Dominar can do all the things RE650 can at 2/3rd price with equal or better reliability. To each his own. I tour on RC390 hence, to each his own. There is no perfect bike.
RiceCake isn’t RE 650 a vfm crap too as per your logic? I mean It sure is expensive than dominar but having 650 cc twin under 3 lakhs is a larger vfm than even dominar isn’t it? Your comment is such an irony. All I am telling is to each his own. None of the motorcycles are “crap” per se. Infact our infrastructure, riding etiquettes and weather conditions are crap as I have experienced.
The dominar is heavy because they use cheaper parts which makes them heavy. If they were to get lighter materials which are equally strong the price might get close to the ktm 390.

@@raajrane Nahhh. I have a simple philosophy. Apart from your family and loved ones, there should be one thing that is immune to monetary logic. Something that makes you genuinely happy. Just one thing where your heart wins every time. Cheap phone, cheap clothes, cheap food, etc etc. But everything motorcycle is the best that my pockets can manage.
there is not a perfect bike we must agree with that. There is no point arguing about which one is better. A bike which suits one's personality, a bike that will fulfill one's requirements and needs should be bought. If we consider mileage, maintenance, reliability, comfort, performance in each and every bike then we may end up in a never ending discussion.
been using it since a year now. taken it over the worst of conditions and even cornered it. the bike does support cornering easily but the tyres are the worst. the tyres skid even if u brake hard, never support cornering. the weight is an issue and also not an issue. on a slope yes it's the worst thing to do with a dominar and its weight. but on normal roads its pretty fine and most of all stable even during cross winds. yes it doesn't get a windshield, but neither does the interceptor or the Duke390 get one. talking about the rider and pillion comfort- its pretty comfortable though but for longer rides - suggestions are to use a gel or air seat. eaaily cruises at speeds of 120-130kmph, has no issues doing that either. comes withba set of manufacturing issues but again bajaj has got them resolved too.
As a dominar owner i'll never go on a ride as pillion on the bike. Pillion seat is a bit harder it's like sitting on a hard and compact sponge. And The foot rest for pillion is a bit high all the pressure you gonna feel is on your hips trust me you never wanna go hard on a bump. But the rider gonna enjoy as hell. The power the torque and the grunt it has is absolutely tremendous. Ridder seat is very comfy.
Awesome review again by zigwheels. Dominar is not actually irrelevant in the market with the interceptor priced at just 3 lakhs on road. Dominar single cyl 400cc is definitely no match to the premium 650cc parallel twin.
@ViShnu VJN India is deprived off multi cyl engines for bikes and 650twin comes more like a blessing for people having 3lks budget. The feel of twin cannot be compared to any single cyl. Dominar is no doubt a good bike, but at that price it shouldve been a twin.
Hi Guys. I'm moving to the Philippines very shortly, and bringing my RE 650 GT with me will cost too much in import duties. I'm seriously considering getting a Dominar 400 as my new bike, when I get there. The 2019 Dominar is only just arriving in the Philippines, so this will be the bike available in the dealers (it's sold through Kawasaki dealers in the Philippines). The riding will be city and single carriageway highway. Do you think the Dominar is a good choice ?
RE Interceptor is still a better value for money, simple and robust. Dominar is for tech savy budget riders, Duke 390 is raw power. Bajaj still has to change it's image, look at the CB300R. No competition there.
interceptor has a twin engine, everything else is very basic and budget parts. So much so that the bike wobbles at higher speed even after weighing 200kg, that's how basic poorly made the suspensions are.
@@aditya9600 Do you really think the 650 is poorly made? At least go through some good reviews like Jay Leno's Garage before you say so. Dominar is feature loaded but a Duke 390 is miles ahead in every aspect. Just cause Bajaj slapped a new chasis and panels on a detuned Duke 390 engine doesn't mean it's innovation. It's much heavier and had to maneuver than a 390. As for RE, the current UCE engine is reaching it's end of life. New BS6 engines and bikes are already in the road testing phase with 750s and 800 v twins. What does Bajaj have to offer? Just check the brand image of RE, all Bajaj can claim is that they own KTM and are doing sales in Developing countries, nothing on innovation.
@@aditya9600 what are you talking about? Aditya Mohan hey liar, i have taken extensive test drive on all three of these bikes and found re interceptor a very well build machine. No vibration what so ever even at peak speed. And driving feels like magic. Just watch reviews by foreign agencies to re confirm its standard. RE showrooms standards are far far better than bajaj

This is a very sensible comment. Many fanboys argue each other this and that is better.
Look at his video on ninja 400. He walks off stating it lacks sense.
If an interceptor 650 is pitched against a street twin or Harley does it even stand a chance.. All it is a cheap 650 that is pitted against a 400 cc .. That's a disgrace.
Brendon Fernandes Well there are fanboys and then there are haters as well. Its all a part of ecosystem :D
Interceptor 650 rocks
I really hate that Bajaj is not reducing the weight of their bike. Pricing is amazing of Bajaj.
true.. too heavy. kawasaki ninja 400 has less weight thus more speedy =)
The dominar is heavy because they use cheaper parts which makes them heavy.
If they were to get lighter materials which are equally strong the price might get close to the ktm 390.
Idk why everyone underestimates dominar2019 each company has its own design, weight layout etc.other than duke390 people can also buy dominar and its much better than its previous model hope bajaj will comeout with more features design and model in coming years
That's a fair review Zigwheels. You know what we think. That's the thing that counts.
Very honest review. Thanks. Dominar is on my list for my first bike.
Yes nowadays bikes are all about brains, because maintenance costs , fuel costs riding comfort, all need to be seen, All Indians are not ultra rich sir, so Bajaj knows the buying capability of a common Indian🙏🙏☺️
Wow, that last line was amazing. U said a lot of things without actually saying anything
Very Nice Review Comparison !! DOMINAR is more versatile bike out of all 3...but Bajaj quality of parts used is cheap and will remain cheap....the starter still makes lot of Noise....if you see a 15 years old honda unicorn it was still smoother starter and overall bike too....If bajaj redesign dominar again...it can be best out of all 3 here.. if bajaj borrowed 90 % of engine from KTM duke since they are partnered with them...why did they make dominar a lot heavier in weight ??....KTM is a better engine and balanced in everyway but the looks of KTM is extra Fancy and Funky....Interceptor the only good part is they giving parallel twin engine at a very good price but lot of design flaws in Interceptor too big..too heavy...seat is very uncomfortable even if you install a touring seat it will not make it wider....footrest rider and pillion very poor positioning...pillion nothing to hold for safety the hold bar is way below to hold really stupid designing Royal enfield.....headlight still halogen not so powerful....with interceptor lot of aftermarket acxesories will be needed....Dominar is more value fof money but it does not offer a premium look and feel...cheap plastic parts.paint job does not look premium....handle bar feels cheap...Dominar engine still makes pulsar kind of Rough Noises not smooth at all
This bike is damn near perfect. The only thing that can be faulted is the position of the gear position indicator.
Always go for what your head(mind) says.. You heart can be convinced..
That's horrible advice when it comes to motorcycles.
@@aamir.khan.1991 but sometimes you need to convince your heart bro atleast when it comes down to your pocket 😛😂
WELL THATS IT AS ALWAYS A FULL DETAILED REVIEW AS ALWAYS..GREAT WORK PD
It's a great video really. All the usual queries have been really well answered. Great job :)
Kattappa hows d dominor
Kattappa : zakkas sir
Excellent words on the end , from mind dominor from heart increase your budget. wow!!
The choice of music and shots are amazing.
The last line was spot on 👍
Dominar is a practical bike in all situations. Simple
Superb video. Full clarity and exact words. Bang on 👍
Very nicely reviewed to every aspect with a bit comparing to its rivals, loved it,sir
I think the most all round, most fun is the Duke here.
Dominar is the best value and good compromise.
kawasaki ninja 400 is awesome for this category =)
Definitely deserves a thumps up
idk why but this guy reminded me of Sagar Sheldekar from powerdrift
Very well compared.....👍👍👍
Motorcycles for Enthusiasts all always decisions made by Heart😎.
These days zigwheels videos are better than even PowerDrift!
Good going guys!
Straight and simple ❤️#zigwheels
Bajaj has fulfilled your wishes now
Nicely done, better Comparison ,liked it.
Best dominar review, thank you.
Review & screen play are excellent.. that remembered hiper time of Powerdrift.
The best video!.. regards from Ecuador southamerica
Already got the RR310, next has to be the Interceptor 650 for cruising.
Great camera work, good review
been using it since a year now. taken it over the worst of conditions and even cornered it.
the bike does support cornering easily but the tyres are the worst. the tyres skid even if u brake hard, never support cornering.
the weight is an issue and also not an issue.
on a slope yes it's the worst thing to do with a dominar and its weight.
but on normal roads its pretty fine and most of all stable even during cross winds.
yes it doesn't get a windshield, but neither does the interceptor or the Duke390 get one.
talking about the rider and pillion comfort- its pretty comfortable though but for longer rides - suggestions are to use a gel or air seat.
eaaily cruises at speeds of 120-130kmph, has no issues doing that either.
comes withba set of manufacturing issues but again bajaj has got them resolved too.
As a dominar owner i'll never go on a ride as pillion on the bike.
Pillion seat is a bit harder it's like sitting on a hard and compact sponge.
And
The foot rest for pillion is a bit high all the pressure you gonna feel is on your hips trust me you never wanna go hard on a bump.
Very sensible verdict!👍
Budget says dominar
Mind says interceptor
But heart says duke 390✌
dominar is still a great vfm product, it can do anything that anyone wants from int. or duke with 80k less money
Good one PD!!👍 Review was simply to the point!
The best review I've come across
Last 10 seconds were crisp.
U Want Cruising..🙄
U Want Sporty looks..
Go For This Big Machine..😉
For me dominar looks ugly, no offence
@@143kiruba Dominar 400 looks bulky and unique unlike the duke series which all bikes share the same design
@@dherajkotla7563 what about dominar250 bajaj trolled you🤣🤣🤣
@ШИРИШ whatever but am not a fan of its looks
Excellent video of the year
V- good explanation
Love this review, even though i dont ride this bike. Real reviews, with pros and cons. Keep it up guys
Your reviews brought new life to zigwheels, keep em coming!!
Why are you lying I rode a INT 650 and GT 650 I had no issues with the bike they are really well built and live up to the expectations Dominar is just a cheap rip off of the Duke 390 they even borrowed the engine from the Duke , what is actually Bajaj is the design 🤣
Interceptor's engine is no doubt very refined and well built. But I felt the ride comfort is very bad. For the pillion it's even worse.
Its a do-it-all bike with a reasonable price...
Increase your Budget on Point!!
UR best Reviewer Zig wheels........👍👍👍
No heart no brains it's just the Dominating DOMINAR ❤️
Well explained. Dominar still dominates
People watch these reviews in order to select the bike and the reviewer always confuses at the end I mean you atleast should have a proper opinion about we should buy it or not , next time don't confuse. Good Review !!! 💓 #cheers 🥂
Woww one of the best reviews
Dominate 4 me is an incomplete bike😢😢....
But I love it....
Sorry to differ on your mileage figures as Interceptor 650 highway mileage is 30+kmpl at a cruising speed of 80 to 100kmph.
Dominar is definitely a good bike but the lure of a twin cylinder for just 75k more is simply irresistible.
True, I have done 1700+ km on my interceptor and I have got around 32kmpl.
75k more? 1.10 lakh more expensive my friend.
Dominor= value for money 😻😻😻😻
Q&A type review. അടിപൊളി !!👌👌
The video is great but from a editor prospective the cinematic bars are well placed..
Anyway bike looks fabulous 😍👍. Good work team #bajaj
Exactly what I needed... Would be great if I can find a more in-depth review ever 😊
Both Dominar and Duke will age out in a few more years but the Interceptor won't😌... Its beauty timeless... I got myself a 650 Ravishing Red
How does it look in real ?? Is it a head turner like domi and duke ??
dheraj kotla of course
