I do snatch and clean pulls based off a % of my front squat max. Then deadlift is it’s own thing when I actually do it. But doing a really dynamic movement where you’re accelerating the bar back into the hips to mimic the pull in a snatch/clean is something you can do more frequently as a really good assistance movement for the deadlift. Plus they’re a fun variation that do not require much learning to be able to do.
Salut ,visioner la video que je n'avait pas vu ,je la trouve tres interessante , il n'y a personne qui fait des videos sur les programmes en aurait tu d'autre comme ca!! Merci
Not sure if it's worth a video as I don't think many do this, but...things to consider when programming if your comp lifts are high bar and sumo. Also in terms of accessory movements. Thanks!
This series is the shit. Very excited to try this. Do you expect the weight for 1x3 @ rpe 6 to be more or less than the weight for 3x4 @ 72%? I’m new to rpe so I’m not sure if the percentage work is supposed to be heavier or lighter.
I have an Inzer 13mm Lever belt , For some reason I can't get it to work with my Conventional deadlift. Positioning feels off, seems like its winding me. Taking away my breath. If I slacken the tightness, feels like nothing is changing. Any tips or recommendations would be appreciated. Been deadlifting beltless and running programs beltless for 3 years now and I made it up to 550lbs raw conventional thus far. Would really like to get a belt working as I believe it could expedite my progress with the lift a bit. If I can't resolve this, its no big deal, been beltless deadlifting for so long it just seems natural to me at this point
For All the triples and doubles in the first two blocks, would it be more of a touch and go or 3 reps with a slight pause in between reps to adjust positioning?
Brendan Tietz i just finished running the conventional program and maxed out all my lifts so I’m hesitant to max out again but on sumo instead of conventional as I wanna hop on a program again. Would it be a bad idea to estimate a sumo max?
Brendan Tietz I’ve been pulling conventional since I started lifting basically with the occasional sumo pull here and there. But as I’ve learned more about my body I feel like I’d be a better sumo puller if I trained it. Strong off the ground and weak lockout on conventional, short arms. So I was thinking of trying to run the sumo program and see where it takes me. I really enjoyed running your program tho the first time. I made really good gains so thanks 🙏
You're getting it wrong Brendan. People just want so see how big your arms are! Jk. Awesome video man, can't wait to give this program a try. As a Sheiko enthusiast I like submaximal training a lot.
Forgot to hit publish last night for those who follow me on instagram LOL sorry guys
haha i was wondering
Hey Brendan, where do you learn these programming things from. i always want to get better at my own coaching
lol i just realized why i'm so tired all the time. I'm going rpe 9 like every session. i learned a lot from this!

i'm very late but i'm assuming no cus 1x3 @ 6 means it's ur 7rm and for MOST ppl that's around 85%ish
@@thethingofthealien2537 I have since learned this but I appreciate your response
@@ekramali5825brother did the program produce results?
Yay... accessorys and excel next right ?
Octa Octy and sumo deadlift! I already have two of them filmed!!
Ok thank you.
How many warm up sets do you suggest working towards that starting top set of that program day?
Wanted to ask how many minutes between sets do you rest on this program???
your clairvoyant

owari jules try a thinner belt. Give a 10mm belt a shot
Try wearing your belt a little higher on your torso
Did you try a thinner belt?
You are my hero.. Thanks bro!!
If someone does sumo deadlift would it be better to do the snatch deadlift convetional or sumo?
Good stuff as always man. 🤙🏻
I thought the program was dropping June 1st? I’m eager to start ha ha !

Yo what do you think about doing block pulls at 2-4inch instead of Sumo/RDL in order to reduce fatigue on lower back? or is it a bad idea?
Block pulls= more lower back cause legs are less involved
What if I don’t have an accurate max for sumo deadlifts?
Hashmaster98 test it first! Then do the program

So an RPE 6 or 7 is prob equivalent to the 72%?? I have to wrap my head around this RPE stuff. Why the distinction?
It's auto-regulation. If you feel like shit, you won't put too much on the bar.
Probably equivalent to 85-90%
