Lets start a pricing thread: how much was your OTD? in what location? My OTD price was $7500 in central florida so i picked up a new sv650 for $1300 less
@@verympressiv that’s not too bad. I got mine for $6,061 OTD here in Saint Louis. If you’re near the Saint Louis, MO area head over to Saint Louis Powersports in Chesterfield. Ask for Daryll, he’ll take good care of you. Dealer fees were 560 total. Hell of a deal. I won’t work with any other dealership after the experience I had with them.
Hi. I have been riding for nearly 2 decades and use this to daily comute. I just bought the CF Moto 450 because of its drop dead gorgeous looks and its ultra smooth engine and gearbox. As a 50 year old, I thought that the more aggressive riding stance (especially coming from a upright naked Duke) might be too much for me, but I have not had any issues with any back or wrist pains (even on long days out in the country). I use to own a triumph thruxton nearly 10 years ago, and I had really bad back and wrist pains after 1 hour of riding it. The fact that I don't get pains on this bike is a big plus. I will start with the bad points I've experienced so far. This one is not a huge problem, but one to note. The sat navigation has taken me to places that I've not entered once or twice when I've gone out to the country side. It also couldn't find a popular town that a lot of people go to. So while I like that it has in built turn by turn nav, I wished they had installed Google maps instead of their own system, but since I don't use the navigation (except to try it out that day), it's not a problem for me. Second, and more of an issue for me... I think the fuel economy is high for a 450. I know it's still in the breaking in period, but at 4.6L per 100k's (what I'm getting so far), it's pretty bad, especially since I'm quite careful with it during run in. That's nearly what a Hornet 750 or a Duke 790 gets. Lastly, and this is a minor gripe, but I wish that the kick stand was around a cm longer. It feels like the bike wants to go over when you stop on anything but a flat surface. Another really bad thing about this bike is the preconceived ideas people have about the brand. While I would not recommend cfmoto's earlier bikes, their collaboration with KTM and its in-house designers have paid off and has been proven in all the great reviews this bike has been getting. Even so people will come up to you and ask what make and brand the bike is. Then you have to explain.. it's CF Moto. , oh... they'll say. Then you have to let them know t's a Chinese company. They really need to change the name of CF Moto to something else, something that rolls off the tongue easier. It's hard to justify and explain who they are and what the CF in CF moto means. I think that we are all use to other big brands being made from China, but saying that name Cf Moto, doesn't bring pride to the ownerships even if this is a top of the class bike. I mean, look at the other up coming Chinese brand Kove (pronounced Kove'), it sounds fancy and more a kin to a top quality/premium bike. Cf Moto should follow suit so that they can increase their brand loyalties. Even though I like this bike, I would not wear any of their merch. Am I worried about the fit finish and reliability? Not at all. CF Moto has been around for a long time in Australia. This bike is solid and put together very well. It has a 3 year factory warranty which is longer than nearly all the established makes. Also considering CF Moto makes the engines for the Ninja 400, it would not suprise me if this is the same engine bored out to 450cc with a 270° crank shaft instead of 180 and they've called it their own. May be this the exact engine that KTM and cfmoto were working on before KTM pulled out of building the Duke 490 range. Thats it for the bad stuff. What I love. The looks. The front a rear winglets are a first to market in class and give it an aggressive and unique look to a otherwise mundane cbr-r sport bike template. I also like that it has a nice big, bright tft with optional 2 display layouts and lots of features, some of which include rev shift alert, over speed alert so you don't speed too much over and loose your licence, the forementioned sat navigation, from phone to Bluetooth call with music controls from the switches, a bike tracker with geo fencing alert. You can also track your bike if your friend borrows it, or it gets stolen and moved anywhere in the world. This has a greater advantage for owners because when I told the insurance company that It has it, they lowered my insurance premiums, all of which is not on the Ninja 400... yeay!!! It does have a bigger bike feel and you do feel it when you throw your legs over it to start, but the bike does shrink around you when you move at normal paces, but when you push it, I do feel that the bike feels like it's bigger than what it actually is again, which is really wiered but not in a bad way. Not a sensation I've felt before. I love how sure footed this bike is at any speed. It always feels really planted, stable and grippy. Pulls from 3800 rpm comfortably. The slightly more tucked in hunkered down position is comfortable as long as your not over 5 10-11". A really big thumbs up. It's really manuvrable and easily threads through tight and heavy peak hour bumper to bumper traffic (even with those big long mirrors out which was a big suprise). And have I mentioned how smooth it is. The engine is silky smooth, It also sounds good from factory. I like the pops and burble sounds it makes when down shifting. Almost like a softer quieter C63 merc. Like the C63, I wish the muffler also had the quiet and loud pass through valve to really give it a bit more rumble on the road and a quiet mode so the neighbours don't get angry option at 5am start up. For people who say it's only a beginners bike, I would urge you to think twice. You can only go as fast as the speed limit these days, so anything over a 500 to 600cc is posturing. This bike has more than enough power to get you out of trouble, it does also allow you to have fun while being much safer. It has a much lower rego and insurance cost compared to a big bike and much, much, much cheaper to buy. While I think beginners will love it, it is a great real world conditions bike for everyone under 5.10". The price. For what you get, it's a hell of a deal.
Season rider here with 40+ years of dirt and road. Rode this little beast at Daytona Bike week CFMoto demo event, right after the ninja 400. An amazing package that set the bar very high for the competition to strive for. Where can you get 50hp, 270 crank, brembo brakes, great suspension, good adjustable controls, tft color dash and looks amazing. One ride and you’ll wonder why the competition didn’t revamp their bikes sooner. Was a blast to ride, more fun than the Gsxs 1000 S right after the little SS450.
You've got to love small/mid capacity road bikes. I ride a litre bike ATM, but I'm looking to get a late 80's four pot screamer like a cbr250rr or similar as a commuter. It's fun using all the rev range. On my SV1000 I barely get out of first gear and I've already hit 70kph.
Hey thanks for your review, because am about to start motorcycle course and I was debating whether to buy a ninja 400 or this cfmoto 450 and with your many years of riding you just convince me to get the cfmoto plus is cheaper and has better technology but I will ride them both to make my final decision.
I just picked up my 450 sr yesterday, absolutely unreal. Feel so surprisingly planted. Looks amazing, surprisingly good pull on it, it’s just… amazing. See how it handles the first 1000 km on Aussie roads
@@101BadBreathyou are correct. A 180 will rev out better, whereas a 270 will have that punchier mid range and linear power curve. 360 degree twins have very punchy low end and a pretty flat power curve. Funny how the different engine configurations perform!
@@sleeper.simulant7327 I always wanna know what is difference between the different engine configuration and now I do thanks to your comment.. you mention 270 have linear power curve while 360 have flat power curve, what is the difference between the two?
@@AmAm-t1g take a chart for example. Linear growth is a steady line that’s continuously rising at an angle, let’s just say a 45° angle as an example. The 360° crank twins do not like to rev high since the cylinders rotate at the same angle, that’s a lot of weight internally moving in a singular direction, would make for a lot of vibration. Also the simple construction of the bearings on a 360° engine weigh a little bit more, which hurts power as there is more rotational mass. 360° cranks were originally designed because they were inexpensive to manufacture and offered more performance then single cylinders at the time. The cams are also phased differently with that firing order to where they make better torque but have a power curve they plateaus early. On the other hand, 180° and 270° cranks are more willing to rev. 180° flat plane cranks like to rev higher as the cylinders are firing equally, helping move the next cylinder into place faster and faster as you rev them higher and higher. 270° cranks strike a nice balance. 270° engines are also very smooth running, especially compared to a 360° and they make loads of mid range power like a 90° v twin as they share the same firing order. Very balanced engine with a lot of character…
@@sleeper.simulant7327 you explained linear but forgot explaining flat power band. maybe you did but didnt do so adequately. you just repeated that they dont rev as high. got it. so they plateau early? i guess its a feel thing. hard to explain maybe. i understand what the words mean, but its just not truly in context. all good.
@@chaseontwowheelsI’ve done it for you. 4,000 miles in 4 months through mountain passes, heavy traffic, twisties, and some of that Canadian wildfire air. Have never leaked fluid, ran hot (maybe warm in traffic?¿). Changed the air filter recently and that wasn’t even dirty. CF Moto makes KTM engines and a Yamaha naked frame so there really are no corners cut here. Everyone go buy it and have fun
FYI! If you buy one of these you might want to get an oil filter ordered or purchased when you pick up the bike. I saw this mentioned in another 450SS video stating it took about 3 weeks for the author to get filters for his bike so this might save you some down time on your first service.
Or just figure out what is the same size oil filter available from another bike. It doesn't have to be dead point getting parts solely from original dealer
@@Carlisho Exactly, those oil filter are just generic but stamped with brand on it just to make it one of. Just look for the same size one and there you go.
If you're talking about the 80's sure. Now Japanese bikes are made in China, India and SEA. CFmoto made engines for Kawasaki back then before the KTM partnership.
@@Speckled_trout91that was in 80s-90s. It's 2023 and Chinese brands are now reliable and leading in some categories. You can think otherwise, but that's how it is now.
I've had mine for a month and a half and my coworker knock it over on to another bike yesterday but it received zero damage so far these things are sturdy and reliable
OC: Definitely is an amazing looking bike and if it's bulletproof reliable then I'm absolutely picking one up. Even after 14 years of riding it's still fun to ride a small bike fast. I legit would only change 4 things, that being aftermarket exhaust, fender eliminator, dark or tinted windscreen and remove stock mirrors for clip on mirrors or delete them all together. I'm going to wait a bit to see how reliable it is, but if that 270° engine is as reliable as any Japanese bike then CFMoto is getting some money from me. It is pretty clear it's a strong shot at beginner bikes from Japan and even if they barely make money per unit sold, it's definitely a move to get riders to purchase their 450SS as a starter bike and hook em to stay with CFMoto as they progress to a larger CC bike of theirs. It's a great strategy if they deliver on quality good looking bikes.
I planned on getting an R3 but this thing is nice. It’s a Chinese bike so I’m also waiting to do how the reliability is. Edit: Changed my mind guys I’m gonna get a Honda CBR650R. lol
I finally decided to buy one after seeing the reviews and holy shit, they were all right about it being amazing. It's crazy when I never even considered buying a Chinese bike, but here I am. This easily beat out my previous Hondas (ADV-150, CB300R) in terms of build quality and features, even the freaking bare plastic panels feels ridiculously thick and sturdy!! I think I just became a pretty big CFMOTO fan, for real.
This is my first ever motorcycle and I am having a blast. This thing can lean real good ive already been training with a semi pro rider and ive already scraped footpeg and so close to very edge of tire wear. Very good bike overall in every category.
I've already started calculating my monthly payment and see how to get one. I haven't touched a bike's handlebars ever before in my life, i'm in love. Don't even have the license, will need to get that too.
One of the top-selling motorcycles here in our country sounds almost like a Ducati Panigale. This motorcycle is budget-friendly for the price, and you get a lot for what you pay for. Hello, chaseonwheels, I'm a solid subscriber here. I loved your videos and the background sound, "Dammmmn love it." 😎 🇵🇭 🤘
Here’s the thing, cfmoto have been producing motorcycle parts for other companies for ages. They are a massive company and get to save a LOT of money on manufacturing, so they don’t need to cheap out in the bikes themselves. They also sell worldwide, as far as I know the us is one of the last markets they reached, but they are everywhere. So they make money by selling a large volume of bikes, even if their bikes are not expensive.
i was so close to buying a ninja 400 as my starter, im like 2k away from buying my first bike and this CFMOTO 450SS made me change my mind, im glad i didnt spend 7-8k on the ninja 400 and this thing came out.
OC: Bike looks awesome! It would be cool to see some track content with the 450ss. Suzuki is due to update their 250 so another 450cc bike with 270* crank from them would be dope!
This guy officially makes the best multi angle videos. Amazing. I had to subscribe. Actually I am driving to New York to see this bike. Might be an addition to my collection. Thanks to you and other reviewers of this awesome motor.
I’m over here watching ninja 400 videos to convince myself to get one, and your video popped up and now I’m having to go down the worm hole of this bike.
Your reviews are so so diff from others in a good way, your content helps me understand how the machine actually is and man those cinamtic shots are cherry on top. Love it
I’ve bought the 2024 450SR-S and absolutely love it! Been riding it for the last 3 weeks and as a beginner it’s plenty of bike for me for now. Great bike to learn on! Sounds great and looks fantastic! Couldn’t be happier 👍🏼
Finally you ride it 👍👍👍👍👍,please try it on the race track Chase and they just released the new version of 450SRS here in China with single sided swing arm, under belly exhaust and with traction control system and there’s a rumor that the 1000SR is coming 👍,and by the way..the winglets is useful especially when you’re driving very fast..they tested it into the wind tunnel
You didn't notice the seat already had wrinkle bubbles forming in it 25:06 . I have a 2012 Ninja 650 and there is not a single wrinkle in the seat. I have a 2017 z650 and not a single wrinkle in the seat.
I have to have one now. I mean I've been looking for a good starter bike that wasn't to high in the CC and i think I've got a winner. Thanks Chase💯💯💯 OC
OC: This bike is amazing. I hope they release the 450SRS here for those of us who like single sided swing arms and adjustable front and rear suspensions. If that comes out I’ll get it. I also like the looks of the CL-X Sport. Man new riders are so lucky with the choices they get! I am here for it and also, I love small CC bikes.
In earlier times, my father commuted on a torsion-valve-spring Honda CB450, and it did everything well. In my generation, I thought of my restored RD350 as my "do everything" bike, and my SV650S was "big." Crazy to think this bike is considered small or entry-level. As an experienced rider, I could see this being my new baseline bike.
Almost 1500 miles on mine. Love it so far! The only con I have so far is the high speed stability when going through curves. But then again, I don’t think the engineers envisioned the buyer of this bike leaning it over at 100mph 🤔
Could probably be bc of how the controls are set up. Rearsets and clip ons can make a big difference in how you ride and lean into corners and that could help a lot
@@sushikitten1679 maybe. I’m also about 205 pounds and the bike is really light. The other bad part about the bike is that the aftermarket support is terrible.
@@ChevyCorvetteZ Due to the sporty but upright seating position it’s pretty comfortable. I can sit on it for about an hour until the seat starts to feel a lil rough. No issues yet
If enough people are willing to give a good Chinese manufacturer a chance and more of these hit the streets it'll catch like wildfire. There's a guy in town here that rides around on their 300SS and it looks incredible too. Very clean lines and by all appearances looks more upmarket than an R3 or CBR300 so they got that part covered. Now CFMoto is coming for team green with this 450SS. I'm going to be test riding one and possibly bringing one home in a few weeks to get my feet wet in the sportbike world ,after riding cruisers for a few decades, this bike is calling my name.
@@Erstwhile.Freeman They price it that low because they're able to manufacture their bikes at a higher volume than their competitors. The Big 4 outsources their manufacturing in China, India, etc but the volume of bikes they make still pales in comparison to China (CFMoto also has factories outside China). I can't blame people for not knowing this, but Japan has been technologically behind for a very long time, their companies can't afford to manufacture their products in Japan (due to socio-economic reasons like high labour cost and aging population). So the "I'll never buy Chinese" doesn't make sense in today's age. Even if you buy Japanese, you're technically buying a bike that was made in China, or atleast a huge portion of the bike is. You just end up paying more for Branding.
@@Erstwhile.Freemana just as good or better product at a better price isn't cheating. It's good business for the free market. Never get comfortable get competitive.
Ive been eyeing a Yamaha R3 for years as I debate with my inner demons about getting my first bike, always thought I will do a R3 for my first bike...I watch a lot of youtube bike content and was just getting my occasional R3 content fix to remind myself to do that and stumbled across a cfmoto 300......this ultimately lead me to finding the new cfmoto 450 sr with the rear single arm, the dive planes(canards, winglets, whatever tf you call em). I will be getting this for my first bike without a doubt, the price/value is worth the reliability gamble . Tail tidy upgrade, mirror upgrade, and slip on exhaust and this thing is a steal.... a shit ton of value.
I have the 250SR and my little brother got the 450SR. It’s 250SR ‘coz in my country it’s not 300cc but 250cc and then 400/600cc. I love the 450SR because it’s heavy and light on the move. I can’t quite describe it. All I know is the bike is nimble on the move given it’s close to 200kg with max fuel and my weight. The throttle’s response is… I would say fine? I mean, it won’t be easy to wheelie and it’s not torquing too much power too sudden that you’d lose control. The best part is the exhaust as it sounds like MT-07. My brother put an akrapovic without a silencer and the sound is like a superbike. The minute he enter our neighborhood I know it’s him.
It's a beautiful machine. It's not a game changer, but it is another option in the market. Turn signals on the mirrors?! Awesome. Upside-down front forks?! Why isn't everyone doing that? Aprilia like front end.... Yes. I'm 62 years old. I've downsized from the liter class a few years ago. Being older, I'm not into the Ninja 650 lean over. I like tucked legs though . I love my 650 Versys. CF Moto needs to address the different riding styles with their new engine in different frames like all the other companies do, while maintaining beautiful styling. Retiring in Thailand soon and not sure if this will be available, but it's not my cup of tea. In countries like Thailand that are scooter HEAVY, there's a reason... Light, quick, maneuverable... Period. I saw maybe two 650's in two weeks. Most people on actual motorcycles were riding 300cc max. Personally, for the city, that makes sense. I'm looking at the Royal Enfield Hunter 350. Upright, not really light, but lighter than a 650 for sure, and the gears are built for hole shots to get you out of trouble. The top four from Japan aren't going to do anything. CF Moto has been increasing their prices since their debut. It won't be long until their prices are in line with all the rest, so I'd stop praising then too much. Those bikes are WAY cheaper overseas. You want to know why? When i see the Kawasaki Ninja 400, 650, 1000 sticker price... THAT'S WHAT I PAY! NO DEALER CHARGE. NO SHIPPING BS CHARGE, NO EXTRA CHARGES - PERIOD! That equates to saving about $1,500USD on the same motorcycle. You wonder why I'm moving? American greed.
One of the best beginners bikes atm , and so far people have been putting miles on these things with no complaints besides available parts and aftermarket support. But it’s fairly new into the game
I asked about the cf moto a few weeks ago on the server and ppl were suspicious because its chinese, im glad to see it on the high light and that many big bike Channels are very positive about it
For all the research I've done about this bike for about a month or so, I haven't been able to find major reliability issues pointed out by people who've had them for sometime not just in the US but also in Philippines, Australia and Indonesia where CFMoto has been around for a long time. It is a bit early in the US to claim that, but I have a hunch they will turn out to be as reliable as KTMs.
Their bikes are only just now being sold in the US. They’ve been exporting to other countries for years, even in the US they’re produced other vehicles that hold up just as well as competitors.
OC i think 2024 or 2025 will be a absolute different story than what we have right now, hopefully they try to match the 450ss. what i cant wait for is a 600cc from cfmoto with this design. itd break the internet
OC. This bike is literally a no-brainer. first vid of yours i've seen in ages. couldn't find the time, but i made time for this video. 👍 i like the white and blue version as well btw. only needs a slip-on now. btw: you can get seats tailor made for any bike which many people recommend anyways, but this also comes with different seat hight (and shape?) options from the factory - maybe ask back with your lender? shame for the extra weight and power penalty for the A2-class in the EU 😞 please take it to the mountains after breaking it in. and just... just keep it? 😅🙈 did you know: they've anounced an even sharper "450 SR S" ? (one-sided swing arm and short underbelly exhaust)
I like in Australia and have a 21 model 650 nk .. it has been super good and reliable.. it sometimes gets parked out in the weather near the beach and not one bolt has any rust.. the bike is sick . Definitely a look at for the price.. great video
I was really on the fence about the 450SS. I went with the 650NK which isn't bad... But I really should have just bought the 450SS. However, my wife is seething about the 450NK coming to the US and I want the 800NK
Believe me, the aftermarket is going to catch up very fast with not only replacement parts, but upgrades and goodies also. They have already started, and selection and availability will only increase---there's money for them to make here, as these bikes get popular, and get rave reviews. As far as reliability, I guess only time will tell, but as a company that's partnered with KTM, and wants to do well to sell motorcycles (and be successful=make a profit) I personally would have little concern.
CFMoto is also gearing up for more service points/dealerships in the US. Everything I've read this is the beginning of a serious push in the market here. The local Indian dealership sells CF Moto here. Along with Enfields.
@@weylins It sounds good in all aspects but the back of my mind keeps on telling me this is a pump and dump and the center of gravity is different from other 400s. I've seen some videos of this bike on the track and I hear its harder to corner at high speeds over similar CC engines. My goal is a high CC inline 4 anyways and the ninja 400 has better resell valu at the moment so I think I may just start on that.
@rea280 I never worry about reselling value. If I did, I wouldn't have bought the 2014 Honda Forza 300 I have right now. It's not like I'll reselling every few years. Next bike will be my bike for a long time.
@rea280 CF Moto also just opened a new US HQ in Minnesota. And now have a 500 and 675 on the way next year. They're committed to the US and European markets. And they've been in the US market since 2002 with ATV and SxS. Folks keep acting like they're a new company. They're not new, just a new direction for a company already used to small engine machines.
OC: No kidding, between your last video and this one- we picked one up today for my wife. She traded her CBR300R for this thing, and MAN is it sweet. To contribute to the question of what it'll do to the entry-level class from the big 4: I think Kawasaki will find a way to integrate the ZX4RR TFT into the N400, along with Brembo's BUT with increasing the price... I think Yamaha will keep the R3 relatively unchanged; same for Hondas CBR500R- they just updated it, and twin Nissin's, plus the tech and updated forks justify the price IMO. The value of the 450SS is there. AND it sounds phenomenal in person. Thanks for your content! Always a pleasure watching.

@@aaronwheat5727 Not yet, but given the success of the 450SS and its rapid gain in market share against the Ninja 400, CFMOTO would be foolish not to try and capitalize on the naked market with the 450NK. I'm hoping for a 2024 release 🤞
I got the chance to take the 450SS for a demo ride recently and I agree about it feeling top heavy. The wheels swing out a lot when diving into a corner, likely due to a higher center of gravity. Other than that it's a great bike.
OC: it's getting close to the edge of where I'd want to call it a beginner bike. that said, as an intermediate bike, I think it's great! it'll be a great track bike I think, and it's got the ninja 400 beat there. and the ZX-4RR is a different beast altogether. but man... it's the best looking beginner bike hands down.

Was a blast to ride, more fun than the Gsxs 1000 S right after the little SS450.
i recall they are now in sbk? so means they got enough knowledge and the bike is not a throw away bike at its price
Today, picked up mine. As beginner rider I’m having a blast on this bike. The attention this bike is getting on road is crazy!
How’s the comfort? Also how tall are you and is the bike too big?
I just picked up my 450 sr yesterday, absolutely unreal. Feel so surprisingly planted. Looks amazing, surprisingly good pull on it, it’s just… amazing.
See how it handles the first 1000 km on Aussie roads
how much cc does it have?
what company has the best insurance for it?

How has the bike been since you bought it? I'm also in Australia so I'm curious
Gooday Mate. Im in Oz. How does the adjustable seat work, or is there a high and low seat?
god i wish that gp shift option was a thing on everysingle bike, CFMoto is absolutly killing it
Hearing this engine really makes me wish Yamaha would beef up their R3 with a cross plane engine (bonus if it's a bit bigger)
If the r3 got a cross plane engine that would be a blessing
@@sleeper.simulant7327 you explained linear but forgot explaining flat power band. maybe you did but didnt do so adequately. you just repeated that they dont rev as high. got it. so they plateau early? i guess its a feel thing. hard to explain maybe. i understand what the words mean, but its just not truly in context. all good.
This is one curveball thrown out of nowhere. I hope it's reliability holds up decently!

What Yamaha frame do they make?
I have heard the same thing.
@@jeeewhyyypheeeyep I once saw a Z900 with a Honda filter on it working just fine 😂

Never thought the Ninja 400 would have competition but here we are
Japanese reliability > Chinese reliability
Yeah this bike isn’t even close to Kawasaki no way I’m paying that much or even considering a Chinese bike.
Aprilia is about to step in the game, but it's going to be a question as far as cost and reliability goes
My buddy dumped my 650nk while screwing around with it. Only broke the clutch lever. I planned on swapping it out anyway so no hard 😂
5:28 the blue trim on the wheels look soo good
OC: Definitely is an amazing looking bike and if it's bulletproof reliable then I'm absolutely picking one up.
Edit: Changed my mind guys I’m gonna get a Honda CBR650R. lol
@@ChevyCorvetteZyou sound like me but I went with the r3 and it’s been a pure blast wringing it out after the r6 throttle mod 🤙
It is very concerning that you think that's a good thing.
wait, why is leaning the bike a bad thing in your opinion? could you explain that pls?@@FrankFurther
any problems in terms of reliability over this past 9months?
I've already started calculating my monthly payment and see how to get one. I haven't touched a bike's handlebars ever before in my life, i'm in love. Don't even have the license, will need to get that too.
I wish beginner bikes looked this awesome when I first started riding. Great time to be a new rider, a lot of great, reasonable options

This is my first bike, so I can't compare it to other bikes but I absolutely love the 450ss. I have no complaints thus far 🤙🏽
Many seats have harder foam to make the seat last a lot longer. Hoping that's the case here and after a few thousand miles it softens up.
You didn't notice the seat already had wrinkle bubbles forming in it 25:06 . I have a 2012 Ninja 650 and there is not a single wrinkle in the seat. I have a 2017 z650 and not a single wrinkle in the seat.

@@tyrant1178 Eliminator 125, Trail 125, and then a Ninja 300. Yeah they are super lucky.

CF moto might be the only Chinese brand I’d consider. Reputation and history matter a lot in the USA. And they’ve almost been around long enough?

The minute he enter our neighborhood I know it’s him.
words cant explain how much i want this bike
The turn-on sequence is the same in the front and back for the lights. Which is cool.
I think CFMoto is differemt from other chinese brands. They don't do white labelling for other brands, they make high CC models and so on
One of the best beginners bikes atm , and so far people have been putting miles on these things with no complaints besides available parts and aftermarket support. But it’s fairly new into the game
Got my first bike last summer - Kawasaki Z400 - wish I would have waited for this!
This bike is absolutely gorgeous
I have a ninja 650 and I'm jealous of this bike....
I asked about the cf moto a few weeks ago on the server and ppl were suspicious because its chinese, im glad to see it on the high light and that many big bike Channels are very positive about it
I like the mirror blinkers and light show you get when the lights come on. Cool additions
The black magic you’re referring to is big brands getting greedy
Dude… love the sound checks…. Don’t ever stop being you man! 😂😂😂
In China we get this bike for about CNY 32,000(with taxes and insurance), about $4,400. It's truely a n amazing bike for everyone.
This’ll be me soon I can’t wait !
love the video quality , is it color graded? cinematic.
OC do 10,000 miles tour with this bike? make it vlog style and see how it holds up after that
OC i think 2024 or 2025 will be a absolute different story than what we have right now, hopefully they try to match the 450ss. what i cant wait for is a 600cc from cfmoto with this design. itd break the internet
you mean i4 600s? iirc KTM never made them so it would probably be closer to that RC8C, maybe a milder version if CFMoto ever make a supersport
They're coming out with a 1000cc v4 version that will look like the 450ss just wayyy faster.
this bike is just out of the world... O my gosh! What a beast it is!!!
OC I need more videos on this bike. Because this bike is so dam awesome 😮

OC. This bike is literally a no-brainer. first vid of yours i've seen in ages. couldn't find the time, but i made time for this video. 👍
i like the white and blue version as well btw. only needs a slip-on now. btw: you can get seats tailor made for any bike which many people recommend anyways, but this also comes with different seat hight (and shape?) options from the factory - maybe ask back with your lender? shame for the extra weight and power penalty for the A2-class in the EU 😞
please take it to the mountains after breaking it in. and just... just keep it? 😅🙈
did you know: they've anounced an even sharper "450 SR S" ? (one-sided swing arm and short underbelly exhaust)
I like in Australia and have a 21 model 650 nk .. it has been super good and reliable.. it sometimes gets parked out in the weather near the beach and not one bolt has any rust.. the bike is sick . Definitely a look at for the price.. great video
I was really on the fence about the 450SS. I went with the 650NK which isn't bad... But I really should have just bought the 450SS. However, my wife is seething about the 450NK coming to the US and I want the 800NK
Where was this bike and all the other amazing beginner bikes when I started riding back in 2012?!?!?!!!
@@weylins yeah maybe I’m just xenophobic. I’ll let you know what I decide but you’re right I’m probably paranoid for no reason.
You need to put the 450SS next to the Ninja 500 (aka Ninja 451) and compare those two.
Love your video, I didn't know about the anti-theft system they have in it, it's amazing, I'm definitely buying it
OC: No kidding, between your last video and this one- we picked one up today for my wife.
I cant wait until someone does a de-cat, and Woolrich can flash the ecu!!!
I’m loving mine so much
OC: I'm a new rider looking for my first bike and this looks like an awesome choice for one! Who doesn't want a mini GP Moto bike?
Bro I’ve been riding for about 5 or 6 years… across 4 or 5 bikes… mostly sport cruisers, Harley Vrod, then had a LiveWire for a bit and now an FXDR… I really really do think I’m gonna go buy this bike as a second bike in the VERY near future. I’ve seen a LOT on them and honestly even though every bike I’ve had has had double almost triple the power.. I feel like you cannot get a better steal of a bike. I wish they made this bike in a 600 or a 750 SO bad.. but the fact that it looks this good. Sounds as good as it does with the 270 crank at 5 grand ( a lot are going for less than 5 new)… I mean CMON
THX THE GODS OF 2 WHEELS and to *CFMOTO* for *making the 1st 450cc crossplane!!!!!* -to me they're gods themselves for doing what's gonna shake the 2W-earth in the BETTER and more interesting direction
PLUS -- the "NK"(naked) is on it's way..
I need a vid on beginner bikes for taller riders !!!!!!!!
I’m glad everyone is finally coming around. 💯 Been hip 😎
Hurd a timeframe on the 450nk ?
@@aaronwheat5727 Not yet, but given the success of the 450SS and its rapid gain in market share against the Ninja 400, CFMOTO would be foolish not to try and capitalize on the naked market with the 450NK. I'm hoping for a 2024 release 🤞
I’m so impressed by the quality of Chase’s vids. My first view was the Concors1400 waaaaaay back in like 2015. Great stuff!!! Cool bike too 👍🏼
I got the chance to take the 450SS for a demo ride recently and I agree about it feeling top heavy. The wheels swing out a lot when diving into a corner, likely due to a higher center of gravity. Other than that it's a great bike.
Currently waiting for the CF Moto 500 SS (4-cylinders) & 675 SS (3-cylinders). Future looks bright for them.
OC: I do believe this bike may be "smallbore" enough to try out. It's definitely good looking 🤩
Bikes given off Tron Legacy vibes
Really like these cfmotos ss both the 300 and this one. I'm sold and they look soo good. Ima start out on that 300ss. Small bores are the shiz
You gotta do a side by side comparison with the ninja 400!
Seen one yesterday and I was like oh s**t there it is looks way better in person
The big 4 are really going to have to pay attention to this.
I have a 2007 Honda VTX 1800R. This thing moves for a cruiser that weighs almost 800 lbs. O-60 mph 3.8 seconds over 100 hp.
I may pick up a CFMoto 450 SS for when I want to lean and power through the twisty’s.
I have a 22 Grom and my son just bought a CF Moto Papio , That Papio is one spunky little bike . , I just might make my next bike the 450 SS . Not getting rid of the Grom tho.
I love Groms. They are a blast to ride.
Too funny, that is my route to the office (until you turned at DD) and stay at the Alpharetta Even Hotel.
Hell of a surprising bike. It'll be very interesting to see how the new Kove 400 inline 4 will do.
This bike has all my favorite colors .. I just wish it was a 650 or 750 and i’d buy it for sure
Ready to see after market and track parts for these........
R&G Racing has some track parts for it.
Thank u for shedding light on this beautiful Cfmoto 👏🏾👏🏾❤
