  • In this video I show how I paint a Seraphon Raptadon for Age of Sigmar using a sort of 2 step slapchop plus technique (if that is even a thing?).

    At first I was in doubt, but your final product is really, really good.
    Amazing, honestly.

    "I'm a lazy painter" proceeds to highlight each individual scale and feather on the entire mini. These are insane, I love the vibrant colors on Raptadons

      Thank you so much! Yeah, I'm lazy - I only spend a lot of time on painting the things I'm interested in 😁

    I am really enjoying watching your color scheme process. being relatively new to miniature painting, I would never think of building up the colors as you do. I have to smile when you say you are a lazy painter, as you put so much work into everything, especially all the edge highlights haha. great stuff

      Haha, well, I'm lazy when it comes to painting stuff I don't really find interesting like metallics. I just try to get them done as quick and easy as I can so that I can spend time on the fun stuff like edge-highlighting 😀

    Beautiful models and great video! Let me ask you - what do you use for your intimal primer- is that GW white scar of another white?

    These are vibrant and beautiful. When you drybrush, are you using the Artis Opus technique of dampening the brush? I've been trying to slap-chop a bit, and still get slightly dusty results from drybrush white with a makeup brush.

    • @dicendemons
      @dicendemons  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! Yes, I'm trying to use their nethod and I think it works a lot better then the completely dry brush I previously used. I still need to practise more I think 😊

      That's retributor gold washed with cryptek armour shade and then highlighted with retributor gold and lastly a touch of canoptek alloy 😊
