I am happy to be associated with Gallagher Guitars, and have been for almost 4 decades, the past several years with David, Reina, and their crew. They're continuing the Gallagher legacy - in their way - and their product is second to none, in my opinion. When I got my very first Gallagher - 1986 Doc Watson model, I never dreamed I'd have my own signature model. I am honored.
Jim being such an incredible and incredibly versatile Musician, who clearly puts Music first and virtuosity second, still having incredible chops both in Finger style and Flat picking - in that his one of the few who carrying on with Doc’s traditions - i can only imagine what a great guitar his signature would be. Would love to have one.
I bought mine last summer in Homewood, AL from the good folks at Homewood Music Co. People ask me everywhere “what kind of guitar is that? it sounds so good!”. I installed a LRBaggs pickup and it sounds great!
Wow! That is a drop dead gorgeous guitar in EVERY way (tone included). Is it a limited series? Also, are you still doing the Gallagher Guitar Festival in May?
