"a threaded barrel allows you to disassemble faster..." BS! Says no one, who ever disassembled a semiautomatic with threaded barrel with thread protector. Serious Loss of credibility.
Don't forget, the longer barrel 'provides for greater accuracy... ' somehow... Longer sight radius may help with practical accuracy but, just a barrel that stick out forward of the slide, so that when aimed, it cannot even be seen ?😮
I immediately paused this video upon hearing this part and wont waste my time with the rest of the video. Adding the extra step of removing the thread protector/muzzle device before removing the barrel from the slide somehow is faster then the barrel sliding out freely, hell you might even need a tool now to remove a comp. Straight-up misinformation.
A year ago when I purchased my 365xl, the first upgrade I did was to replace the magazine release with the most expensive one out there ( don’t recall the name) anyway went to the range and after each round the magazine would fall out. Went home installed the OEM one, drove back to the range and everything was fine. Prior to that incident and moving forward I don’t replace anything that can affect the reliability of the firearm especially I my carry it’s sights only.
A threaded barrel isn’t going to improve accuracy enough to justify its cost. I bought a True Precision barrel and it scratched the you-know-what out of my slide. These threaded barrels may also create issues with your holster if it’s not open ended. The only reason I can see buying a threaded barrel is if you plan on running a comp on the range.
“It’s like adding a cherry on top of the icing” or adding another exhibit on top of a huge pile of overwhelming “evidence” that the state prosecutor already has, that you were actively looking for an excuse to use your weapon in a self defense scenario. If you have to change that much about your weapon why not just buy a different weapon? Range toys I get. But my personal standards are if I don’t have a practical and specific use for it then I don’t need it and should probably spend that money on ammo and training. Just a personal preference.
My 365 has the MCarbo Flat trigger. It is machined as opposed to Sig’s cast trigger. I have MCarbo’s Trigger Spring Kit. It releases trigger pull by about 40%. I also swapped out the recoil Spring with MCarbo’s. That minimizes recoil. I swapped out the Mag release spring from MCarbo. A much more positive release of the mag. The last thing i did was swapped out the original slide to Sig’s slide that allowed me to add a Holosun 507k.
@@Happ465the base plate is the bottom of the magazine. They make bigger base plates that allow you to fit more rounds in the mag. I understand that you didn’t replace that, but that is what he was asking I think.
5:50 Uh isn't that a kel-tec p10 (?) from a few decades ago when the asshult weapons ban limited new magazines to 10 rounds. It would actually be interesting to compare the specs (not quality, etc.) of these pistols. Is the p365 really the 1st micro compact 10round or the 1st of a newer, better generation of them?
It's still thinner than a full sized pistol and even if you put a Compensator on the standard P365 it only makes it the same length as the P365XL which is also quite small and concealable.
The Wilson Combat Grip Modules are probably one of the least expensive upgrades & the most crucial. These give the pistol a firm grip, more stability & overall (I think( feels like a totally different gun). The only Sig Sauer I have not touched is the (Overpriced) Sig Sauer P365 XL "Custom Works" as it comes with a laser cut grip, gold titaniun barrel & trigger. It has the lighting cuts etc. The price tag -I got lucky @ 1,200. I do want to upgrade my origional. Thank you for the great video. I am going to buy the parts. I need someone to install, as I do not know what I am doing. Take care-God bless.
@@IgorOchev Why does it not work for the CA p365? From my understanding, they are the same with the exception that the CA has to have something letting the user know if the gun is hot or not.
@@joer8386 LCI (loaded chamber indicator ) is in the slide, so its not a problem. It must be safety ... I read through some reviews on WC website and some people mentioned it. I emailed WC also and they confirmed. Too bad. Has anyone tried Strikerindustries? It does work with CA version.
@@theeemightybuck1 How are you enjoying the Wilson Combat Grip and if I purchased the Wilson Combat Grip, would the Green Lima Laser still fit the P365?
It's a pocket rocket. Nothing less, nothing more. A plus two mag is all that's needed unless you already have an X. Did I mention a 40mm Potato Launcher as a great upgrade? lol
This is BS threaded barrels make it take longer to strip as u have to unthread the protector.. And accuracy.. Nothing At All that anyone would notice.. And the reset point on the trigger is lil to far forward..
"Cheap dirt ammo?" What's that? Another form of artificial (not very) intelligence? Is "Ted" the bot's name? You're still not my boy, Ted. I guess those "bullets" are dummy rounds.

Yeah its AI bs
Any channel that sounds like AI and calls a round a “bullet” isnt for me

Opening up with a blatant lie about how threaded barrels make disassembling quicker is wild.
1:35 how does having to screw off the thread cover make it faster?

That or adding a suppressor... but I would not know of any reasons to have a threaded barrel on its own.
This sounds like AI.

Cannot get the threaded barrel in WA in time. That's suck.

What is even the point getting a micro compact if you slap all that bs on it and make it as bulky as full sized gun?
It's still thinner than a full sized pistol and even if you put a Compensator on the standard P365 it only makes it the same length as the P365XL which is also quite small and concealable.
Comp's can also keep the slide from getting out of battery in a struggle.
We have keltec p11 to thank lol 12+1 for 25 plus years
But p365 is looking pretty good to me.
Maybe in a 30 super carry with 20+1 capacity
