I completely agree. I found Molly when I found out I was going blind. She , her family, Gallop, Ben, & Sir Elton John, have given me enormous amounts of joy, & Hope, over the past 8 years. I fell in love with Paul, Mr Maple, & MATHEEEEWWWWW a couple of months ago when TH-cam so kindly brought them into my recommendations. ❤ The shorts have already been so great, I can't wait to see the long form videos they are going to bless us with!

I actually understand in a way what Molly is saying about colors being feelings. I am not blind, but my favorite color is the color of sunlight when I close my eyes, and the color is what I would describe as a feeling of warmth.

I'm so happy with this collab! I've been following Molly for years and recently came across Paul & Matthew on TikTok and my first thought was "I wonder if they know Molly?" lol.
I'm not blind so I have no idea what that feels like physically or emotionally, but I was diagnosed with Adenomyosis at 28 and had a hysterectomy shortly after turning 29. I had 6 months to prepare mentally. I'd had a tubal at 24 after my second child so I was done having babies. That coupled with being sick for over a year, I was quite happy to uterus yeetus. But like Molly said, at least for me, nothing prepared me emotionally after. I was happy but still kind of grieved in a way and still, almost 6 years later, sometimes get sad.
Thank you both for being so open and vulnerable. I can't imagine the impact you sharing your lives has had ❤

I love that even though they are blind, when they talk to each other they look into each others faces as if they are making eye contact. Eye contact is so important in everyday conversation, I can’t imagine not seeing the person I’m talking to.

I love Molly's Analogy of the emotional side of vision loss. As a sighted person, I have never had to think about it before, but the analogy makes it very easy to understand.
I think i've watched a few shorts just scrolling through before, but never actually seen a full video. Actually really excited for this!

Years ago I did an "attraction" called dialog in the dark and it opened my eyes (bad expression I guess lol) to a group I never really knew anything about, and that's when I started watching blind TH-camrs. I love how you guys are helping normalizing this and giving us sighted folks great insight how to support the blind community.
Also, hearing Paul say "Matttthhheeeewww" is the highlight of my days. I crack up so much with him.

The inability to experience your senses in your mind is called aphantasia. Welcome to the club Molly!
I'm not blind, but have aphantasia, and I relate a lot to how Molly describes her mental "images!"
I'm glad somene brought this up! I have all my senses and also have aphantasia. Trying to explain what it's like to other people is so difficult
I think she has it without realizing it has a name.. I also am a full or multi sensory aphantasia.. also feelings/emotional blind. On top of that I have sensory processing disorder. This is (sadly) combined with visual snow syndrome. I see dots 24/7, like a tv with a bad signal, double vision and visual stress.. and night blind.. context blind because I am autistic. So you can basically say I am completely mindblind but still able to see.. 😅

I'm a sighted person that needs contacts. Without them everything is incredibly blurry but glasses and contacts fix that. Ive always been in awe how blind people are able to pick out clothes that match and do hair and makeup so perfectly. How they are able to create beautiful visual art. It really is a superpower. I love how they dont let themselves become victims of losing their sight but rise above it.
Molly's sense of fashion, and the way she does her makeup is way better than i could ever do as a sighted person. The other day i had to get ready without vision correction and i looked a hot mess.

Not having a mind's eye and just seeing black when you close your eyes is called aphantasia. I thought Molly might like to know that. Weirdly enough, the images your dreams make are in a completely different section of the brain so you can have extremely vivid dreams and still not be able to picture anything. I have this too.
I'm curious if people with guide dogs can swap? Like if Molly could try mr maple and vice versa 🤔 or if they only get used to their own owner
