He gets a lot of hate but he literally bounced back and finished top 3 in MVP voting. PG will always be a winner for that.
He’s not clutch when it comes down to it.. Its all cool during the regular season, but what about when it’s time to be great?
@@gabet8154 u can say that about so many players though u act like PG wasn’t going head to head with LEBRON JAMES in his prime.
@@devdagoat2574 for those two years pg was but after that he just lost that dog in him
@@gabet8154 so 99% of NBA players
The shoulders that he injured & was battling was the real reason he couldn’t finish the second part of the season after All-Star break with a MVP award. Cause he could’ve beat Giannis that Year
It don’t matter how many times PG hits the side of the backboard , you gotta respect bro for his resilience
Facts
yea im not so sure hes been the same since, obviously with the dunking but the rest of his game
@@lebronsthebest6 he’s less athletic but way more skilled
Nah way off p
I respek Indy PG this new 1 idk
I'll never slander him solely for how he was able to still be one of the elite 2-way players of this era after this
S/o pg man he is a tough soul bruh
1 hour he’s in surgery damn that NBA medical staff is DIFFERENT
If you make allot of money or if you work for the government yea you straight when it comes to insurance.
Nothing to do with the nba medical staff, the biggest risk when you have a open fracture like he had is the risk of getting infection. Those type of injuries have to be surgically fixed ASAP. I had the same injury but it was my femur bone
@@Neptunejc so it was like an ER thing like if you got shot type thing no setup just straight to surgery
@@greed8756 yep that's exactly how it was, those type of injuries will get 1st priority in the e.r..no matter if you got insurance or not. I was flown to a different hospital and soon as I touched down I was getting prepped for surgery. 4hrs later I woke up🤷🏽♂️
@@Neptunejc so was it a rod and nail surgery
That injury was horrific. I can't even watch it much less imagine the pain he endured and all the rehab that was involved. To come back physically and emotionally stronger then he was is impressive. I can't even find the right words
Damn. I saw that when it happened. My heart dropped.
.....and you can't _unsee_ it! That was ridiculously gruesome! The whole bench was like Craig and Smokey...
_DAYUM!!_
Ong bro give me chills
It’s crazy how 6 years went by never will forget this but at the same time forgot about it it’s still crazy thinking this happened imagine if that never happened man
He lost atletism after that tbh
@@jayshooter1612 Not really
@@blackspiderman4766 oh yes he did
@@jayshooter1612 I don’t think so, but maybe it was devastating but bone heals better than ligaments
@@jayshooter1612 But look at what he did the 2018-19 season, by your logic if he never lost his athleticism then he would've really went off that year.
People talk a lot of shit but he’s still an all nba player after a bunch of shoulder surgeries and and snapped leg… and now he’s carried the clips to their first ever WCF over the 1 seed. Respect.
He been getting a lot of heat lately but to comeback from that and play the way he was playing in OKC all respect
bro if you remember he was 24 and he just had a breakout season, going into that summer he was going to jump into superstar mode.
Thank you🤝 loved that Heat team but mf Indiana was special
Thank God he didn't feel that pain. I couldn't even imagine how that'd feel
didn't feel it at the beginning but trust me he did at some point
I had a similar break to my arm you don’t feel it for the first like 10 minutes and then it really hits you
@@gavin6839 u serious ?
@@Imtowavy yea bruh, fractured my left ankle and didnt feel it for a solid 20 mins
@@ProfessorWumbology ya broke my shoulder didn't feel it for a good 15
Much respect to this guy. To go through this and two shoulder surgeries man pg is a all-time though guy
You see that tho he got injured Bc he was having a off night an trying to redeem himself I respect it
Stephen Jackson just be spittin’ and I always feel it.
I honestly never knew this happens until like yesterday and my respect for him has gone way up
Im sorry pg. for forgetting about this injury and getting mad at you for your playoff performance. I almost didn’t get a pair of your sneakers man because of it, but I forgot. Got them anyways tho ✊🏽 my boi hope we meet one day
Would be interesting to see what type of conversations Paul George had with Gordon Hayward when he also had a compound leg fracture a few years later but I get that it could be private.
Jack so real though “a lot of people wont get that though... they wont get it”
If you know you know
🙏🙏🙏 PG
Paul George: imma play till my bones stucks out

@Nowhere But Everywhere how do you know he or she has never played basketball? You don't so stfu!
@Nowhere But Everywhere How would you know that?
@@THEKING22 cuz y'all sound 12 and YMCA don't count.

@Nowhere But Everywhere chill its just a joke i know that paul would whoop my ass on the court😂😂😂
Although he played bad this playoffs I’ll always give him props for coming back from this man such a devastating injury and he came back strong
Man really came back better. Some crazy shit
I watched it on live tv and me and my bro looked at each other with eyes and mouth open then then turned off the TV and we was in shock on how gruesome that injury was.
Getting an injury similar to his from 2014 could potentially affect you mentally when getting back in the game of basketball, like it could haunt you for a long time
I tore my patellar tendon and broke my knee and it came out my knee 2 years later I still have not fully recovered and deal with pain. Paul George came back like it was nothing.
Before the injury, he was an athlete. Now, it's not like he isn't still athletic, but he's got more finesse.
I remember watching this when I was in Vegas hotel room I could not believe how did that
The hate for pg real doe everybody clownin em for them pandemic p shit but the man is resilient af 💯
🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
No way!! Hard to believe!
Three jobs at Leonard for not playing threw games while injured

Damn I forgot about this Smfh.
PG lowkey taking shots at Kawhi for sitting out 🤣🤣🤣
PG: * suffers gruesome injury and is obviously never the same athletically*
Media: 🤓 "PG is trash he never reached his full potential"
He broke his tibia and fibula chief, not a career threatening injury. 8-12 month recovery with rehab then your back fine, countless of nba/nfl get it every year. How he played last year was all on him.

I still can't get past that injury to this day. Super cringe every time it's mentioned.
Forreal.. people love to hate on this guy's performance under playoff pressure but they forgot he came from hell and back, basically on his 2nd basketball life.
I think during his recovery is when PG develops this mentality of caring about social media too much.
Is a weird thing bc you want owners to think you still got it but you know deep down you won’t b the same
Lol Pg said its Funny cats hurt and sit out...Hmmm your teammate Kawhi...lmao
Mfs talk shit about him super heavy now but idgaf this is still my daaawg hes still hella dope to me as a baller id still love for him to be a laker man i feel like hes one of the only koo stars left(i say that on eggshells kuz these new cats let me down all the time)
