Great video, beautiful car. It's kind of hard to believe how lucky I got with my 2006 GT... I paid $9,200 back in 2016 for this car, and it had a check engine light on, it had an airbag light on, the steering wheel wobbled because the rims were out of balance, the front turn signals didn't work because some idiot had cut the wires, the headlights didn't work because, again, some idiot had attempted to install aftermarket ones...and yet it ran so well and I had such a good feeling about it, so I bought it anyway. And these issues were easy to resolve, and six years later, this car has given me 26,000 miles of mostly trouble-free driving. It has NEVER broken down on me. And I could probably sell it for as much as I bought it for six years ago! It also gets 22 miles per gallon, which I think is pretty good for a V8. Here's an issue you didn't touch on that's endemic to these cars: my Mustang has a water leak in the cabin, and this results in the kick panel computer getting SOAKED. Weird stuff happens as a result. The door locks cycle repeatedly, one of the tail lights stays on all the time, the A/C is on when you start the car, the stereo never turns off... I put a dehumidifier in my car over the weekend and it resolved everything. Don't pay $600 or whatever outrageous price the dealership expects to replace and program the kick panel computer. A dehumidifier truly works miracles. This issue is usually caused by the debris collectors in the engine bay getting clogged. Look it up. It wasn't the issue in my case--mine still leaks and I'm not sure why. Another thing is that second gear is notoriously and very randomly notchy in these Tremec transmissions. It's nothing to worry about--just know that sometimes you CANNOT get the car into second gear, and it's not your fault ;) It's a great transmission, just a weird quirk it has. I have a Hurst shifter, so my transmission is especially notchy--by design--so it's par for the course as far as I'm concerned. I'm ashamed to admit that I've neglected the oil changes in my Mustang...fortunately, the highest interval was 6,000 miles, and since then I've switched to full synthetic. I used to use the genuine Motorcraft synthetic blend, but it occurred to me that it was more expensive and less protective. I was fully aware of the phasers, and yet...I'm also very lazy. Another thing is that the door handles get sticky--which is to say, they get stuck in the "out" position. I noticed this while doing a 180 in my car--and the passenger door unexpectedly swung open. I hope I have been helpful to those who were willing to slog through my overly-long comment :)

Ture, mine did that at around the 10 year mark of ownership. I had to scrub all the old glue off and apply 3M spray adhesive to get it to stay. It looks great now, it just took a couple of hours on a Saturday. There is also an aftermarket black plastic panel you can get that doesn't have the leather on it that also looks great.
