I had the same choice recently. I rode both the Dominar 400 and the Duke 390 for 200kms each.(both belonging to my friends). Both bikes were absolutely fantastic and very well maintained. But for my money, I went with the Dominar 400. I just absolutely love the feel of the bike, the power delivery and character. It was definitely the better feeling bike for me. So its more person to person. But I can suggest the Dominar 400 without a shadow of a doubt to anyone. Besides the fit and finish and build quality of the BS6 version is simply superb. And build quality and insane speeds will not matter if you have already started connecting with Royal Enfield‘s brotherhood. All bikes are special. Pick your favourite and welcome to the club.
The ending was 👌😉. Both duke 250 & dominar 400 are good bikes. But the real confusion starts when both duke 390 & re cont 650 comes. The last two bikes are so close on pricing, that one might go for re taken the fact that extra cylinder is worth & for the first time ever the smoothest re. Whereas duke is the machine that is more aggressive & eager. Man the 3 lakh segment is getting crowded slowly but in a good way at last!
You can't compare dominar to Duke be it 250 or 390. Dominar is for those who knows what enfield is missing. As I have ridden both I know what a complete package dominar is. When I had classic 350 I used to love it's weight on the highway but used to miss better brakes and ability to cruise at triple digit speed easily. With dominar I have everything what I wished for. When it comes to Duke it's all about power, the only way you'll love riding it if you are always late for your work so that you have to rev it hard everytime. You can't enjoy the calm ride with the Duke. Obviously you can but then your bike won't.
Absolutely 🔥 broo I brought 2019 dominar. It's a crazy bike. Initially I had classic 350 2015 model,i sold it 3 months back, excluding all negative issues of RE the only thing I can say is we feel like Lion while riding it man.Under 2L price no other bike gives that much maza while riding at 60-90 speed(its my personal feeling).I juz miss my bike man but my new dominar makes me to forget that pain with its hyper riding.Dominar is great bike n value for money

The bike is hefty and not as keen a lane splitter or filtering God when stuck in traffic. Your 1up will be really pleased with you though. Get the D390 and realise what it feels like to get high on your commutes and to blaze the twisties. It's seriously addictive. But stop looking at the fuel consumption and the routine cheap but frequent spare changes. It'll spit helfire on you if there is prolonged traffic unless u ou switch to ICE coolant.. The dominar does not sell much because the colour option are crappy. They have done that mistake in old as well as new dominar. One thing they have done good is no much graphics , this makes it look mature, but more colour options are needed.

Dominer rocks, 28000 km ridden and prooved that it is a beast,,, watch Candida Luis she ridden in a tough terrain, slushy,, narrow roads. Salute to brave Candida...India to Australia.. amazing... make in India... wow
I would go for dominar if it was lighter. It weighs like a 2 cylinder. See the reason i choose single cylinder motorcycles is because of less weight and less mechanical parts to maintain. So i bought the duke 390 From Philippines.
Don't rev it above 5000rpm for first 500kms, change engine oil and oil filter at first 500kms. Don't rev above 8000rpm till 1500kms, then change oil and oil filter. After that you can rev full rpm range. Make sure to change engine oil and oil filter at every 5000kms your bike will run like rocket. Ride safe.

Both are good bikes but still today the best 250cc available in the market is CBR 250R. No other single cylinder 250cc comes close to CBR in terms of smoothness, refinement, build quality, reliability, top end performance and top speed. The king of 250cc. It is also more attention grabber (especially the bs4 version with led headlight with the matt axis grey metallic with striking green color)...
@@powerdriftofficial Yeah when you see an old cbr 250 with old paint scheme. But the new led headlight setup and new graphics has certainly led the old horse quite a refreshing feel. As i own one (matt axis grey metallic with striking green bs4 version ). It is an attention grabber in the streets as i experience it myself which the dominar or duke fails to grab. And when you ride a bike its not always about looks, its about the feel that the bike gives to you. Btw i am a huge fan of your channel since it was power to rider and have not missed a single video of your channel. But it was a bit sad for me that you have not reviewed CBR 250R when it relaunched, especially when you guys have re-reviewed all Ktm bikes after every relaunches. I hoped to see a review of CBR 250R (bs4 version) in Powerdrift. But unfortunately it did not come.

Duke 250 41kmpl?....it dont give more than 25 in city...and 30 to 32 on highways
Bro going to book Duke 25 .. r u sure abt 25kmpl in city?????
Wat will be ur choice now Dominar or Duke25??
@@BlackpearlAbu i am sure because i have 250 duke since 2 years now.....and i love it...i would choose duke over dominar any day...if mileage is ur concern....both will give almost same mileage..
I would go for 250...because of its looks😍❤️
Damn the ending, most creative post video till date
Just keep adding one more lakh more and buy most powerful bike in the world😂😂
All of us would if we could, no? :P
😂😂😂😂😂😂 yea bro keep adding 1 lakh to get get ninja h2r 😂😂😂
Haha...i like how the video ended by bringing in the Monsters of the League. Varun your look during this scene was hilarious
Spend 18 lakhs more and get yourself a BMW s1000rr
good old powerdrift video... was waiting for this kind of video...
And more such heading your way!
I think if you are a touring enthusiast, Dominar is a much better bike. It comes to it's own on the highways and if you are not too aggressive, even on the twisties.
#TeamDomi for sure!!
At the end u put us on a confused situation bro.....🤣
The dominar does not sell much because the colour option are crappy.
They have done that mistake in old as well as new dominar.
One thing they have done good is no much graphics , this makes it look mature, but more colour options are needed.
who's writing your scripts?
give him/her a hike
That ending was the cherry on the icing. Really fun review, these guys have mad skills... Not just the presenters, but the whole team! In the end, it depends on the requirement. All of them are great fun to ride!
I bought dominar 400 2019 edition in April after riding 7000 km I can confidently say that non of The bike can beat it in overall performance means thrust and stability when you're riding above 100 kmph .i have drive more than 600 km in a day.so genuinely saying love it
U can't say no bike can beat it.😂😂 there are many bike which is way better than dominar
@@ashikkumarashokkumar8232 bro agree with u I mean to say that in that budget range dominar is perfect bike in performance and power 😊😊
@@amitSharma-oy6dm if rs400 is launched then dominar can't match with it 😀 also rs 400 is expected to be under 2lakh so it's nearly same budget
@@ashikkumarashokkumar8232 I don't think so rs400 is not going to come.
Dominor is for mature riders who always wanted a big bike but couldn't buy oneand the ktm 250 is for the riders who wanna have fun but can't afford the 390..!!!!
Are you implying that mature riders don't want to have fun? Have you seen #shumi on his #Feroci? That's the ultimate example of a mature rider having fun.
wow..amazing comparo and loved the way it ended..haha.
How about a mega comparo with Duke 250, Gixxer 250, Dominar, Himalayan, Apache 310 and Mojo....(since all of them more or less fall in the same price bracket)
Since you guys have been asking, we are already planning for one.
Was waiting for something like this to happen...! Duke is awesome but 2019 Dominar is hard to resist as well.
The Dominar surely has a promising proposal.
😂😂😂😂😂 they just make fun of varun by saying spend 1 lakh and 1 lakh i like it
And eventually, you end up in a dealership for exotics! :P
It's not about how fast she goes, it's about how fast she can turn. Handling of Bajaj is no thank you for me.
Tu Madre dominar is not a sport bike.
@@user-xu2xx6pc3o yet it has pathetic handling.
*Now these are the videos we're looking forward to! Use me as a "more comparos" button*
Aye, we hear you Reyon!
Though, who wins in your books?
You guys told everything at the climax..... Interceptor is the best !!
So i bought the duke 390
From Philippines.
Great choice, bro!
Noticed a goof-up. At 4.32
City fuel economy: 41 kmpl / Highway: 35.66 kmpl
Yeah LOL
Checkout the gixersf 250 video in zigwheels, they do say the same about duke 250, 41. KMPL in city. Cant really aggree to it.
Ending farrruuu tha..!😂
Now it's time to figure out which one comes on top..! KTM DUKE 390 OR ROYAL ENFIELD Interceptor 650.🤜
Thanks PD. Bought duke250 today.❤️❤️❤️
Congratulations safe Ride
@@shafeekchepzz9545 thanks bro.
Congrats bro ..
Ride safe.
@@cranky1812 thanks bro.. I will be careful as u suggest
Waited for a Month to Get My D250 ABS and haven't looked back . OfCourse you can spend an extra lakh to go for the bigger displacement but do you have an extra lakh ?
Ktm lmao
That end was crazy?
Why do u guyz keep comparing dominar with dukes....its a tourer and the other is not......Compare it with enfields,,,,that will make much more sense........
Yes bro best bike for "Touring"..👍😀👌..
4:34 Wait... what was that @PowerDrift ??
City mileage more than highways? "are you high"?? :D
Good review rather than track review. Indians need this because we don't have roads like the track.
Anyday dominar 400.
Amazing video guys.
And the ending was epic.. Plus varun's expression added a magical touch to it.
#TeamPD #PDArmy
There's always a one lakh more.
Bought 2020 bs6 dominar ...... Clocked 300 kms in just 3 days ..... Already in love with it ..... Just a beast ... Damm torquy ❤️
Crazy fucking Ending!!😆
Finishing was ammmmaaazzing
Oh my..... U know what makes me Happy?? ... The way Power Drift do the dramatic and thrilling videos.... Feels so good...And the ending was Fabbb... Keep up the good work guys...PD!!!... by the way, miss our Sagar 😔
I love the way u ppl create scenes man , just brilliant , keep it up guyz .good work
I m not going to get either of these bikes😔😔😔 but still here to see you engaging yet superb review. Just love it god bless u bro😘😘😘😘
One day u will!
Powerdrift is love.. Whatever you make touches our hearts 💝💝💝
And that just touched our heart!
@@powerdriftofficial 😍😍😍😍😍😍 one dark fantasy to meet the powerdrift crew... 💝
Ending is gem! 😛😂
That's somewhat true but wouldn't you agree that it is also starting to get a bit long in the tooth?
Test ride sf /gixxer 250
@@Jango123munna yes sf 250 is also great. I already test rode it. It's superb. Suzuki after all man. Japanese bikes are japanese bikes...
Ending was best. You made us realise the reality that money can buy bigger or smaller!
