4:06 Yes, road units are meant as "over the road" or mainline/freight stock, but i'm pretty sure they are interchangeable with shunters Edit: North American shunters or "road switcher" are designed to haul mainline services and shunt them in Rail yards.
They should add Toronto’s GO transit commuter trains, which are the same vehicles on Peninsula Corridor. It would be good to have another Canadian railroad
Why can’t they add the WindsorQuebec corridor? It would see most of the GO Transit network, Amtrak’s Maple Leaf, VIA Rail Canada, maybe the UP Express, the RÉM train to Brossard, and Montréal’s EXO commuter rail system
Here in Nort America we call them ties.Or railroad ties.Sorry to point that out.And we run longer trains here too.We don't use a crappy link coupler like they do in the UK,France,Germany ect.Buffer couplers are so unsafe. Many countries are switching over to automatic couplers like the AAR Knuckle couplers like we use here in the US.😊I do like your videos.😊
The horn sounds alone are what put me off this route, and as I mentioned in my Ranking video, the horn sounds are used for Mavis from S15 to the end of the show in Thomas and Friends.
This route shines in free roam, I have lots of fun just putting run around the industrial parks and making fake delivery's. Also there is a very nice commuter time table made in the new pc editor now on train sim community
As A Railfan Around This Area, (Oakville) I Can Clearly Say The 7000 Series GP9RM's Work In The Yards, And Barely Go On CN L554, I Have Seen One (7071) On L554 Paired With a GP40-2LW. Also The CN Trains At Oakville Go On the Wrong Track, As They Always Go On Track 1 When Heading to Aldershot or Burlington (And Back to Oakville,) Though they Sometimes use Track 3 Which is Correct. Would of Also Liked to see more trains On this route Such as the GP38-2W And GP40-2LW. Another Thing the Timetable is Wrong, There Are Only a Few Services Today That Run On This: CN L554 | Oakville - Aldershot 2:00 PM CN L554 (Return Trip) Aldershot - Oakville 6:00 PM CN L527 Aldershot - Oakville 9:00 PM CN L543 Oakville - Mimico Where GO Transit Willowbrook Yard Is In Toronto.
2 things. 1. yes those are def reused sounds off of the old ass RSC GP9s. 2. The "generic hornsound" is actually a K3H, thus accurate. Though idk why they couldn't have gotten a better recording.
Probably because they couldn't get a better horn recording. I don't think they had much contacts back then compared to now where they have a contact who has all types of horns to record
as a Canadian who mainly catches Canadian National Trains for my channel this adon has pissed me off for several reasons. 1: the GP38-2 should have an Ekyrail E Bell sound. 2: they couldn't even get the horns right and just used a Stock horn sound which is so common but it kinda works for the GP9RM but could have had some audio tuning to make it sound better. 3: the poor Scenery and lack of other equipment is so bad. if Dovetail were to make a route for my home line the CN Guelph sub they better do it right
4:10 basicly as it was more advantageous to have 2 axle bogies for slow switching traction and 3 axle bogies for the heavy and fast drags on mainlines , tho it didnt matter too much as they could be used either way , since the biggest diffrence was usually just the amount of traction motors , as its cheaper to buy minimal and asign roles on normal days So in short: 🤓 yesh
Purchased TSW4, with CN Oakville add-on (originally TSW2). No GP38-2 to paint in TSW4 livery designer. If I buy BNSF or UP Heritage SD70ACE add-on, will I be able to paint an SD70ACE in TSW4 livery designer or not because it was originally TSW3? Thanks in advance for any info.
All three of the ones u highlighted are the biggest markets and most money being made from. Dovetail needs the profits so I can't exactly blame them to cater to those based plus it must be easier for them. I fully understand your point just putting the reasons why. No justifications for the quality being bad though.
DTG most will say (Dove Tail Games) as I see it more like "Don't Test Games" as they never test anything they make reasons why everything is broken and has so many bugs all over it. If you say this game is Realistic your and idoit, as this game skip's everything that would make the game Realistic as it's just an arcade style game with really good graphics and a Fake timetable that everyone praises like its Gold.
I'm going on holiday this weekend, so this will be my last video until I get back.
Enjoy your holiday! Thank you for the review :)
Enjoy
Enjoy the break while it lasts. We really appreciate your content here on TH-cam
Have a good one.

Best series on YT; I like the reviews before I even watch them!

It wasn't an 'update' to the line adding the passenger stuff, it was a community made mod which has since released
Why can’t they add the WindsorQuebec corridor?
It would see most of the GO Transit network, Amtrak’s Maple Leaf, VIA Rail Canada, maybe the UP Express, the RÉM train to Brossard, and Montréal’s EXO commuter rail system
Would be amazing
I guess it would’ve been too hard for them to give us the Rocky Mountaineer’s route through the Rockies
So much for DTG saying "Passenger services for Oakvile coming in tsw2! then TSW3! Then TSW4! -__-

That horn sound file is so nostalgic haha

It's not "dead straight".
It has one slight bend in it! 😂
Someone needs to make a mod for these locomotives

I'm afraid I can't verify if the BNSF and UP packs are compatible with the livery designer or not, because I don't own those packs myself.
I do play tsw2 and most Morden routes aren't available. dtg after hereing that spent 1000 pounds on add in and tsw4

I wouldn't mind whoever makes this game anymore just lets you drag through what you purchased in dlc from previous ones into the current trains sim.
Well it's is getting a huge update as I saw in the roadmap
It's not getting any sort of update. You're confusing it with editor content which is pc only.
Not related to the route being talked about but can you please talk about how scummy the new LIRR Commuter add on is?
In what way do you think it's scummy?
(I will be reviewing the route at some point soon).
@@DC4260Productions Most of the route is the same with the exception of the new train and extension but they’re selling it as a whole separate product
thats why today its 26:55$ with tax
