Thanks for another great video on the 450SS. I just got my cycle endorsement and am looking for a first bike. I originally wanted a Grom, but saw a Papio in a dealership, which led me to look into the CF Moto brand. Fell in love with the 450 and tomorrow I'm hopefully going back to check one out, see if I fit on it, etc. Hopefully spring of '24, I'll be riding my own. Thanks again!
OC - Yes. Gimmi more of this. Give us a whole series of videos of you crossing the country. Maybe stop and do some little events here and there if you can afford it. Go race a track or something.
As for reliability, there's a reason why the oil filter you showed says it fits a line of KTM motorcycles. It's a story as old as time, a big company starts having components or entire products made in Japan, China or India and then about 10 years later that country springs up as a manufacturer that challenges or even replaces the original company that basically taught them how to build a quality product in the first place.
Yep and CF Moto has been making small displacement KTM bikes AND their big displacement engines since 2013, so if you can trust KTM you can trust CF moto.
I'm a beginner rider and I love the cruisers. However I'm seriously thinking of buying one CF Moto. Great price and 5 years warranty here in Belgium, besides the quality.
My local dealership that’s about 10 miles from me sells the CFMoto 450 SS. They had about seven on the floor. Such a beautiful bike. They were incredibly nice as well and said they were selling the 450 SS like crazy
Your advice on the dealer network is spot on. It is one reason why I haven't gone to look at an Indian Scout or a Triumph since the closest Indian dealer is almost two hours away. The closest Triumph dealership is just over an hour away. Whereas are there are several Japanese dealerships in my metro area plus two Harley dealers. One of the Japanese dealerships also sells CFMoto and BMW motorcycles. Repair and parts availability is very important.
Oddly enough, there are 6 CFMoto dealers within an hour of my house. There are only 2 Yamaha within that range. I normally do all my own maintenance including valve adjustments, so a dealer really isn't a biggie for me. Usually you can find parts online for less.
YES more 450ss specific vids please. I am enjoying my 300nk as my daily to keep miles off my Ram, and looking at a 700CLX or an Aprilia RS660. So many good bikes right now, I just can't pick one. Oh, and the 450sr-s and the 800nk...I hate this.
@@edogaddo6486 How do you like your NK? Have you found a way to use the CFMOTO app for the GPS feature? Mine constantly is disconnecting from my phone, but also gives me false directions and sometimes does not move to the next turn in the directions sequence.
@@switcherlp780 I have the 450 and I’ve only used the CF Moto app for GPS a few times. It mostly worked perfectly fine but there was times where my phone would keep disconnecting but it always connected back. I’m sure this is a bug in the system that they’ll fix sooner or later. Especially with how popular the bike is becoming. I know the app won’t have these problems forever
Because of these sales talks? Man, first drive both and think about Kawasaki having 50 years of experience. CFmoto is just starting and that shows when you are driving one.
450ss advantages looks it has winglet that doesn't make sense, more cc more power by 1hp. Disadvantage so damn heavy for a beginner sports bike Well if you go just because of the appearance go for it! anyway it's still a good bike
For every CFMOTO sold the Big 4 get nervous, so I'm expecting 2025 to be a SPECTACULAR year for customers. There are 4 dealerships in California, all in the Los Angeles area, so at least 8 hour drive from me, whereas my two Big 4 dealerships are literally 5 minute drive from me. 2025 is going to be an INSANELY amazing year for buyers.

So many people shout out "nice bike" or "that bike is sick"! Please everyone wake up and realize theres no sport bike close to this one at this price point!
I love everything about this bike other than the size. I am 6' 220lbs and I currently own a 700 CL-X and love it. I would like to see them make a 700ss as the 450 is just a bit small and underpowered for me. But no doubt I love my CL-X. I also ride a Harley EG.

Very good vdo, once again. I've been a rider for 34 years and have a very strong liking for Japanese bikes. I've gotten older and you know, as we get older, we stick to our positions, our comfort, our safety, our conservative spirit... Japanese bikes have proved their worth for decades and, as you say, it's not by doing a few thousand kilometers on these new Chinese bikes that we'll have any idea of their long-term reliability in terms of years but... times have changed and so has technology. I don't claim to be a mechanic, but I have four Japanese motorcycles that I take great care of and maintain with passion. My roots in these brands are deep-rooted, so I don't yet know if I could invest in this CFMoto company, although I feel it deserves my trust... Their low prices and five-year warranty have me seriously thinking about it. Time, reflection and videos promoting them will guide me towards them or not, I'll see. In any case, watching your vdo's about this brand, guides me and informs me very well. Keep up the good work! Thanks a lot.
Believe in the power of trends. Japanese industry is gradually declining, while China's industrial capacity is strengthening rapidly. Just like the Japanese brands Panasonic, Sharp and Toshiba. The fate of Japan's motorcycle industry is foreseeable.
@believeingood5875 The Japanese reign supreme in quality control and have been doing it for over 50 years. The Chinese also have a huge problem with counterfeiting and quality control. Good luck on your China bike.
@@believeingood5875 o you mean like Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mazda, Lexus, Acura, Infiniti, Subaru. The top selling and most dependable brands. Let me list the great Chinese auto manufacturers, ooo ummm yeah that's right there none LOL. I'm going to tell the CCP you suck at your job.
How did you like the bike so far? I cant decide between this one and a honda cbr500r. Looking to buy in one or two weeks from today and its going to be my first bike!
I really hope you keep making videos about this bike! I started watching you years ago around the time of the ultimate garage build and the dual vlogs and since then i wanted a motorcycle. Finally decided it was time to get a 450 and I’ve loved it ever since i got it!
Ok,Chase no need to have to worry about OEM parts. There's another YouTuner who has it figuured out. I'll put his page here for you if you need additional help for the CF-Moto.
That’s a logical progression. I had a cbr300r and loved it. It checked the boxes I needed and when I moved up I actually went to the cbr650r and I love it as well. Everything I’m hearing about the Cfmoto’s right now is good. A lot of bang for the buck. Hope y’all have fun!
@someoneelse1i1i right on! I think she'll finish up on the CBR650R. She's got her MSF BRC down, and going to BRC2 in October- the 300 was really good for her and she's enjoying the extra torque and top end speed from the 450SS. I've noticed her aversion to highway riding is going away now on the CF450SS. I'm going to give it 2 to 3 years and she'll probably make the step up to the i4 650R. I was a diehard Kawi guy, but these Hondas have been growing on me! Keep the rubber side down🤙
Was waiting for this video from you dude! Would love to see more on this bike. In Europe they come with a 5 year warranty wich is more than any other manufacturer.
If you’re in the Saint Louis, MO area, go to Chesterfield, Saint Louis Powersports. Daryll will take good care of you. Great experience. IXIL has officially released their slip on Exhaust for the CFmoto 450SS. Aftermarket parts are already becoming more prominently available. It’s gonna start rolling out fast now.
I'd recommend all riders to learn your bike and how to basic service it yourself. As a certified auto mechanic I can say I do my own service now even on my bikes. It pays, literally and figuratively. Granted I can't do balancing because I don't have a machine, but that's about all I can't do myself. This bike is 100% worth of you can service it yourself, and it's 80% worth if you can't and you're not close to a Shop.
I replaced those bearings on my Gixxer 600 once, but that was five years later and they didn't even need replacing, I just wanted fresh parts here and there. But CFmoto's warranties are a little odd
OC: I think that over time CFMoto will prove their a reliable brand. After all I do believe KTM has CFMoto building and assembling a few of their bikes. Pretty sure the reliability questions come from the history of Chinese motorcycles and scooters being spotty at best. With a decent size group of people being burned by bikes made with substandard parts and materials and having overall poor fitment and finish to the bike. But off the bat the 450SS looks to be the best looking lower CC beginner bike on the market and with time we'll definitely see floods of aftermarket support probably close to the kinda support the MT07 receives as dealers can't keep that bike in stock. By that time I'm sure all reliability concerns about the 450SS will be put to rest.
Both BMW and CFMOTO dealerships are about a 10 minute drive away from our home :) I have a home in the Fredericksburg, Va area and Extreme Powersports, located on Lafayette Blvd has both the KTM brand and CFMOTO brand. Then I have Morton's BMW in close proximity to Extreme Powersport, located on Route 1(Patriot Highway). So, I have the best of both worlds :) ...Personally, I would not do Suzuki, Aprilia, or Ducati simply because the dealerships are simply too far to have something fixed or for maintenance..
OC! I really hope to get this as my first street bike. Just gotta convince the wife to let me xD. Ride safe and enjoy everyone! And thank you Chase for all these detailed videos you do.
I read the CFMoto 450NK manual and it says air filter replacement should only be done by an authorized dealer with no instructions on how the owner can do it.
I didn't buy a CFMoto expressly because the local "dealer" only would work on CFMoto ATV's. It is certainly something to look for when making travel plans that not all dealers of a brand will even look at your motorcycle, warranty or no.
Thinking about getting one of these just to get back on two wheels, I’m sure 50 hp is just enough to have some fun with. Could always go down a tooth in the front depending on the gearing
I am shook! I wanted an MT 07 for about three months now. I have close to 18 months experience on smaller displacement bikes but I was so close to making my decision on the upgrade. Seeing the cf moto 450 NK REALLY MESSED ME UP HAHAHAHA. Now I’m indecisive. I hope Yamaha makes an MT05 hahaha I think it would be the perfect bike 🤞🏽
Ktm owns 49% of cf moto. The Ibex 800 is the ktm 790 engine made by cf moto. I'm thinking the 450ss has ktm DNA too weather that's a good or bad thing. I've had good luck with my ktm dirt bikes.
CF Moto is actually quite experienced in making motorcycles. They are the main manufacturer of KTM motorcycles for the China market. The Ibex 800 is literally using the engine of the KTM Duke 790
After your last video, first thing, I checked to see where a dealer would be. It is almost 6 hours away for me. There is one closer but I'd have to cross the boarder into America from Canada. Cool as it is... other brands are around me almost like gas stations. They're everywhere. if there were more dealers, it would make this bike go much higher on my list.
OC! I want the Nebula White 450SS as my first beginner bike, but the supply says nope! My closest dealership (20ish miles away) sold both 450s in two hours of putting them on the showroom floor and they're not expecting more for months! There are 4 other dealerships within 100 miles and they're all sold out. I've only seen one 450SS in the wild and it looks great. Thanks @chaseontwowheels for putting out videos for me to drool at!
They're gonna make a big sport bike soon. 2025ish. They have deals with component mfgs that are beyond legit. At $10k, a balls-out cf moto with WP suspension and Brembos on board is an outside maybe. North of $10k, an all-around pass I'm afraid. The value and the style are the only reason to consider this over something (anything) else. The 450SS has that in spades. If the value on their big bike isn't there, well, why not just have a sport bike from someone you've heard of? The value is their best card to play.
My only question about the 450 SS is can you get lowered rear sets and maybe more forward like the CBR500R ? I don’t think my old knees can take the stock position.
I think that if you have the capability to do so, people will want to see and hear different exhaust options for this be it a simple slip-on to full header back systems. Other things people might want to see is what performance increases are afforded by these different systems and whether they required a remap of the ECU. What tail tidy kits are available and how do they look? I know you kinda put in a plug for R&G, but TST Industries offers one as well along with different rear signal options that you can package in. What I think would be truly awesome is if CF Moto offered the undercarriage cowl as a standalone part that could be integrated into the NK model with a scoop behind the front wheel. I would love to see more options for Street Fighter builds for the NK as well. The beauty of these two bikes is that they are already very good looking machines and utilize the exact same chassis so retro-fitting different components between the two should be easy breezy. The question of reliability IMO is moot because the engines themselves have already been proven in the KTM machines. I am curious to see how long it will be before there is a KTM model rocking the 450 mill? It has all kinds of advantages over the 390 and shows immense potential in the market. I think it helps that CF Moto has a former Ducati engineer as a chief design consultant for their Street division of bikes that while most of them share powerplants with their KTM partners they have a distinct look and fit & finish that sets them apart from being a rebadged KTM offering. Gotta love options.
I do like the looks of this bike. The fairing pucks are a nice touch too. I seem to remember the old Honda ST1100 had a similar arrangement on the fairing lowers. I wonder with the CFMoto, will the pucks touch down before the wings?
This sounds kinda rude but I think these bikes are some of the best and coolest things that came out of china and I hope to see more support for cf in the us
Getting the 2024 model soon, nebula white. Great info in the video to consider before buying. Tst industries also has some great mods for the 450ss. Really looking forward to watching more of your content and learning! Thanks for what you do, from one idiot to another,😂!!
Love the 450NK.. Black Friday advertised $3999, Went over ready to buy.. In Stock. Low seat, light weight, looks awesome. Does 110 MPH flat out! The 450SS was $1K more. But WAIT.. with shipping, Dealer Prep.. W/Taxes, Tags, and Title.. Out the Door.. the 450NK was $5900? Wow.. wasn't ready for that!.. Buried was $750 shipping (From China?). What kind of OTD prices are typical for CFMoto? If it breaks. will the dealer actually fix it in a reasonable time? Dealer repairs are generally an issue. Dealer is the problem. Decided to keep my Chinese KPX250. $2900 shipped, (which I dropped 4" and converted to 17" super moto tires. It's just too fun doing 35MPH twisties around here at 60 on a disposable, indestructible bike, that I can buy a whole new engine/trans on Ebay for $700. It's Flawless.
2 mins in "huh, kinda looks like GA", 3 mins in "huh, kinda looks like the same motor store I passed through and saw the cfmoto 450 at" 4 mins in "oh yeah that's GA"
Most of the people who can service a cfmoto bike, I have nearly 3 within an hour or less from my house.. Personally If I was going to get a cfmoto it would either be the 650 and 700 naked bikes or the ibex 800 adventure bikes. Those adventure bikes make more sense to me overall, since a lot of the roads here in WV are half gravel and off road trails everywhere, not to mention the curvy mountain roads all over the place here. But if I didn't want to go off road, those naked 650 and 700's are a nice medium ground not as peppy as a liter bike, but not as slow and cumbersome on the inclines for the mountain roads, and have a nice sitting position for longer rides. I've been looking into them for months, they're pretty good price compared to the Suzuki or Honda type bikes. I feel if you're going to get an Adventure bike though, rather than being a trailer queen and afraid to get a scratch on it, you want to ride it like you stole it off road, ding it, bang it up, and ride those trails like they where meant to be rode, then go on road and ride home, thats my thought. So the price is a nice medium for me. Not too expensive where I'm worried how much the parts are going to be to repair it, but not cheap where they will break cause they're flimsy cheap parts. So That's most likely what I'm going to get this coming spring when I get my taxes.

Good luck with it!
Don’t get anything below 300cc trust me
@@cristiansosa6173you can but if interested in hwy riding then nothing under 300 minimun
I love my CFMOTO 450SS I NEVER rode before and been riding to work everyday lol. Been getting compliments every time I’m riding
Yep and CF Moto has been making small displacement KTM bikes AND their big displacement engines since 2013, so if you can trust KTM you can trust CF moto.
im rlly glad to see this bike doing well. dont ride yet, but when i can afford it, imma get this bike.
I'm not a sportsbike fan but I can't wrap my head around it how amazing this bike looks... 🤩🤩
Glad we have Southeastern Motorcycle in Savannah who is a CFMOTO dealer.
My driving school actually had one .Smooth ride .Felt in love with it
Your advice on the dealer network is spot on.
Thanks!
Oddly enough, there are 6 CFMoto dealers within an hour of my house. There are only 2 Yamaha within that range. I normally do all my own maintenance including valve adjustments, so a dealer really isn't a biggie for me. Usually you can find parts online for less.
I saw this bike last week for the first time and I was amazed at the looks of it. I have never heard of it before.
There's a good amount of aftermarket parts for the CFMoto 450SR/SS in Asia. Most people buy aftermarket parts online anyway.
I can’t wait for that 450sr-s it looks so good. Im curious how different the price will be
Me too I really want the 450 srs but I'm intrested in the 800 nk too
I have rn a 300 nk too
@@edogaddo6486 How do you like your NK? Have you found a way to use the CFMOTO app for the GPS feature? Mine constantly is disconnecting from my phone, but also gives me false directions and sometimes does not move to the next turn in the directions sequence.
@@switcherlp780 I have the 450 and I’ve only used the CF Moto app for GPS a few times. It mostly worked perfectly fine but there was times where my phone would keep disconnecting but it always connected back. I’m sure this is a bug in the system that they’ll fix sooner or later. Especially with how popular the bike is becoming. I know the app won’t have these problems forever
I plan on getting this bike over the Ninja 400 as my first bike.
Do you bough one? I’m thinking the same about that decision
Because of these sales talks? Man, first drive both and think about Kawasaki having 50 years of experience. CFmoto is just starting and that shows when you are driving one.
Why because it's cooler?
Ninja: 399 cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC 8-valve parallel twin.
48.9 horsepower.
27 lb-ft.
Weight wet: 370lbs (167.8kgs)
Seat Height: 30.9 inches (785 mm)
Kawasaki proven and tested
450ss: 449 cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC 8-valve parallel twin.
50 horsepower.
28.8 lb-ft.
Weight wet: 391 lbs (177 kgs)
Cfmoto new to the game
450ss advantages looks it has winglet that doesn't make sense, more cc more power by 1hp. Disadvantage so damn heavy for a beginner sports bike
Well if you go just because of the appearance go for it! anyway it's still a good bike
They sell em in San Diego and I'm about to go check them out today
Bought this bike one month ago! This is my first bike so I cant compare it to any other besides just sitting on the competetors at dealerships, But, I have loved all 500 miles I have put on this bike!
They're making a V4 Superbike as we speak
OC!!! I watch all your stuff man. I found you even I thought about maybe wanting to ride for real. I got my 450 last Saturday. Love every minute on it. It’s freeing cold no find any reason to get on it
Very good vdo, once again.
@@GTP786 Just like the once invincible Nokia and Motorola. Believe in the power of trends.
I crashed my 450SS a month ago but when I did the only things that were damaged are the fairings and the built-in frame slider
I am about to buy this bike next week, can't wait to ride it!
Great value motorcycle IMO. I've got a dealer 4 miles from me, and my wife stepped up from a 2019 CBR300R to this CFM450SS- it's been great so far.
Glad I saw this video. Closest cfmoto dealership to me is in Nashville, over 2 hours away. Not dealing with that lol
Great content! It really strengthened my thought about join the CF Moto family once I get my endorsement❤
19:16 A 90 day warranty on the wheel and steering bearings is pretty bad. I would expect those to last at least a year if not two easy
I replaced those bearings on my Gixxer 600 once, but that was five years later and they didn't even need replacing, I just wanted fresh parts here and there. But CFmoto's warranties are a little odd
If someone is ok with buying a KTM, then they should be ok with buying this bike. CF Moto and KTM have partnered together to make these new bikes.
Few hundred miles.... Bish I got 2300 on mine in the first month of owning and love it.
Love the video. I saw it at the dealership in my town. The 450 ss looks awesome. I have the clx sport. Looks like it is time to add the 450 ss.
I have a dealer 20 minutes from my house thankfully. I’d love to get one eventually!
I’d love to see more about the display and the app! Strongly considering picking one of these up within the next couple weeks! OC!
App is great tells where your bike is at all times.
I loved your video man, I'm definitely buying this bike. Great advice, great youtuber, great bike :]
Me chilling with a dealership 5 minutes away from my house
OC, it's January 2024. Looking for 800nk videos when you come back. Hope you are enjoying your time
Bro, please review a husqvarna 701 supermoto! I don’t think anyone does a review as thorough as you
OC! 2 wheels down. Ride safe, bro! 🏍🏍
Thinking about getting one of these just to get back on two wheels, I’m sure 50 hp is just enough to have some fun with. Could always go down a tooth in the front depending on the gearing
All that is on Ali Express, Amazon, and Dealers within 2-3 months post offering. Amazon offers All OEM fairings, tanks, seats, winshields.
I had CFMoto’s 250 automatic bike and loved it
White color option gives some futuristic tron or drone vibes while black gives night falcon vibes. Hard to choose which one 😩.
Ktm owns 49% of cf moto. The Ibex 800 is the ktm 790 engine made by cf moto. I'm thinking the 450ss has ktm DNA too weather that's a good or bad thing. I've had good luck with my ktm dirt bikes.
The NK450 is for sale here in the Philippines. Will it come out in the U.S.? If it is can't wait for you to review it.
Ooo, plz do a 450ss vs r7, since you've done so much beginner content on an r7 😋
I'm actually looking at getting one of these as my second street bike
It’s an awesome bike. I got it as my 21st bike lol and it’s by far the most fun. Dare I say better than my H2!
Dang now that's a review! What makes you enjoy it so much as compared to all the other bikes you've got?
Why is it one of the most fun bikes?
And what about caring another passenger?

CFMoto are normally sold at the KTM dealership as is GasGas and Husqvarna generally in Europe and Australia and New Zealand
CF Moto is actually quite experienced in making motorcycles. They are the main manufacturer of KTM motorcycles for the China market. The Ibex 800 is literally using the engine of the KTM Duke 790
i have a good reason why i want this bike cause of "cfmoto 450 sr vanhool exhaust" it sounds so good
After your last video, first thing, I checked to see where a dealer would be.
OC. I'm not gonna lie. I'm listening to this at work and I was like is he riding a R1 or MT10 while talking about the CF moto? The bike sounds great!
GOGO more videos on the 450ss im getting one soon!! I'm looking forward to customize
New subscriber and I love what you’re putting out! Thanks for the work my friend! 🏍️
I agree!
OC: test rode this bike the other day and fell in love. Could you do a track day video?? 👀
OC. I can't wait to see the mods you put on this bike. Are you thinking of doing a tune if possible?
My only question about the 450 SS is can you get lowered rear sets and maybe more forward like the CBR500R ? I don’t think my old knees can take the stock position.
I would like to see you go sport touring on the 450 SS, and I would like to see you go on a long weekend camping trip on the 450 SS.
That must be an old dealer map. It didn't show any dealers in DFW.
This sounds kinda rude but I think these bikes are some of the best and coolest things that came out of china and I hope to see more support for cf in the us
Thank you for making another video on this bike.
OC love the vid man can’t wait to get mine 👏🏾
2 mins in "huh, kinda looks like GA", 3 mins in "huh, kinda looks like the same motor store I passed through and saw the cfmoto 450 at" 4 mins in "oh yeah that's GA"
*unsheathes sword*
"Success! We lived another day! Haha!"
How I feel everyday riding lol
There's a dealership in Canton Ga. Ride now motorsports. It use to be Freedom Powersports. But they got bought out.
Looks cool but I am happy with my 22 CBR 500R great bike
I hope cf moto is successful because it will help keep the Japanese motorcycles prices in check
