I put an Ace folder on my PSA GF3. I then made a cheek pad for the top bar from a section of 1/2 inch interior diameter foam rubber pipe insulation. I got it at Lowe's. I used the foam rubber rather than the poly. It wasn't as thick, so it wouldn't interfere with the stock opening completely. I finished it by wrapping it with strips of black Gorilla duct tape, to strengthen and protect it. Looks nice and clean.
Hello, Please, I would like to know how I can replace the metal folding stock of my AKS-47 (SDM Beijing) 7.62x29 rifle, with a fixed wooden stock or a movable plastic stock (angle from 0 ° to 180 ° - folding stock ). I want to replace my foldable stock because I have mounted the AK Master Mount side rail and now my folding stock no longer closes. Of course, I can take down the AK Master Mount side rail and try another arrangement to attach the telescope, but this accommodation is fine for me. However I would like a mobile stock that closes on the right side (angle from 0 ° to 180 °) because on the left side there is AK Master Mount side rail. Surely, in my case, would need an adapter after the disassembly of my folding stock. I can send photos. I thank you in advance for your help. With best regards,
The FSM is made to work with every stock we have. If you have an AR style stock, then you will need either the FSM-AR or CAR stock adapter and one of the other folders. The other stocks like the AKFX and Triangle stocks bolt straight into the folders. Hope that helps!
interesting can u guys make one where you put the folding hinge from ace on the block and then add the stock to the hinge to give the ak a folding stock ?
JOE the serb -Ace sells an attachment called a “pig nose adapter” that screws into that block and allows you to use any M4 stock (and some fixed A2s with an after market attachment). Ace makes a folding stock adapter that will screw into the pig nose. Actually, there are a lot of alternative adapters that fold using various lock ups and releases depending on the type of folding stock you prefer.
I use the RBK adapter block because I’ve got a milled receiver, but looking at this one, check out which receiver block allows you to attach any M4 stock. This one looks like it’s specifically for Ace’s line of stocks.
