Not a massive issue, but bear in mind the auto comes with a Evo 7 GT-A engine rather than the MIVEC full fat Evo 9 engine in the Manual version. More than just a transmission swap. Good luck however you go 👍🏻

I’m surprised you said this model comes with the Evo 8 MR engine because I know the 4 door saloon GTA Evo comes with a weaker 4g63 compared to the manual ones, I owned one and many tuners were telling me the bottom end is weak compared to the manuals as well as a few other small differences
Hey there. The Evo 7 GTA runs a much weaker engine that the Evo 9 Auto wagon which runs the Evo 8 MR engine (non mivec). The Evo 9 Manual Wagon runs the normal Evo 9 sedan (mivec) Engine.

@@seshelbow336 the evo 9 Wagon comes with an 8MR engine. It did run the same turbo size as the evo 7 though as you will see in later episodes.
How similar is the 9 wagon auto box to the airtrek R auto box?

Why does your wagon have an Evo 8 engine in it? Mine has the 9 Mivec engine.
Hey Adam, the auto version of the Wagon came with an 8MR engine, whereas the manual the Mivec.

Wow the automatic Evo makes a lot less power. The manual versions make around 160kw stock.
Hi, thats why we wanted to do a base line dyno.
This car runs a smaller turbo housing, non mivec. These will be covered off later in the series.
