I know this is an old video, but to any new people, make sure you’re getting “mystic merlinite” which is the purple and silver stone Kyle is talking about. It’s also called “indigo gabbro”. “Merlinite” is actually a completely different mineral, also called “dendritic agate”. A quick google search will explain the difference to you! Yes - I've heard of that distinction - but this stuff is so ubiquitously called simply Merlinite (and the other stuff would more generally be called Dendritic Agate) that I'm (perhaps lazily) letting this be the "default" and defacto Merlinite. Thanks for sharing the nuance, always welcome! Kyle

Very cool list. I mostly use, Tourmaline, Nuumite and Shungite. I wear the Nuumite at all times. I feel like those three do the trick for me. I always get comments from readers on how spiritually protected I am and I can feel it. Another good way to protect yourself is not to be dipping your toe in those dark energy pools to begin with. I call it dancing with the dark. . As in, don't watch that negative stuff on TV ( be it negative news or creepy horror flicks), hang with those kinds of people, play with dark magick, spend time in a place with a bad vibe or let just anyone into your home or aura. Keep your vibe as high as you can at all times. Do your own shadow work. Defense, not offense. It's easier to keep that stuff out than to get it out once it's in.
Well not dancing with the dark as you put it is like saying I'll NEVER GO OUTSIDE at some point you may have to....eventually!💯🤷🏾♀️🙏🏿

I can't look it up right now - but I have a brilliant interpretation of Hypersthene - having to do with its role in the complex understanding of the Shadow Self. Nuumite - particularly "my version of it" (Coppernite) - has a different, protective function. Consider buying my book - you'll see it on my site - www.CrystalConcentrics.com. Your Nuummite might actually be Coppernite. They are often confused even by crystal shops. 99% are really Coppernite.
Yes - I got onto the Nuumite bandwagon when Coppernite was all that was available - and it was being marketed at Nuumite. But I'm okay with that - because I actually like the Coppernite more. I like Black Obsidian, but not for this purpose, I think of it as more for New Beginnings, Opening to Possibility.

I like your video very much. Just asking myself why you show indigo gabbro and say it is merlinite.
So...the "Crystal World" (or community) that I'm in, that's what we call it...it's a New Age name attributed to the Gabbro that stuck (ie. we like it). Plus, it feels closer to what it's about energetically, as a conjurer's stone. Thanks for asking. Hey Kyle is it possible you can explain nuummite to show which is the real from Greenland since alot of people confuss the real one for coppernite and coppernite gets sold as nuummite alot often
So...I purchased what I suppose is the Coppernite from India AS Nuumite...and before learning (actually afterwards, 'cause I called that stuff Nuumite in my book)...the Greenland material is different (I know), but my reading of Nuumite is actually for the Coppernite (as a Protection stone deflecting negativity in the short range). I have a great piece of the "true" Nuumite from Greenland - and it's nice - but not as useful as the "fake" Nuumite to me. It's expensive, and the quality is all over the place. So I'm just as happy to embrace the Coppernite for the qualities it so richly has!
I use black onyx.
How about red fire agate and bronzite? I use it for protection and also black obsidian but you said not a protection stone.
I looked up Red Fire Agate - seems to be a Crackle Agate, or actual (brown) Fire Agate - and Bronzite is interesting too...I'm glad they work for you...don't resonate for this application with me. Is it possible to carry all these stones together?
You could certainly try carrying all these stones (at the same time), but doing your protection work with them at home, maybe taking out a few at time, might work equally well.
Can this protect me even if I don't take it with me when I go out but just put it in display at my home?

Absolutely relevant - all three - clusters can condition a room or sometimes scatter energy, depends on the type (I'd have to see it). Points are for focusing energies, though again, the shape matters. And druzy is certainly never scattered or confused, but it's more subtle. I hope that helps. Your NOT supposed to cut the chord you are supposed to meditate and imagine the chord from you to the person and your supposed to (with your hands) remove the chord from you that is connected to the other person by imagining your pulling the chord from the root out. NEVER cut the chord.
Cutting the energetic chord leaves a root still attached to you of which can leave a connection with the person your attempting to entergeticaly remove from your aura & body.....hence imagining (while taking your physical hand) and unplugging or removing the chord from your physical body that is connected to ______ person etc so fourth 😀 I hope that helps.
Also FYI Herkimer is NOT in the Quartz family it is a diamond not a Quartz.
Also there is a mirror meditation you can do to physically, energetically & spiritually ✨ protect you. You would sit like a yogi (legs criss cross apple sauce old school sitting) and you place your hands in the om 🕉 position on either knee resting and while sitting you invasion a mirror around your ENTIRE physical body 😉 This will help deflect any curses sent yiur way and will bounce them off your aura and send them back to who sent them immediately.

Your claim that Herkimers are Diamonds and NOT Quartz is flatly false, FYI. We can leave that to our viewers (and for you) to learn that through some simple research. Saying so does not reflect well on you, as a guest, but I can overlook that. It takes no time for anyone to determine that Herkimer Diamonds are INDEED a variety of Quartz. But what do I know? I've been only been in the business 35 years (lol). It's true - I've put out over 1000 videos on crystals, but I'm always willing to learn - if, in fact, I'm wrong.
Your commentary on cord-cutting however, is helpful, and fleshes out our understanding in that regard.

@@CrystalConcentrics Your right ✅ about Herkimer "Diamonds" they are NOT a diamond they ARE a Quartz. They fall at 7.5 on the scale of Diamonds and real diamonds fall on the 10 scale because they are real diamonds and Herkimers are not. So yes Herkimer "Diamonds" are a crystal. Shocked by that! For me this is probably due to the fact that Diamond is in the Herkimer name although it is not a diamond hence the name Herkimer Diamond.

As far as it not reflecting well on me to comment. I'm not too concerned with what people think. I have studied crystals and stones my entire life not diamonds or fake diamonds just recently I started to broaden my studies into diamonds as well along with stones, gem stones, crystals etc. There were somethings I already
knew about diamonds but didn't spend much time on them specifically and spent more time on protection stones, clearing stones etc and other stones for metaphysical purposes. Thanks!

I understand how most of crystals work. But what you're saying is meditateing with a Herkimer diamond will harden my aura and make it harder to penetrate. Is this correct? Also the nuummites mirror surface deflects bad energy back to the sender?
A few different things going on here.
First, we all are still learning, however confident we may be about what it is that we know and understand.
Next - about the Herkimer - I wouldn't say that it hardens your aura, per se, 'cause that sounds like a bad thing. Think of your aura as like your skin: soft, supple, and permeable. The fortress/shielding aspect is like a coat, or a scuba outfit, it's outside your Aura (or acting independent of it).
Now for the Nuumite (particularly my favorite type for this, which is actually Coppernite), you have that right. The reflective aspect does push others' negativity back at them.

But it's kind of intense! and I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing !chevron amethyst nuummite Herkimer diamond and selenite I placed them all in a bag! Of course I have a tektite pendant and a rose quartz pendant that may be factoring in as well
What about black obsidian?

Definitely never Obsidian (though Apache Tear Obsidian has a detoxifying effect akin to Smoky Quartz) - Black Obsidian specifically is NOT a protection stone - but rather the stone of Open Spaces, New Beginnings, and Fresh Starts.
