    Excellent Video! Learned a few things. Hopefully Part 2 has safety systems turned on. DTG have them isolated by default to help new players with no train driving knowledge. A bit of a nuisance for the rest of us but hopefully one day they will give us an option to change the default status.

    So cool to see a person play a simulator of their real life job. There isn't many people who are willing to play a simulator of their real life work , there are many farmers in real life that won't play the farming simulators that are out. With railroad employees it's completely different they love what they do and can't get enough of being around trains.....me having a big love for trains i definitely would be playing the simulators on my down time if i was a railroad engineer 😁

    @mavadelo 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

    5:23 No, you are not stuck in 1.5 . This is actually one of the things that annoy me in TSW (and before that in TSC), distances are straight line distances and not track distance (at least above a mile this seems to be the case). Normally, especially on UK and most German routes not really a problem as it generally is close to the real distance. But certain mountain routes in Germany and the USA where you "double back" a lot due to S curves, the distance goes down, up, down, up... highly annoying as you never have an idea of how far it actually is.

    Having played the previous stuttering train simulators and after reading all the negative reviews about TSW4, I was not expecting much to be honest. I had a play last night and my first experience was enjoyable even on my 10 year old potato pc. The major gripe seems to be the way the scenery loads, even on the latest PC's. I have always relied on a program called Dimmdrive to pre load routes and assets into RAM before playing which helped with the stutters a lot. I am hoping Dovetail are looking into this and will fix it soon. I also hope that they improve the steam experience and add some historic scenery. Great to hear the experiences of a real driver and I will stay tuned for more.

    Idea set up a working that matches a real train working for Timings and restrictions weather unit and size and then get a driver to play it as the real train moves see it it hits same points same time see who gets where what time and who’s faster or better
    Every thing on no helps as real as to the actual loco ur on even if it can’t go as fast as broken build it in to game if poss use actual same unit and unit number. Then do slit screen cab view of the route to see both

    I would feel very safe knowing this driver was in charge of the train I was on in real life 👍

    Any chance of getting the game on PC and maybe some peripherals (or simple mouse and keyboard) for another videos? For better graphics fidelity and less joystick/camera jumps - I know Jess didn't do it on purpose but it was slightly distracting :)

    Why is LNER so goated. I'm jealous I live on the WCML, give us LNER.
