for any reason doesn't do any good. Multiple IVF -PGT-A cycles is the answer.
Hi Hellyn, thank you for sharing your journey. I’m 39 yo with low AMH and will be heading to ivf direction after 4 losses with naturally conception. Just wondered whether if your fsh also improved after your AMH improved as well? I’ve not been diagnosed but I think I will be low responder, my FSH has been increasing the past year. Also found way to increase AMH with supplement so trying to tackle my FSH now. Thanks sharing again 💛
It was DHEA did it for me, but first you need to test your testosterone to make sure you are a good candidate for it. If you have optimal or high testosterone DHEA won’t work. My testosterone and DHEAS was both low so taking 25mg daily helped. Recommend it ‘It starts with the egg’ 3rd edition. Also vitamin D can help immensely if you are deficient! Good luck
Hi there, sorry I missed this. It's nice to meet you here :) My FSH was at 10 when I last checked. I'm not really sure what it was at the time my AMH had gone up though, but I don't think it was a problem. I've heard you can improve FSH with wheatgrass, you may want to research that. Hope this helps. xx
@@hellynn_j thank you so much for the reply. I was going to do wheatgrass but then I changed my mind as it contains a lot of mineral including iodine which I’m avoiding due to Graves’ disease. I feel my FSH fluctuates it’s better this month so who knows. Appreciate your response and wishing you lots of baby dust with the FET xx
Agree. It just means our egg count for that cycle is higher, for the most part. But still, that’s good news for people with low AMH getting IVF that cycle🙂
Hi Hellynn, hope your embryo transfered succeed. I also have low AMH, it is 0.333. I got some supplement that you explain in your previous video. But haven't done my blood test again. Btw I want to know how long does your period last? Mine is only 2 days and it is light period. How about you? Could you share ? I don't know how to fix it. in my 20s my period was ussually 7 days long. Hellyn I am looking forward to seeing your reply. Best of Luck Hellyn. Greeting from Indonesia
Hi there, thanks for the kind words of support🥹♥️🙏 I hope my transfer succeeds too!! I would definitely talk to your doc/test before taking some of the supplements, so just wanted to remind you. Especially hormones like DHEA because they can be dangerous to take without monitoring. To answer your question, mine lasts about 3-4 days, and ranges from light to heavy. Much shorter than it used to be😭 You should check with your doc to test if your estrogen is low, because I’ve heard that causes light periods. They have estrogen supplements that can be prescribed, but there are so many other reasons for a short and light period including perimenopause, stress, sudden weight loss etc. Ultimately, you should get tested and talk to your OBGYN about it, but I have friends with similar issues who got IVF and succeeded, so if that is your goal, hope is not lost! Your runway is just very short so you should act now. Are you planning on getting IVF or fertility treatments? I love Indonesia. Hope to visit again in the near future.♥️
I had 4 miscarriages. I lost my 2 fallopian tube for ectopic pregancy. Now my amh is low. My 4 th miscarriage was ivf baby. I really fell down, i was lost my hope!
Not to be a barrier of “bad news” but AMH testing can vary greatly from one lab to another. I have high AMH (non PCOS) but I’ve gone through IVF (male factor) and have gotten it tested many times over the years and it can fluctuate up and down very drastically depending on what lab tests. I tested it once and it was 5.12. Another clinic tested years later and it came back at a 7-something. I tested again somewhere else and it was a 5 something again. A few years later it was a 4.8 or something. The later years where at the same place which is probably showing a proper decline. So if my can vary a whole 2 points UPwards within a few years … this is all within the same country btw.. I can only imagine what testing in a different country would do. I would say the .06 number you got was a fluke since it was so out range with the rest. The rest of your numbers are all consistent and more reliable. I just don’t believe AMH can truly go up. Women do not grow more eggs. You probably know this of course. Just thought I’d share my experience with fluctuations on the opposite end of the spectrum and show why you shouldn’t put too much stock on it. Not to say that you shouldn’t be hopeful for low AMH. That’s of course not where I am going. Just saying to not obsess over this number. Good luck to you!
Thank you for that perspective, I definitely agree with you that they differ by lab! My last two were in a lab at my fertility hospital in Korea. But the reason I don’t think my 0.06 result was a fluke is because during that round we saw one follicle, got one egg, and one embryo. When my AMH tested higher at 0.4, we saw 8 follicles and retrieved 5 mature eggs and got 3 embryos. Yes, your AMH can go up and down drastically (especially for PCOS patients), and for PCOS patients it tends to go up more often than women with DOR. Your AMH is just an indicator of egg reserve so you have an idea, not the absolute number of eggs in your reserve. That is why it goes up and down month to month based on the amount of granulosa cells during that current cycle. We don’t always have the same number of follicles every month. In any case, you are right about this - definitely should not obsess over any numbers. But for women like me who need multiple rounds and have low chances, we look for every reason to celebrate.😊 Thanks for the luck! I transfer in a few weeks!🙏
@@life_as_momo hey there.. i know how you feel. But low AMH doesn’t mean no baby. Just focus on quality not quantity!♥️ i trust you will have your baby.

I'm turning 43 this year, and been single for 6 years now, so I have decided to do IVF with donor sperm. I have very low ovarian reserve also, my AMH is 0.07, and unfortunately I won't be able to have several rounds of IVF because of the cost. So I'm praying for a miracle to happen and have one healthy embryo.

@@amritha825 that is amazing news! Please share which herbal medicine!
Plz suggest herbal medicines and tea @@amritha825
Hi, which herbal medicines helped with your egg quality?@@amritha825
I love your story. Thank you for sharing! Congratulations on your baby.

just had my amh tested for the first time, its 0.07, and I’m only 31. thank you for the tips
You are young though, so it means even though you don’t have a large egg reserve, your quality would be good. There is hope❤️
My amh is 0.22 is there any hope ?
I'm 28 and my AMH is 1.1😅 single and have no plans of marriage or pregnancy but I'm scared because I have PCOD and ovarian tumor in the past
Having an AMH over is outside of the normal range. You should get checked for PCOS. That is probably the reason why you haven’t gotten pregnant
You have PCOS
Thanks for sharing with us with your latest update. I followed your journey from the very beginning till now. It’s good to hear that you have 7 embryos. Hopefully everything go well with your transfer. We left messages to each other in your other video. Not sure if u remember me or not. Sadly, I have a miscarriage lately and now under recovery.

Yes! You're absolutely right. It's just more rare for AMH to go up for older women is all.
Few points
1) Asian women loose their egg reserve early. 38 yr Caucasian woman is comparable to 35yr Asian woman. If you are Asian woman above 35 consult Fertility specialist earliest
2) Aneuploidies which causes miscarriages are 80% in women above 42yrs.
Thanks for your advice!
What did you try that increased your AMH? I’m in the same boat as you, I need to focus on FSH

My progesterone seems to be higher than average lately, but will monitor! I use Mira to track all my hormones.

Hello what was your amh when ur got pregnant?
AMH may go up but our egg reserve don't. We get that from our mother, when she is pregnant. So AMH may be misleading sometimes.

What means AMH ?
@@faatimohamed5401 It’s a hormone that indicates your egg reserve.
I had 4 miscarriages. I lost my 2 fallopian tube for ectopic pregancy. Now my amh is low. My 4 th miscarriage was ivf baby. I really fell down, i was lost my hope!
I'm so sorry for your losses. That must have been so hard.. my heart goes out to you. ❤
But for women like me who need multiple rounds and have low chances, we look for every reason to celebrate.😊
Thanks for the luck! I transfer in a few weeks!🙏
Just found out my amh levels are low.. I am 35 years old, I want atleast one kid.. I am heartbroken 😢

Hi! I just finished my 1st ivf transfer here in Korea because USA basically recommended egg donor option due to my age. Is there assistance for foreigners in Korea for ivf too? I thought it was only available for Koreans living in Korea for 6+ months…
Hi! Nice to meet you🙂 Same… US docs recommended DE for me too. You have to be a Korean citizen or married to one to get government support. To get healthcare coverage, if you have a Korean parent (including in laws) who’s working, I believe you can go under him/her if you have a Korean visa. Even with just the coverage, it’s insanely cheap vs US. Where are you getting it done?
@@hellynn_j I wish I had a little coverage for ivf in Korea but unfortunately I don’t quality for any. But I’m so glad it is much more affordable than the states. I go to 엠여성의원. Where do you go?
@@jbbung9082 Thanks for sharing. I've heard of that clinic! I go to 차병원 강남. Please keep me updated on your progress, and please do join the Facebook group! You'll probably meet some people who have had IVF in Korea, and it's so important to have community to support you.

You doesn't look like 40. What products are you using. I like Korean skin texture. Is it safe to use retinol after transfer?
Hey there, thank you🥰 I'm always switching it up but these days I use Sulwhasoo products. Don't use retinol after transfer! I wish I could because it's great for fine lines but its dangerous for the baby! Stick to vitamin C serums instead. I like Drunk Elephants vita C.
