My favourite gemstones are amber, ruby and jet. I can’t afford rubies but I have amber and jet. Jet represents, for me at least, mystery. It’s the night sky. It’s standing on the edge of the known and looking toward the unknown with deep curiosity to expand understanding.
I also love Jet. Such a different kind of stone.

Jet is amazing to wear for empaths. I love it more than black tourmaline.
I wear it over the heart chakra. Don't forget to cleanse it energetically after each use. I put mine on a bed of salt. Selenite would also do.
It makes my energy run so much smoother. The ever elusive "present moment" feel easier to access. Worries dissipate and seem much less important.
If you meditate with it on your root chakra you may eventually trigger a kundalini awakening. That can get pretty intense if you're not looking for a life changing (and disrupting...) spiritual experience.

I am an empath. I didn't ask for this nor do I want it. But, it's reality to me. I have alot of Jet. Now, I know what to do with it. If anyone needs Jet? Hit me up.
