Every so often I have a hard time getting my slide back on. Now I’m sure it was the second issue. Thank you so much for this video.
I’m glad this video helped out. Thanks for watching.
The amount of people who cried "it's not a problem" without reading your previous replies are ridiculous. Appreciate what you do UBR Arsenal, fucking sucks to be a content creator today. Everyone's the 6-year-old expert.
Thanks so much for this comment. You really hit the nail on the head. Have a great day bro.

Facts!!!
Where was this video a few days ago!? I struggled for an hour to get my slide back on. I must’ve just hit the right combo eventually but man, I could use this video👊
Sorry TH-cams algorithm didn’t show you this video sooner. Either way I’m glad the video helped. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. Have a great day.

I must have an early model P365 and it happened to me. Since still under warranty, I sent it back to Sig Sauer for repair not knowing the problem myself. Willing to bet that when it comes back it will have the up grade. If it gets the upgrade, that should help prevent it from happening again. At least now I know how to over come the problem. Other wise, I am quite happy with the firearm.
Thanks for sharing this information. Please keep me posted once you receive yours back, so that I can update others. Have a great day!
What upgrade?
I don't own a P365. However, I am reminded of the importance of knowing what could go wrong with field stripping and the ease needed to put a pistol back together. I had an FFL dealer trying so hard to sell me a Kahr. I got the idea to have him show me how it was field stripped and put back together. When I left, the guy still had the Kahr in pieces trying to get it back together.
Yup, that’s why I make these videos. I’d love to get my hand on a Kahr to see if I could do it. Haha. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. Have a great day.
The second issue I have had on a couple other guns. One was a Khar.
I have solved the issues with my Sig P365 by getting rid of it.
🤣😂🤣
2 second fix ! Thank you

Thanks, I encountered these on my new P365.

Wow, thanks for the advice. Every time I clean my P365 I always feel like a monkey doing something terrible to a football - now I know what I'm doing wrong. I spent $50 on an armorers block just so I wouldn't bruise my thumbs working the take down lever. The gun is nice and small, I use it for pocket carry in an Alabama Holster. But , I dread the thought of field dressing the weapon for cleaning. Those two common issues have been a real thorn in my side.

Another issue is the receiver pin, it was coming out while firing the p365 at the range. It’s still a fun gun to shoot. The hellcat has some quality issues too and that’s what makes it hard to choose between these two popular pistols.
The retention springs that hold the receiver pin in may be missing or weak. You might want to reach out to SIG and ask them to replace them for you. Or you could just buy them and replace them yourself. I added a link below that shows you where to get them if you’re interested. Have a great day.

Got a new one last week. Love the thing so far. Cleaned it after I bought it and the day after I shot it and didn’t notice any of these things, I’ll have to look next time. I’ll be surprised if it rusts as long as it’s wiped down weekly at least since it’s now with me everyday. We’ll see.
Congrats on your new P365. These are things that can happen but easy to fix. As far as the rust, you should be fine as long as you take care of it. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. Have a great day.
Thanks much

Mine rusted like a boat anchor in less than 2 months, and sig wouldn't warranty it. They said none of the parts (front/rear sights, backplate, and slide near the sights) weren't "coated". So, it wasn't covered. I have a p226 that went on 3 deployments with me and I've owned it for over 15 years. No rust. Sig will NEVER get my business again.🎉
Sorry to hear you're having this issue. I've had mine for multiple years and I EDC mine in the summer. Shockingly it still has no rust yet. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. Have a great day.
I have an X-Macro and a couple 365LX's one of which was bought in 2019. I had a weird sort of corrosion spot on the first 'LX on the left side of the slide where the P365 engraving was. Pretty sure it was from condensation that I failed to wipe off. Never rusted, but wrecked the nitron finish in that small spot. One of my 17 round mag spares that I carry developed what I thought was a rust spot that came off with some gun lube and steel wool. There's still a slight mark there, but it didn't go down to bare metal. Everyone's body chemistry is different. Maybe your sweat is a bit more corrosive than most, or maybe you got a bad batch. I'm 3 for 3 with no real rust to speak of.
First issue is plaguing me. I did accidentally bump the take down lever back to 3 o clock. Got it back down. But now when I put the slide on, I can't get it back to 3 o clock to lock the slide in place. Everything else seems fine. Slide will go all the way to the rear. Just cannot get take down lever back to 3 o clock.
Not a problem at all outstanding weapon
I had a hard time coming up with a title that fit what I was trying to show. I don't think it's necessarily a problem, these are things that can come up that can be an issue. The p365 is my primary carry pistol. 👍🏼
Is a problem. Trash
Every handgun with a safety lever will stick up some times preventing you from putting your slide back on, this is not something that only happens to Sigs.
Have the second issue. Is that normal a brand new XL or should i call Sig to get it fixed?
I think that's normal. You could try to ask them to fix it. I don't know how that will go. Thanks for watching and have a great day.
Still better than a Glock.
👍🏼
What holosun do you have on there
Hi David, the link below will take you to the Holosun used in this video.

Wait till the RUST on slide comes out, less than a year 😥
I’ve had this one for over nine months and it’s my main carry pistol. This one still doesn’t have any rust yet. 👍🏼
Try maintaining your weapon. Should wipe it down once a week if your carrying it especially in humid climates
My take down lever will not stay in the down position even pushing down the slide lock lever.
In your case, you'll have to push the slide lock up and then hold the takedown lever down in the six o'clock position. Then let go of the slide lock and keep holding the takedown lever until you get your slide on and pulled to the rear. Hope that helps.
Am I gonna regret buying 356 over m18
It really comes down to what you're going to use it for.
Wanted the 365 to carry in the forest and m18 for targets shooting n drill
Mine is not extracting ... 1 shot and I have to manually pull out the spent shell... Did something wrong for sure...
You might want to consider taking it to a gun smith because that’s definitely not normal. Let me know how you make out.
This is a feature not a flaw
Oh nice! Haha!
I got away from SIG. SIGs pricing is unjustified! You can get same quality or better for cheaper prices. Plus sig name comes up into too much bs. I only have a p322 left.
I totally understand how you feel. It's hard not to think that way when there's so much negative information out there.
My slide release is insanely difficult to depress. Anyone else have that issue?
Is it brand new?
@@UBRArsenal it is. I was hoping my wife would take a liking to it and she cannot operate it at all. I have a hard time myself
Based on my experience, your firearm should start to break in after firing around 300+ rounds, which should make dropping the slide with the slide lock easier. However, it's important to keep in mind that pulling the slide back to unlock the slide would be easier for your wife. In my training, I was always advised against using the slide lock and instead pulling the slide back to unlock the slide. This technique has many benefits. I hope this information is helpful for you. Have a great day. 👍🏼
@@UBRArsenalthat’s it. I should have thought of that myself. I guess I was fixated on one hand manipulation but yeah you’re right. Thanks 👍🏼
No worries. I'm glad it helped. Enjoy your new pistol and have a great day.
Sig is way overpriced for what it is…..
Not problems at all.
I had a hard time naming the video. I didn’t mean this in a negative way. The P365 is still my favorite EDC pistol. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. Have a great day.
Wouldn’t call any of this an “issue” or a “problem”.
I had a hard time trying to figure out what to title the video. I didn’t mean this as a bad thing.
@@UBRArsenal I’ve had 3 variations and modded a first gen into a 365x and I’ve literally never had an issue out of any of them. I’m a skinny dude so it’s harder for me to conceal a lot of pistols especially in summer. These, even in the xl variant, are great for that purpose. Even with a dot.
I agree, I have three variations too. I’m currently EDCing the xmacro and even though it’s bigger than the P365x it’s still easy to conceal. I think the p365 is the best conceal carry pistol out there to date.
If you want to check out a video of the one I built. Click the link below. The video lists out everything in the build and why I pick it.

Yeah more like bad engineering
No problem just pointless complaining for clicks. Unlike this video!
