I've gotta give a shoutout to some surreal modes like Action Doom 2(an actually good mod) and sharpshooter 3d (another strange russian doom engine game).
It's worth mentioning that MM8BDM is even more fun with "class mods" that let you not only have a boss's look, but also their specific movesets. The best of those, in my opinion, is Justified Classes (although it's still missing MM11 robot masters in playable form).

Serenity Shrine is definitely the most amazing Doom map, but... it requires a 1070 to run at 60 FPS! To compare, Golden Souls 2 runs perfectly on a Haswell built-in graphics core, except one or two specifically heavy maps.

Only one of these I have not played is Realism two and I will check that out, thanks I not a fan of any of the games that these mods are based on. I not a Sonic or a Mario Brother fan and I never heard of the Hocus Pocus game. But I enjoyed each of these mods especially the Sonic Robo Blast and the Mega Man ones

As much as I love it, the multiplayer for MM8BDM has not been that great in the past few years, Unless you're really in Classes TLMS or the one-off boss mod there's nothing else that gets hosted or sees much activity. Even Deathmatch, the game's main mode, has been mostly forgotten about.
Ehh... current GZ does NOT run on potatos... at least not potatos from a few years ago. GZ as of now requires OpenGL 3.3 with framebuffer support and MANY mods don't run without that. luckily almost all the mods here can be run on previous versions of GZ/LZDoom. It sucks that GZ is moving to a more "modern" setting with all the features that are being implemented. They have basically stopped support for that source port to be ran on potatos. oh wow you saw this cool mod with awesome weapons and mechanics and you only have a shit pc from lets say 2012 because you can't afford anything else? Well tough shit you can't play it because all the fancy affects and mechanics require GZ 3.x.x and 3.x.x onward will not even run if you don't have GL 3.3... Thought the whole point of those source ports was to make them accusable to people to have fun, ergo it would run on anything... Now soon enough you'll require a damn BEEFY gaming pc to even play the base game... luckily though, if you stay in older version and play older mods it's one hell of a time. With what's there on older version it's one hell of a party. My anger is that back then the focus was to make cool awesome things that run on anything and now the focus is make insane awesome things that require a decent graphics card to even run... Why did I even go on this rant? lol

A few more Doom Mods worth mentioning IMO, Aliens Eradication, Robocop Doom, & Splatterhouse 3D.
You guys should also try Ashes 2063 and Ashes Afterglow.

I agree. MM8BDM is almost like its own game because of how many mods it has. Half of the servers on Doomseeker these days are MM8BDM.

About corruption cards, it's really good despite how simple it seems. It has a good synergy with stuff like Doom Roguelike Arsenal.
