As to how much more popular it then becomes is anyones guess . Tbf it's not hard to guess that if you put a spinner out anywhere in and around Portsmouth/Hamble point and the solent you won't be far off a Bass. I only learnt from this particular video that the access is good at that spot. It's a contested subject and you'll find most will give an idea of the area buy not Specific marks etc. After all part of the fun is the hunt Good luck

From what I’ve researched I think they’re similar to salmon in that they are born in freshwater, live most of they’re adult lives somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean and then return to spawn. I had only heard them vaguely mentioned as if some sort of mythical creature 😂
If you mean the Shad, i was told online they aren't allowed to be targeted on purpose and if accidently caught return to water immediately as they are a endangered species

Hamble is good if you no the tides, bait method and the suss! I used to earn a living here catching bass on the rod!😅
Haha no way I’ve not been doing so well this year on the bass front need to get back up there soon for another go.
